If you are looking for a facility for a family member that is compassionate and understanding during a challenging transition, look no further than Spring Oaks. My mom found herself in a position where due to having to apply for Medicaid was unable to stay at her previous facility. To say I was upset would have been an understatement. I called Spring Oaks and met with Jessica in February 2023. Jessica assured me that there would be a spot for my mother and went above and beyond assisting my family in the process for applying for Medicaid. Over the course of a year and a half, Jessica checked in regularly with me while we awaited Medicaid approval. I am happy to say when my mother was finally eligible, Jessica assisted in every step of the process and helped my mother make a smooth transition (including recommending reasonable movers) which alleviated a great deal of her anxiety. Janet (the nurse who evaluated mom was was kind and listened yet firm) which mom needed when explaining how Spring Oaks operates. On moving day, all of the staff we so welcoming and kind making a difficult life change much easier on my mom. The calendar is filled with activities in addition to giving the residents day to day autonomy if they choose to participate. I feel comfortable knowing my mom is residing at Spring Oaks and confident that her needs are and will continue to be met.

My mother is 56 years old with multiple sclerosis and my brother and I finally came to the hard conclusion she needs to be in an assisted living facility. After touring 20 facilities, we quickly knew Spring Oak was the place she had to be. The moment we both met Jess- we were instantly put at ease and confident our mother would be in great hands. She worked with us on literally everything! From pricing to paperwork to setting up her TV- even putting up her shower curtains for her to save us the trip! Jess is the absolute best and we cannot say enough good things about Spring Oak, Jess and her team. Our mother is having an absolute blast and we wish we would have moved her in sooner!

Choosing to move my mom from my home to memory care due to dementia was a very difficult decision. My mom was not necessarily on board with it right away, which made the decision even harder. After many recommendations and multiple tours Spring Oak was our number one pick. Jessica Ott was amazing and made the whole process as easy as possible. My mom was having a lot of anxiety leading up to moving in but from the moment we got there she felt so welcome and at ease. She loves her room and the food. The staff have all been so attentive and kind, she raves about everyone there and how great they are. Thank you to everyone there for making my mom feel at home.

Spring Oak is the new home for both my parents who have memories issues and aliments that needed full time attention to keep them healthy and safe. Jessica Ott was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She went above and beyond as a manger to help assist us in any way she could to make sure that my folks transition went as smooth as possible. Everyone there is friendly and accommodating. The whole staff from the front desk-nurse- activities director to the chef, are driven by the desire to help both the extended family and their loved one's experience better lives. I can call anytime during the day or night to check on either of my parents, which brings calm to me and my family. They assist you in whatever questions you may need answered. There are fun actives and field trips posted daily to keep my folks cognitively active. There is even a vegetable garden which brings joy to my mom. It feels like home. I respectively recommend Spring Oak to any one considering placing their loved here.

Ask my 86 year old Aunt about moving to Spring Oak from her assisted living in Dallas, TX and she will swear her life has been saved. The Team at Spring Oak were the Angels to orchestrate this miracle - Jessica and Janet especially - including coordinating the application process, getting her setup in a beautiful respite apartment, feeling welcome in the community, special attention when needed, and into a perfect permanent resident room when all her things arrived. Spring Oak is a special place because of the amazing staff and nice residents, and I have been consistently impressed with the sense of community that's built around a unique quiet location, cohesive building design, and fun activities. I sincerely review with 5 stars not just because my Aunt is finally here now in NJ with our family, but because she truly has a new lease on Life!

My Mother- in-law needed a new place to live and Spring Oaks was the first and last place I called! The first person I spoke with was Jessica Ott. She was not only kind, caring, and respectful but very knowledgeable. She answered all our questions and assisted us along the way with paperwork, and concerns. Jessica has been of great help to our entire family. Her positive attitude and gentle demeanor really put our minds at ease during this stressful time! My family had positive experiences with Spring Oak when my grandma lived there. We found the staff in both the assisted living and memory units to be very helpful. We were all so grateful to the staff for their thoughtfulness and kindness during Grandma's final years.

My experience with Spring Oak has been almost 100% positive. Our Mom moved into Assisted Living in August of 2018 and has recently had to move into Bridges memory unit. Every department has exceeded our expectations and my mother has had a wonderful 3 years living there. As her health and mental acuity have declined, the staff has stepped up and guided us every step of the way. We couldn't ask for more and hope she is able to spend the rest of her days in the place she calls home.

The staff seem very caring and kind. My dad seemed at ease during his stay in Memory Care. The staff have been very supportive of my mom in making the transition to Independent Living after Dad's passing. Her apartment is very nice and there are daily activities for her to choose from. The library is a very pleasant place to spend time and has a piano that someone plays in the afternoons. Mom has not always liked the food that is served but there are always choices.

My husband's mother-in-law from his first marriage has been at Spring Oak for almost 2 months and we're very happy with this facility. Her room was not quite ready when we initially moved her in, but our requests were immediately addressed. Her room is very large with 2 large closets and a bargain for the monthly charge. The staff is very caring and very helpful. Mom has commented several times on how much she likes her aides and the nurses. We are very happy with how well Mom has adjusted.

The Spring Oak at Toms River was a very nice facility, but it was too big. When I went in to take a tour, I couldn't even find the elevator. It was too much going on for my mother I wanted some place smaller and easier to get around.

I am happy with the care that my mother is getting here. The staff are really nice and caring. She is trying to adjust to a few small things. She seems to be happy with the meals and the variety. The activities are offered to her and try and encourage her. She does participate often. . We would recommend the community for the value and the care to other families.
