We are very happy with the care our mom receives at the Bristal in Waldwick, NJ. We were very hesitant about our mom moving to an assisted living facility. The Bristal is beautiful, the perfect size and does not feel like a facility at all. All of the staff are extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. Our mom has also met lovely friends and enjoys all of the activities and socialization. We feel very grateful to have found the Bristal in Waldwick, NJ.

We recently visited the Bristal looking for a place for my mother, it left great impression. It is beautiful, spotless, and felt warm and welcoming. It also seemed like someone would always be nearby to help if needed, which was very reassuring for our family. What stood out most was that my mother felt comfortable during the visit. The people living there were friendly and welcoming, and she enjoyed socializing with them during a social hour. We could picture her fitting in there. The Bristal came highly recommended by friends and neighbors, and after our visit, we completely understand why.

We have had wonderful experiences with Bristal Waldwick since my mother moved in back in January of 2020. She loves the staff there, and they are very friendly to families as well. Lisa at the front desk is a GEM, and always has a smiling face and a friendly attitude. Janeris, the head of Memory Care, has been INCREDIBLY helpful with always keeping our family up to date on any issues my mother may have. She's always looking out for her residents. I also have to coordinate with the Director of Administrative Services, Adele, a lot since my mother has long term care insurance, and she is always so quick to help and always has the answers to any questions I may have! Very appreciative of both staff and support team at the Bristal.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize The Bristal at Waldwick. I am a geriatric care manager who has been a social worker and licensed nursing home administrator for many years. If you are looking for an assisted living or memory care community for yourself or your loved one, I highly recommend The Bristal at Waldwick. The staff at the Bristal are amazing. They are so kind, always going above and beyond to take extra special care of their residents. Adele, the Director of Administrative services is absolutely amazing. She is responsive, kind and caring. Trish is also outstanding. Not only from my own experience, but from the consistent feedback I receive from my clients and families. I am grateful to have The Bristal as a community where I can refer my clients and families and know that they will be taken care of by all the staff.

We moved my mom into the Bristal of Waldwick back in Dec 2022. She just passed, April 2024. To say that the entire experience working with the Bristal staff the entire time mom was there was top notch, that would be an understatement. From the very beginning, Trish helped us feel like family. The wellness staff lead by Wilhemena was so attentive to mom’s needs, every single day. Mom spent her final year plus comfortable and cared for as if she were family. We had the peace of mind knowing mom was well cared for 24/7. The entire staff, wellness staff, support staff, everyone at every level treated her with respect, kindness and love. We could never have asked for more

I just can't say enough about The Bristal assisted living home in Waldwick, NJ. The environment here is comforting and stress free, the staff is always super helpful and are there when you need them, no matter the time of day or night. For those that need that extra bit of care it's right here with love built right in. The nurses and aides are gentle and very caring, for you are never alone. They enjoy their job and love helping people and it shows. The dependable staff is available to bring you to doctors appointments or even shopping and the entire building is immaculate, always clean and fresh from top to bottom, superbly maintained. Every room is bright and cheerful with a library and other special areas, nothing depressing here. ™ The building is only a couple of years old so everything is like brand new, modern and up to date. And the number of residents is small enough to give it a friendly family like atmosphere where everyone knows each other's name. The daily provided meals are prepared as if this were a 5 star Manhattan Restaurant. There is entertainment 7 days a week, whether it be live, movies, games or puzzles along with excercise sessions with variety to suit anyone's needs. Moved my Mother here a few months ago. Trish was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the process. I am truly grateful for this as it was not an easy life event. The entire staff has been nothing but welcoming and my Mother has as much or as little help as she needs on a daily basis. I went from worrying daily for her safety to feeling at ease, knowing she is safe and cared for at all times. Special thanks to Trish who is ALWAYS available and upbeat and energetic; Frank who has gone above and beyond assisting my Mother by driving her to Doctors' appointments when necessary; Evelyn and all the aides for spreading joy and handling ANYTHING thrown their way; the ladies at reception for a warm welcome; the list goes on. Aside from all this, The Bristal at Waldwick is immaculate and essentially brand new construction. It's like walking into a high-end apt. complex/high-end hotel. They also do a great job of planning activities for residents, but there's no pressure to participate. All in all, my Mother and our Family are extremely happy with the decision to choose this facility. I also feel that we have a voice to provide feedback along the way and it is heard. Don't hesitate to tour the facility and see if it may be a good fit for you or your loved ones!! I know that first step is daunting, but you'll be put at ease immediately.

The Bristal in Waldwick is like a 5 star hotel. Service by every member of the staff that we interacted with has been superb. Nothing is left for chance, follow ups are great, aides are wonderful and caring, food is first class, housekeeping is very efficient. If you have a relative that needs assisted living, this is the place to be. Trish Biondi the Community relations manager is exceptional. She is so good at explaining the facility, how the staff works, and how your loved one will be attended to. She made the process so simple and is always available for any help that you need before, during and after the admission.

This place is amazing. My mother in law is here and she loves it. The maintenance guy Milbert is there when needed with no questions asked. The housekeeper Isaiah keeps the place spotless. My mother in law and I have never had any uncleanliness issues, always spot on. Last but not least the executive director Brian is great. He constantly checks on my mother in law making sure she’s comfortable. Not only does he do that with her but I occasionally see him checking on other residents in there. I would always and have recommended this place to many of my friends and co workers

They're very interested in getting new residents, so they leave out a lot of pertinent information about isolation upon entry, and their policies make no sense (e.g. must have negative pcr test to be admitted, then must isolate for 10-14 days anyway!). The rooms are very nice and the food is excellent and everyone is kind and caring, but the admissions process and isolation are very debilitating to a new resident.
