My mother, currently 90 years old, lived with me for eight years after her Alzheimer’s-dementia diagnosis. When I made the painful decision to move her into a memory care residence, we had a *terrible* experience at another facility. My mom was, at the very least, neglected. She was practically thrown out after she exhibited behavioral issues, largely due to *severe* digestion/constipation problems that were never addressed effectively, if at all. The night she was transported to Millennium in Ocean Township, I was met (at midnight) by staff ready to sit and speak with me as long as necessary about my mom’s particular history. The physical issues that the prior residence was unable or unwilling to address in three weeks were corrected by John, Millennium’s Director of Operations, *within 24 hours* of my mom’s arrival. The difference between the facilities was like night and day. I am confident in the quality of care and attention my mom gets at Millennium-Ocean Township. She’s been there for 10 months now. The staffing has been consistent (which makes a huge difference, in my experience) and staff members have truly gotten to know and appreciate my mom as an individual despite her continual decline from this savage disease. Though the sadness remains with me, it is truly a comfort and relief that I am able to trust the care my mom receives. Particular kudos go to Kim, the current manager at the Ocean Township residence, who runs a tight ship, and John, who continues to keep an eye out for my mom. They are always prompt in their responses and communicate with me daily, if needed. They and their staff consistently balance heart with efficiency, doing what I’m sure is often a very difficult job. This journey has been difficult, often heartbreaking, but I am grateful that my mom and I found our way to Millennium-Ocean Township. In her current condition, I couldn’t expect better direct care than she receives there.

Through the years my family and I have had a lot of ups and downs dealing with facilities for my grandmother. After we found Millennium Memory Care all of our lives had changed for the better! Between the helpful staff and beautiful environment we couldn’t be happier, Grandma especially. This new transition was made easy, would recommend to anyone caring for a loved one!

Mom needed additional care so we moved her from an Independent Living facility to Millennium in Ocean. The Covid lockdowns at Independent Living accelerated her memory decline and Millennium is the perfect solution. Loshanda and her staff are Knowledgeable, Warm, Kind, Empathetic, and Loving. Mom gets the care she deserves and we get peace of mind knowing she is getting the best care possible. At Millennium Ocean you feel like family. Thank you Loshanda, you are The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello, I would like to leave a review regarding your Regional Nurse Manager who I found to be excellent. Every time I see my family member I seem to run into her and she is just fantastic. Very professional, very hands on and very willing to do anything to help in any way. It’s nice to see the addition to your company and I thank you for all you all do on a daily basis.

My step mother has been in the Ocean facility for about nine months. Rayna and her staff do an excellent job of caring for their residents. The place is always clean and my step mother is well cared for. There is an activities director who has a lot of patience and does a great job interacting with the residents.

Very happy with the care our mother is receiving at Millenium Memory Care at Ocean. They are very patient and knowledgable about patients that need memory care. After moving our mother 2 times before, we are so glad we found a place that will last! We are confiedent she is being well cared for. Even through the start of the recent pandemic, they took every precaution to ensure the safety of the residents is the priority!

We would like to thank the entire staff at the Ocean Millennium for their dedication toward the residents.When we arrive were always greeted with a smile which puts us at ease. Reyna, the manager, is in contact if something is needed or my aunt has a problem of any kind. Christine, the social coordinator, works really at engaging all the residents in many activities and she truly seems to care about them all. It is so comforting knowing my aunt is surrounded by this incredible caring staff.

My Aunt has been a resident of the Ocean Township house for 7 months and I couldnt be happier with the care provided by Rayna the house director and all of the staff. They are so caring and attentive to each individuals needs and desires. I really feel that my Aunt is safe and well cares for at Millenium. They host many fun events for the residents to keep them engaged. In these very difficult times of dealing with COVID-19 they have taken every pro caution possible and kept in contact with me via phone calls, phots and even FaceTime. I highly recommend Millenium Memory Care to anyone looking for exceptional care for their loved one.

My Great Aunt Donna P. will be 90 years old on February 2nd. She was diagnosed with dementia approximately 3 years ago. In July of this year the facility that she was at, which was an assisted living facility that also had a memory care side, informed us that they could no longer handle her as her behaviors were getting worse. We were told that we had to move her within the next month. My daughter is an occupational therapist and suggested that we look into Millennium Care in Ocean. We live in the same area and were looking for something that would be close enough that my elderly parents would still be able to visit her. When we went for the tour at Millennium Care ocean the first person that we encountered was Rayna, The manager of the home. She made us feel so at ease with the entire transition. Explained everything to us that they would do for our aunt and assured us that they specialized with dementia patients and their behaviors. Of course we were a little worried but we made the plans to move her the first week of August. I have to say that Rayna and her staff could not be more wonderful to both us and our aunt. Everyone is extremely pleasant and professional. They do keep in constant contact with us and let us know of any concerns that have come up. I have to say that I feel like our aunt is receiving much better care now in a smaller facility where they can handle the number of residents. My aunt seems very happy and doing very well. When she was at the other facility we were told that she could not feed herself. Since she is been at Millennium Care in ocean we are told that she feeds herself without a problem and eats everything they give her.we feel extremely comfortable and blessed to have found this facility and to have Rayna and her wonderfully trained staff taking care of our aunt. They even have gotten her out of her wheelchair and walking in a walker which she hasnt done in over 2 years! Thank you Thank you Thank you for a job well done. You truly do care about the individuals that you take care of and it shows.

Just wanted to commend the team at Millenium Memory Care in Ocean. We recently moved our mother who is a difficult Alzheimers case here after poor experiences in 2 other facilities and have been extremely happy with their approach and her care. The smaller number of residents allows them to provide a much more personalized care plan in a home like setting much different from our prior experiences. Would highly recommend.

My Aunt has been a resident since July and is thriving. Navigating a relocation during a pandemic without the ability to physically tour the property was a bit nerve wracking, however with video calls to tour the residence, meet with Rayna, the house manager, and to ask follow-up questions, the transition went smoothly. Rayna and the staff that I have come to know over the past 6 months are always polite and patient. Rayna is readily available to take my calls when I have a question and she sends updates and pictures. Arranging outdoor front porch visits when the weather was nice was also easily arranged and was always accommodating. My Aunt receives excellent support for her activities of daily living and she stays engaged with music and crafts. Its wonderful to see the residents outside enjoying the back porch during the nice weather. I look forward to being able to actually visit my aunt inside her new home when it is safe to have visitors, but Im grateful that my Aunt and her housemates are being kept safe.

Thank God for Millennium Memory Care! My mothers vascular dementia, exacerbated by the isolation caused by the COVID-19 quarantines, progressed to the point where other memory care facilities could not handle her behavioral issues. If not for Rayna and her marvelous staff at Millennium Memory Care at Ocean, I truly do not know what we would have done. They provide the personalized level of attention needed by the people in their care. It is truly a calling to do this kind of work, and our entire family is so grateful for all they do.

My loved one has been at Millennium Memory Care of Ocean since August of 2020. Rayna the manager has been very helpful. She has answered my questions and kept me updated every week. The staff is great! They have found a way to connect with my uncle and keep him smiling and active.
