The best around. The management, the wait staff, the nurses, all top notch. Beautiful marble, grand entrances, georgous views from every angle. The rooms are like luxury hotel suites. Blackjack tournaments, Bingo Nights, Private Hair Salon, Full Movie Theatre. Pool Tables. Authentic Slot Machines. Anything you want, they have it! The company that runs the establishment has done their homework, has years of experience, and the ability to create an amazing environment for seniors to come and not worry about anything. Truly Remarkable Place!

Hello. My name is Lisa Minner and my dad resides at The Landing. My dad has been a resident for 14 months. I’m not going to lie, it was extremely hard to get my dad to agree to sell his home and move to independent living. The staff at the Landing made it extremely easy for my dad to settle in to his new home. They guided him in the beginning to the dining area and also to activities and helped him to meet other residents. They did so many things to make him comfortable and they took a huge burden off of our shoulders. We knew my dad was being taken care of and more importantly being kept safe. Fast forward to present day. I can’t begin to say thank you to all of the staff. When we walk in to the building we are greeted by staff at the front desk. No matter what we need or what we ask them they never seem bothered. Oftentimes we call because we cannot reach my dad and we need to get a message to him. They always make sure they call back quickly when we have to leave a message. The business office staff are always available to answer any questions or concerns and they genuinely care. The food service team are pleasant and engaging and they make sure that my dad has what he needs (or should I say what we would like him to have) They make it a point to remind him to drink his water and they make sure that when he is not up to coming to the dining hall they bring his food to his room. The activities staff engage the residents and they are energetic. Whenever we ask them for help with the TV or with making sure something is put together they never hesitate. So many awesome activities. We had a blast at the day at the casino. My dad loves them. The nursing staff is always willing to listen to any concerns or questions we may have and they keep us informed if something seems off with my dad. They watch over him. They are never to busy to answer our questions or check to see if something was or was not done. The caregivers genuinely care. They will do whatever is needed and they make sure if he needs to be checked on that they in fact check on him. They don’t just say it was done. Even housekeeping and the bus drivers are awesome. You can tell that each person there genuinely cares. You don’t find that in today’s world. Unfortunately I cannot give everyone’s name because there are too many people to remember. I would highly suggest that if you need to find a place for your mom or dad or even yourself that you should check out The Landing at Washington Square. I don’t think you will be disappointed

At first I was apprehensive about putting my mom in an Assisted Living facility. She has dementia. My husband and I moved in with her, to help her out, but we had to work so she was by herself during the day. We could see she was going down hill. She could no longer be by herself during the day and we needed to do something. We looked around and visited places and when we visited the Landing, I knew this could work. My mom has been here for a year now and has bounced back. She does activities, eats (she has gained weight), goes on field trips and enjoys talking to her friends and drinking her coffee. Don't get me wrong, she still has her bad days, but they aren't as bad as they used to be since she has friends around her and a staff that knows how to handle those tough days. I love visiting the Opal Area and I love helping out (giving manicures, playing blackjack, bingo, and bringing in snacks for coffee time, to name a few things) and talking with all my new friends (staff and residents). I have a blast every time I visit. Each day is different and as one of the residents says there's "never a dull moment".

Cannot express enough my family's pleasure and satisfaction with the care and concern my mother received from the day she moved in until her passing. Cannot put in words the love and care showered on her by the nurses, aids, physical therapist and the folks driving social activities in the memory care unit. Special recognition to Ed Corsi from start to finish he has been a class act and a resource to be relied upon for every question and concern. As much as we all hated to move our mother out of her home we could not have delivered the care she received over the last 6 months. Super clean facility, friendly staff, well maintained building and grounds and a safe place for your loved one with memory loss or cognitive function challenges.

Really looked good from outside. But did not go in. Will return soon to visit a friend.

Our Mother was the master of her craft. Six children and eighteen grandchildren would all tell you the same. Choosing a place together with her to call "home" so that she could be cared for as her memory escaped her, was the priority in our decision making. From the moment we met our salesman, Ed Corsi, he was warm, welcoming, professional and beyond accommodating. He assured us that our Mother would be taken care of as if she were anyone's Mother that ever laid eyes on her. Well, that couldn't have been more true! Although we had 24/7 visitation and our Mom had at least 2-3 visitors per day, she was never alone or unhappy. She thrived and had constant companionship in the CNA's and RN's. The facility itself is well managed, clean, modern and exudes a joyful vibe ... Upon entrance you would think you were at a five-star hotel! The dining halls, weekend entertainment and activities were something that my Mom enjoyed during the last six months ... As heartbroken as we are that Mom recently passed, we feel like she passed at "home". If you are looking for a place to live with assistance within a community or are looking for a place for a loved one with a Memory Care diagnosis, I promise you once you get to The Landings At Washington Square you should look no further. I'm writing this review in the hopes that one family at a crossroads that may be reading this, will make the appointment today.

My dad lived his best life at The Landings. Being a health care professional I was very picky about who I could trust with my beloved father. The team there treated him with love and respect. Making the decision to have your loved one cared for in an Assisted Living is difficult. The Landings made him so happy and I never doubted the decision to support his choice to live there. Thank you to the staff for making his time there unforgettable.
