Vendor Review: Brandywine Living at Princeton I recently had the opportunity to provide massage chair services for the staff at Brandywine Living at Princeton and a folk music performance for the residents. Both events were a pleasure to be part of. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, organized, and genuinely kind. The energy throughout the community was positive and inviting. Executive Director Melissa Mutti and Director of Living and Enrichment, Rachel Lessing, made sure I had everything I needed. Their attention to detail and thoughtful coordination allowed me to focus fully on delivering a meaningful experience. It’s clear their leadership plays a big role in shaping the warm and professional atmosphere. I’d gladly return anytime.

During my recent tour of Brandywine Living Serenade at Princeton, I was highly impressed by the attentive and friendly team. The facilities were immaculate and up-to-date, creating a comfortable atmosphere. The variety of activities available ensures residents stay engaged and active. I was also pleased to see the emphasis on nutritious, tasty meals prepared by Mariva, the Director of Culinary Experience. The management's dedication to keeping families informed is a great reassurance. Overall, Shanna and her team excel in providing a caring and supportive environment.

The Reflections community (memory care) is far superior to any memory care facility that we have researched in New Jersey. With 12 being the maximum number of residents in Reflections, each resident receives personalized care and is offered the opportunity to participate in all activities offered by Serenade for assisted living residents, as well as memory care residents. A huge plus is, unlike other memory care facilities, there is a piano in memory care as well as another piano in the lobby.

Thank you so much in all that each and everyone of you do for our Mom there. We couldn't be more thrilled that we chose Brandywine Seranade in Princeton for our Mom. She definitely is thriving there and that is what we had hoped for. She had made a great deal of friends, is involved in activities. Maintenance requests are answered quickly. We checked out many places before we chose this one and we loved quite a few Brandywine residences, but we chose this one for many reasons. Thank all of you from administration , dining, aides, nursing, housekeeping and maintenance for all that you do to make my mom feel at home and my family to feel at ease. It is extremely clean and and beautiful. You truly went above and beyond our expectations.

My Dad recently celebrated his 100th birthday with his Brandywine Serenade family! The staff here goes above and beyond to get to know each resident on a personal level and interact with their families. The Escapades activities team provides many daily opportunities for the residents to socialize and engage. The dining room staff, from the chef to the servers, provides a welcoming atmosphere for residents to enjoy delicious and nutritious meals. And, it's comforting to know the Wellness center is available if and when the residents need skilled nursing services.

I cannot say enough positive words about Brandywine Serenade Living. It has changed/saved our family's life. Like everyone in our shoes, we worried like crazy about putting our dear parents into an assisted living facility. It took my sister and I over a year to convince our parents to leave their home and make the big move - and the only thing we regret now is not having done it sooner. Mom is thriving there and absolutely loves it! Here's what we love most: The staff are EXEMPLARY. They authentically care and are some of the kindest, friendliest, respectful and most compassionate people we've ever met. Special shout-outs of gratitude to the 24/7 Nurses & Care Managers (Ilsa, Vishanti, Nicole, Shirley), to the front desk (Ernest, Libby, & Dale), to the kitchen staff (Janice), to the maintenance team (Mike), to Hospitality (Christine & Claudine) to the Administrative staff (Kristina, Casey, Hillary, Rachel, etc)...they are ALL top notch! From day one, my parents and my sister and I felt welcome and part of a family. While my father passed away a month after moving-in this past December, the care and support that the nurses and care managers provided during this scary time was unbelievable. I honestly don't know how we would have gotten thru it without them. They are our angels. The social life: I never realized how much social interaction was needed to improve cognitive function. But the difference is substantial. Musicians, happy hours, games, art classes, beach-ball bowling, conversations, daily exercise class, movies in the theater every night, themed parties, (etc) and best of all -- genuine SMILES in the hallways. It "feels" nice to visit as it's a beautiful place. It's brand new since the building was totally refurbished just last year. The apartments are so nice and the common areas are beautifully designed and decorated with brand new furniture and decorations. Needless to say, I no longer have a pit in my stomach from worry. I know Mom is in the best possible place. Thank you, Brandywine Serenade!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Brandywine Living Serenade at Princeton. My dad moved in six months ago and has been so happy. Every member of the staff has been welcoming, kind and professional - my dad has been treated with genuine care and respect. The environment is beautiful - from the movie theater to the pub to the gorgeous dining room with chef-prepared meals, plus numerous activities - it's all lovely. Each resident has his or her own apartment furnished with their own belongings, so it really feels like home. And knowing that there is a nurse available on site at all times gives us enormous peace of mind. I highly recommend the Serenade - it is everything we had hoped for and more.

Brandywine Serenade is a warm and welcoming environment. The location is convenient and tranquil and the traditional decor is well done. Hillery Murray and Casey were so very patient and professional in helping my mom transition. All the staff seem kind and courteous. I have especially enjoyed meeting Dale and Ernest at the front desk. The food is well prepared and she enjoys many of the films shown in the movie theater. The staff has assisted in helping residents get to know each other through a variety of activities and each time I have had questions or concerns, someone has gotten back to me promptly. My mom recently spoke with the Executive Director, Shanna to let her know she is happy she made the decision to live at Serenade and how wonderful the staff have been. "Ciara, lead care manager; Andrea, housekeeping ; Christina O, hospitality; Steve and Michael in maintenance and of course Dale and Ernest have been phenomenal!" The people make the place!

My Dad has been at Brandywine Living Serenade at Princeton since August 2022 and is very happy there. The staff are so friendly, kind and compassionate. We are always greeted with a smile. The building is beautiful inside and out. The rooms are decorated with warm colors and the lighting and safety features are well designed. Everything is clean and well maintained. He feels safe and well cared for here.

My 90 year old Dad has been at this facility for two years and we have found it to be clean, organized and well run with friendly and caring staff. The senior administration is exceptional and the daily care staff and nurses know my Dad well and are very responsive to his changing needs. Even through CO19 limitations, the groups activities are ongoing and provide just enough social stimulation. All meals are included in a lovely central dining room and the food is good! While an Assisted Living place is not as good as living with family, when that is not an option, Brandywine Princeton is a great alternative.

I LOVE Brandywine Living on Mt Lucas rd in Princeton They have been so Great with My family/friend Eva which she used to be in the Main living area But sadly when her Husband past away almost 1 yr ago this January they immediately helped us move her to the Memory care unit which made the transition so easy and She got extra TLC .. They love the residence and worked with us all during this Pandemic. I know they are even improving the surroundings and keeping us updated daily which is so helpful! Just can't wait to get back on a normal visiting schedule But at least I know Eva is Loved!! I Just Love Deanna. Elayne, Jose and their staff thank you Everyone

I need to place my husband in an assisted living facility as a respite stay as I went away on business. He recently just had a knee replacement and I could not leave him alone, he needed around-the-clock care. The administrative staff went above and beyond to make sure all of my needs were answered and that my husband would be in the best hands he came in for a 4-week respite and I must say he had absolutely zero complaints, as a younger man I was a little nervous to place him in an assisted living even if it was just for a short period of stay and he absolutely had a blast, from the wide range of activities to the excellent cooking done by the chefs in the building he will definitely be returning there again for his next surgery recuperation they also mentioned to me that they have a home care which I may be needing to utilize. All the staff there were very attentive of my husband's needs, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Found Acorn Glen when my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness and I needed to move her close to me quickly but knew I would not be able to provide the nursing care she needed on my own. They accepted her on a week's notice, gave her a comfortable and homey apartment, and looked after her medical needs; they allowed me to stay with her and to bring in the extra care she needed as her condition progressed. When my father faltered with Parkinson's disease two years later they took him into a homey apartment and allowed him to live as independently as he could while looking after his medical needs. As these changed they moved him to a new apartment where they could more closely observe him, and then once again to an apartment where they could always be close by as he needed them. When he took an acute turn they again allowed me to stay with him, and the aides and nurses cared for him with tears. My mother in law chose Acorn Glen as soon as it became apparent she needed help in case of falls and keeping up with the tasks of daily living. She managed her own medical care at all times since she was capable of that. She passed when she was ready with all her family close by in this cozy apartment near to our home. The aides and nurses that cared for her were the same ones that cared for my mother and my father, which says everything about job satisfaction and quality of care. This facility helped all three parents live with dignity and pass surrounded by love,
