They really understand the special needs of folks that have memory care needs. There are many different types of brain disorders and each requires special attention. The staff here addresses every resident based on their diagnosis, age, physical need, etc. No cookie cutters here. I entertain at numerous communities in NJ, and I can see that Artis has the right staff and focus to really help both the resident, family and friends. Even detail like the layout of the building reduces confusion. My mom had dementia. She was not local to Princeton, but if she was, she would have benefited from the care offered by Artis.

My Mother has been a resident at Artis for nearly 2 months now. She is happy, and thriving. She consistently states how much she likes it and how nice everyone is and I agree with her 100000%. From the moment you walk through the front door you are greeted with a smiling face, and a warm hello. The facility is very clean as is her room. The rooms do not feel like hospital rooms it’s an actual apartment as my mom would call it which makes her feel at home. Kelly, the director of life enrichment plans fun activities throughout the day that I have been able to join in as well during my visits. Having my Mom at Artis was the best decision. The activities staff are wonderful, the staff caring for my mother are patient, kind and delightful to be around. My mother is in the absolute best care and I couldn’t be more at ease and comforted knowing this. Clean facility, friendly staff, and a lot of activities to keep them active is exactly where I wanted her to be and we found it at Artis. We are very happy with the decision we made!

My sister was sick with Cancer and needed my help to find a Memory Care Community for my mom. I did not want to take over her role as POA because I knew it was important for her to feel good about being her POA at the end of her life. So as an Advisor it was important for me to find a Memory Care that would be a good fit. From my first call with Melanie I knew this Community would take great care of my Mom. One of my sister’s dying remarks to me was that she’s sorry she couldn’t do more for our Mom. I’ll never be able to fill her shoes. My sister passed and I’m now her POA. David the Executive Director has been great, and goes above and beyond. I know the business from working in the industry and I know how difficult it can be to meet family members needs. He is very responsive and I usually get an email right after I reach out to him. During my recent visit I observed how the care partners interact with the residents and I felt their warmth and caring attitudes. My father is happy at Artis. His care partners, Lergenie and Nicole have an innate ability to form strong compassionate connections with all of their residents, treating each one with the love, respect and attention they deserve. Their commitment to ensuring their safety and well-being are evident in everything they do. They advocate for their residents to make sure their voices are heard and their needs are met. Kelly, the events coordinator is absolutely exceptional. Her energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and it’s clear she loves what she does. Kelly truly cares about every resident she works with, always bringing optimism, fun, and a positive attitude to every event. No matter the task, she is always willing to lend a hand, even when it’s outside her responsibility. It’s rare to find caregivers so dedicated and passionate about their work.

The staff care about the residents and demonstrate their concern by being patient and understanding of their many special needs. I am particularly impressed by the many activities which keep everyone involved in meaningful ways and I can't think of a better Director of Artis Way Experience than Christine Mueller who is never without a smile and who follows up on each and every request for information. Artis's relatively new Executive Director, David Denenberg, has brought a new level of professionalism and involvement to Artis for which I am very grateful. I have noticed some significant improvements and level of involvement under his leadership which bodes well for the future of Artis Senior Living of Princeton Junction.

My first review (to be found in its entirety below) started this way - "While it has only been a bit over 2 weeks, I feel absolutely certain that I made the right decision in opting for Artis - Princeton Junction as the locus of my wife’s care. I am equally sure that more time will only secure that certainty." After nearly 2 years, I can say that has proved true. I would write the same thing, now (I AM writing the same thing, now!). Much of the original staff has moved on, but their replacements are as good, or better. The care partners are wonderful. I owe them an enormous debt for their continuing kind treatment of my wife (and ME). It's a difficult job they do with great patience and compassion. Certainly, some come to my mind quickly, but for fear of leaving out any, I will not name names - ALL of the care partners deserve a mention for their dedication. Everyone else on the team is just as good. If I need answers, I get them. If there is something to address, they listen. My relationship with everyone is friendly and open. My wife, though much debilitated as this condition runs to its inevitable conclusion, remains happy. She feels safe and cared for, and her beaming smile tells me she likes the way she is treated. That's as much as I can ask for, and I thank the Artis of Princeton staff for all they have done to make that so. 1st review: While it has only been a bit over 2 weeks, I feel absolutely certain that I made the right decision in opting for Artis - Princeton Junction as the locus of my wife’s care. Today, Artis Princeton Junction celebrated their first annual Brunch-Giving. Over 50 family members and guests attended and enjoyed a fabulous meal prepared by our outstanding culinary team. The Brunch featured a prime rib carving station, an omelet station, quiches, turkey, assorted pies and cheesecakes. Thank you Tommy, Jeff and Richard! I am so grateful for our entire team; everyone chipped in to make sure our guests were served and all residents participated in the event. I am proud to be part of this dedicated team and share their passion to create moments of joy for our residents and families.

All of the care partners at Artis are wonderful, but I'd particularly like to thank Shellon and Isha, who helped me with making my husband's transition into living at Artis as easy and stress-free as it could have been. They have been a godsend to both of us.

Artis has a truly skilled and loving staff that welcomed residents and their families to amazing gatherings and events. Between the major events there are daily and weekly scheduled activities like flower arrangements, memory games and puzzles to retain skills, and religious gatherings like mass or Sabbath/Shabbat. This place is especially inclusive to all cultures races and backgrounds. When we joined in May, my mother-in-law was apprehensive to change. In 6 months she's settled in and enjoys the routine. She's always been a schedule oriented person as a retired teacher, so the amount of indoor and outdoor activity is crucial. Local to Princeton University, we travel a short distance by car. I take her to walk the campus which is free to the public. Parking is free on weekends as well. Depending on the level of care your loved ones need, Artis always has a plan and the dedicated team it takes to act out the plan. Things change, so does the team, but the mission stays strong. Of all the places we looked at, Artis of Princeton Junction was by far the most diverse with many loving caring residents and care takers alike. Take a tour and read the literature. Take part in a wonderful place for your family to spend their golden years, no matter their level of need.

Even though my husband became too ill to live at Artis, the Artis staff have been extraordinarily helpful. They stayed in touch with our family and provided excellent referrals for services for him. One of the places they recommended worked very well for us, with really superior staff.

From the minute my mother transitioned to Artis, the care team has been professional and caring beyond my expectations. My husband, who suffers from younger onset Alzheimer’s Disease, moved into Artis 7 months ago. We were looking for an environment that would offer him human interaction and quality activities to occupy his time. Artis has a phenomenal Activities Director, Paige, who comes up with creative and fun ideas for the residents that are appropriate for their cognitive levels. My husband, who still retains his competitive spirit, was beaming over his victory in the piata challenge! The staff is warm and I am always amazed that everyone seems to know each resident by name. I feel like my husband is treated with respect and dignity and that the staff cares about him as an individual. AD is a horrendous illness, but we are fortunate to have a facility like Artis in our community.

My Dad has been living at Artis Princeton Junction for a month and a half now and we couldn't be happier with the experience. There are many assisted living communities out there. However, to find one who only deal with memory care patients and offer the highest caliber of care that Artis does, is not easy. They are the perfect solution for our situation. The nurses, the director, the office staff, the chef, the visiting specialists, and everyone who works there are knowledgeable, compassionate, patient, and hard-working. The building itself was designed by a family who own a chain of hotels so the community has an airy, relaxed, resort-like atmosphere. My whole family is so grateful that we found Artis of Princeton Junction.

I am a Patient Advocate and have been working with Artis of Princeton for several months now. I have found that the entire staff has been welcoming, informative and empathetic to my client's needs. It is a very difficult decision to place a loved one in a community and this team makes every effort to acknowledge that everyone is different and has different needs. Had a really nice tour of Artis this afternoon. As an elder law firm in Princeton, we are always looking for good recommendations of long term care facilities in the area for our elderly clients. It was a very difficult decision to have our mom stay an hour away at the Princeton location while we wait for the Brick location to open. It was the best and smartest move we made for moms care! They have taken care of her, keeping her comfortable and busy with all types of activities . Employees from administrative , front desk and aids are caring and always helpful and understanding with with concerns!

We moved my mother from another local memory care facility and are extremely happy with our decision. The facility is state-of-the-art with multiple communities to provide plenty of room for her to move and routine access to a lovely backyard and screened-in porch. Meals are an important time of the day and include table cloths, multiple meal choices and quality food, a welcome change from our previous experience. The caregivers have been great, amply staffed and speak understandable English, an essential requirement for my mother's condition.
