Staff is very nice. But the leadership only cares about the money. They will try to force you into their nursing care facility . Not a place I would send my family member again. Their director is heartless.

The staff in assisted living were great. But make sure you get a tour of their nursing unit which is horrible. Double occupancy, old bathroom with no sink and hidden off in the back. Our experience is that when you age they will force you out of your room into nursing care or kick you out. No Age in place in your room. They kicked my Mom out to die at another facility because she refused to go to their nursing care. She was afraid of the aids over there after suffering in the place previous. For this reason I would never recommend them. It’s the leadership that is in it for the money.

I recently moved my mother into assisted living at the United Methodist Community in Pitman, NJ. The decision to move her there was tough for me, but they have helped me transition her there. EVERY member of the staff has been so helpful and kind. The facilities are clean and well kept. My mother is loving the various activities that are available to the residents. I'm able to leave after my visit knowing she is receiving the best care. UMC, you are the best!

An absolutely wonderful place! Every single person is kind, caring and eager to help you with anything you need. My husband has been in other rehab facilities but United Methodist Communities puts them to shame. He receives constant attention and if he needs any help, someone responds immediately. I can't end this review without mentioning the delicious food. Every meal is equal to a fine restaurant...and the desserts are amazing! If you're looking for a rehab facility for a family member, I highly recommend you call United Methodist Communities.

My mother has been at the Pitman home for almost 9 years. There have been many changes since she first arrived, but overall we still feel she is in an very good facility. The staff excels at knowing the residents by name and most are very friendly and concerned. My mother has lost her eyesight in the last 3 years and it was the staff who determined she should move to the first floor. She was afraid to use the elevator and had become more room bound. Now she can get to meals, programs and the med room by herself. We are grateful for the care she receives.

This summer my husband was a patient in 3 different areas of Pitman Manor - rehab therapy after a stroke, assisted living and nursing care. He could not have been in a better place in every area. The people who work there are so caring and friendly. It's not just a job to them. My husband enjoyed the food where he dined with other patients and the activities which allowed for social interaction with other patients, staff and family. Pitman Manor has such wonderful care for its residents and a warm and homey feeling that I would recommend It to anyone.

Our Mother was a resident at UMC Memory Support for over three years. The staff treated her like she was their own Mother! They went above and beyond with their compassion and care- and truly loved her. We cannot express how much we appreciate UMC at Pitman. The MSR staff is incredible!

From the time we walked in to get information about the community, Alice was there to guide us every step of the way. The day he moved in was made as easy as possible & all of the staff was so cheerful & kind. It amazes me to see the staff in action. You never hear its not my job. If they cant help, they immediately get the right person that can. Every staff member knows every residents name & treats them with the utmost respect. I wish I knew the names of the wonderful people dads come in contact with. The Social Worker, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Nurses & Aides are awesome! Dad says the food is very good & the waitstaff, chef, & Dietary Supervisor take great care to make sure the residents are well fed & happy with the food. His room is spacious & well lit. The bathroom is so big & has plenty of safety features. Maintenance even hung all of his pictures for him! Dads only been there a week & feels right at home. A special Thank-You to Alice & the sweet Social Worker who patiently answered many questions & requests for help. Its so nice to be greeted by receptionists who are so knowledgeable pleasant. Its a great comfort to us to know there is always someone looking out for dad. Its relieved our minds to know hes safe & happy. We visit dad often & as Alice said, we can get back to being family instead of caretakers.

We are actually neighbors. Our backyard connects to your parking lot. Seem to be a nice peaceful place. Sometimes we wonder if we could volunteer a couple hours a week. I am a Registered Nurse Certified in Psychiatric Nursing. My husband used to work as a CNA & a HHA.

Mom has lived at Pitman Manor for seven years; first in assisted living and has since transitioned to the Memory Support Unit. When she went from living alone to having the support provided by the,caring staff at the Manor my family was able to rest easy. In these 7 years the staff has been there to support mom and her whole family in times of grief and in celebrations. The business department has happily directed me with financial needs and questions. I am thrilled with the care mom gets and proud that she calls Pitman Manor her home.

Pitman Manor has the friendliest staff! Everyone says hello in passing or talks to you in the elevator. My mom has a nice size private room, reasonably priced! If something needs to be looked at, the Maintenance people are on top of it. When I go to visit and it's getting close to meal time, my mom kicks me out, she does not want to be late! They have a lot of items on the menu and she gets a lot of vegetables wither meal.

I have visited many times and this facility is one of the best. I know that they offer a lot of activities for the residents. My sweet daughter Carol Slickmeyer is one of the team members I know she does a wonderful job she is a great employee.
