My husband and I are grateful every day for Juniper Village. My mother-in-law has been a resident of the memory care unit there since 2021. She is happier and healthier there than she has been in decades. She tells us several times a week that "I am glad I am living here." The staff treats the residents and the family members with respect and caring. There are tons of activities for the residents of the assisted living part of Juniper, and they include the memory care residents in nearly all of those activities. I am constantly amazed at all the hard work and love that the staff puts into making life good for the residents. Thank you Juniper Village at Paramus.

After a rocky start of health issues, a hospital stay & rehab stay my Mom finally moved into Juniper Village at Paramus 5 months ago. So far it's been an excellent experience, she's happy, well cared for, caregivers, nurses, med techs are all very attentive to her needs and my requests. A few people really stand out to me. Katheryn Martin was incredibly helpful with the process, she explained everything thoroughly. I left our initial meeting very impressed, she took me on a tour of the facility, she knew every residents name, warmly greeted them, by their reactions you could tell she genuinely cares for all the residents and they adore her. My questions and concerns were fully answered, she made me feel so at ease I knew this was the best place for my Mom. Katheryn also went out of her way to keep an eye on her to make sure she was adjusting, she didn't have to text me pictures of Mom at activities, or a quick, "visited your Mom today, she's doing great" text, she really cares about her residents and their families. Debbie the Nurse runs a tight ship, nothing slips past her, medications, diets, health concerns, if something's off she knows right away and handles it. My Mom's health has dramatically improved since being in her care. The caregivers are very attentive, I like that they have the same residents every day so they get to know them and can alert nursing if something's not right. My Mom always says how nice they all are and they come right away if she needs help. Overall the community is upbeat, well kept, super clean, it has a very warm, home like atmosphere, the apartments are a good size, and many have been recently renovated. It's very easy to navigate, even for seniors with memory issues, you really can't get lost. It's one of the few communities in the area with a memory care unit so seniors can truly age in place without the stress of moving. It's minutes away from Valley Hospital and not far from Hackensack or Englewood Hospitals which also was a huge deciding factor for me. Thank you Juniper Village for taking such good care of my Mom.

My mother is happy living at Juniper Paramus! I am very pleased with their staff who I feel truly get to know the residents and care. In particular I have had very positive experiences with the nursing team. My mother enjoys the varied activities - a big change made since Juniper took over the management. Also, my inquiries are met with timely and thorough responses. After witnessing the transition of this space from the previous Brookdale to Juniper, and given my frequent visits I report that I highly recommend visiting Juniper if you are looking for an ALF for your loved one.

So nice in every way I could imagine. The staff, the building and grounds, the residents…everyone who we encountered made my mother’s transition into assisted living so much smoother. One name stands out, however and that is Katheryn Martin. She was available at any given moment to take care of any bump in the road with paperwork and all of the required steps we needed to cover to make it happen. She knows every answer to every problem or question we encountered along the way and she is extremely involved in every aspect of what happens day-to-day. A valuable asset to Juniper. Bravo to all.

My father has been at Juniper for several months now. If you are reading this for yourself or your own loved ones, I’m sure is a hard decision for any family to make. That said. I have been so relieved with the quality, coordination, attentiveness, and genuine care the staff at Juniper provides. My father is enjoying his life at Juniper, is more physical, social and ambulatory than before. He has more connections, has activities and that lets me rest easy knowing he is stimulated happy, and listens to. Katheryn has been so incredible and keeping my family in touch with his growth and his growing friendships. These types of chapters in life are intense and hard but this staff makes it worth it. Thank you for caring for my father and so many others.

Moved mom in about 2 months ago. Bit of an adjustment for her but the staff has been responsive, caring and accommodating. The recreation and activities they provide are varied and interesting for all tastes. The facility is beautiful and her studio apartment is perfect. I already told my kids they can put me there when the time comes!

My dad has been at Juniper Village for several months now, and I couldn't be happier with the community and experience. The staff are wonderful and attentive to his needs and every question we've had throughout the process. The community is very well maintained, there are a wide array of activities that my Dad has started engaging in, and his health and safety are paramount. My father arrived in a wheelchair and his physical therapist Stephanie has been fantastic and gives me updates on his status as he moves towards walking again. Kat one of the Directors at Juniper has also stayed in touch with my family and answers any questions we've brought to her thus far. The decision of putting my Dad into a assisted living community was big and scary, but my experience with Juniper Village has made me feel like we've made the right choice for him and my family

We are so glad to have found Juniper Village to be my mother’s new home. After visiting quite a few places around the area, we felt confident that Juniper would be a great fit for her lifestyle. At first as was expected, my mother had trouble adjusting to her new surroundings, but within a few weeks, she was already finding her way around and loving the friendly staff and the amazing array of activities that they provide the residents with every day. She has told me that she loves spending her day around the dining room/common areas and is enjoying the activities and the company of the residents. She says that it feels like a big family! Those words were very comforting!! We just want to thank everyone at Juniper for doing such an amazing job to make the transition to assisted living as smooth as possible.

My father-in-law has been here for 3 months. I will be very honest. In the beginning, it was hard for all of us. With him saying he is going home in a week and us feeling guilty and wondering if we were doing the right thing for him. Well, by the end of the first month, I must say we were positive that this was the best place for him. As for him, he couldn't stop saying what a lovely place this is and how wonderful and friendly the staff are. We were amazed how fast the staff knew his name and how they would get him involved in the many activities that they have during the day. His favorite is when they have musicians or singers come in. There is always something good happening at Juniper for the residents. The place itself is beautiful and clean. They keep the rooms well cleaned and maintained and always make sure that my father-in-law is well taken care of. It's always hard in the beginning, but you will see it's a real good place that is 2nd to being home. We are very happy with Juniper and the lovely staff. A.Murphy

Mom was at the point where she couldnt live by herself or manage her own affairs anymore. I selected Juniper Village Paramus for their assisted living, and Ive been very happy with that choice. She immediately began receiving regular medical and psychological care, and they brought her depression and anxiety under control within a matter of weeks. The facility is bright and clean, and the management and staff are wonderful and responsive. There are plenty of activities to keep the residents occupied for most of the day, along with an on-site beauty salon. Mom is the happiest Ive seen her in many years, thanks to Juniper.

Juniper feels like home (or even a vacation). Nothing about it screams assisted living. Every time I walk in, the place is full of bustling happy seniors. Its so cute. Friendly people sitting out front, sitting by the piano, mingling in dining room. Really different feeling than the typical anxiety you get walking into a nursing home. Clean, smells great, fresh farm-to table food, friendly staff, (From Peters awesome vision and philosophy on aging with independence and optimism, to Linda who is AMAZING, Katie and Beritta in Nursing, Stephanie and Jill in therapy, Chelsea, Michele in recreation, even the front desk staff!) and beautiful spaces. And can I just say- it is so darn refreshing to deal with staff that does what they say they will!? It seems like such a small thing but to anyone with a loved one in a senior living-wow. People at Juniper do what they said they will! And they respond. *I want to thank therapist Stephanie Pires, the director of Rehab for trying everything she can (even getting creative!) to help my dad. I know with people like her he will try his best to make even the semblance of progress towards quality of life. She is a breath of fresh air compared to some of what I have seen-experienced. Just want to thank you. I feel like my Dad is surrounded by love. ❤

My Mom will be "celebrating" her second anniversary as a resident of Brookdale Paramus this Saturday 3/17/18. While I was impressed with everyone I met from Brookdale during my interview while I was considering having her live there, it turns out that her life now is even that much better than both she and I expected. Every single person employed there, from the Sales/Management personel right on through to the Nursing Staff, the Patient Aids and Custodial and Kitchen staff are kind, compassionate and generally concerned that residents are well looked after and content. I never ever have to worry about my Mom's well being again and you simply cannot put a price on that peace of mind.

I found the Brookdale staff to be very caring and attentive, especially in the Dementia section. Yes my mom's family are regular visitors, but whenever we stopped in, we found her doing well. The entire staff should be commended. Thanks Naren and EVERYONE ELSE.

As a nurse at Brookdale I can truly say the service we provide goes above and beyond our duties. Along with our exceptional Leaders we provide great care to our residents. My joy of going to Brookdale each day is when I enter the 2nd floor and smiling faces of the residents waiting to greet me. Some wanting to tell me about there night some just wanting to know who is the nurse on duty.
