I have been the Life Enrichment Director for about 2 years now.Marquis offers us some great resources to bring our residents innovative programming to ensure their engagement and quality of life. I have seen a lot of positive growth these past few months. Matt, the administrator is a great leader and always has a postive attitude! Chef Michael has elevated our food and the residents are really happy with the meals they are being served. The new DON Ginny is a wonderful leader . She is really hands on, knowledgeable and comforting to families. Grizsale, the admissions director, and I work with hospitals and community referral partners to host fun events for the staff and residents. Chanel, the director of Rehab is fun, encouraging and is really helping residents maintain their independence. I really encourage you or your loved one to come tour our facility. We are here to help you.

Since I admitted at SG, I've made some friends. Everyone was so nice, especially the nursing staff! Maureen and Nana are really exceptional. The Rehab team is great, my therapists Archie and Alyssa worked with me and helped me to gain my independence. The Life Enrichment Department has an array of different activities to enjoy and Gillian, the director, makes sure everyone is engaged and keeping active. I especially enjoyed crafts and jewelry making. The food is very good and Michael, the director, always made sure I had everything I needed. Matt, the administrator, was very responsive to any concerns we had. My husband and I were impressed with the stay.

Spring Grove has an administrator who is very hands on. He knows every resident, the families and staff. Matt is a leader who leads by example. The managers care and are very focused on customer service. The departments work well together. The staff are passionate and strive to be the best they can be. Thank you to all of you.

After being employed here for a short time, I find staff who work here are attentive and caring towards the residents, and they go above and beyond for the residents & show compassion. As a Life Enrichment Aide it warms my heart to see the residents excitement in activities and enjoyment on their faces.

I've been here at SG about 1 year for long term care and my experience has been a good one. Admissions director Grizsale, is very helpful in assisting with admission planning and ensuring you have a good stay. Alex, the business office, will assist you with financials and point you in the right direction. Social services assists with easy discharge planning. The life enrichment director,Gillian, is very active and the calendar has a variety of activities for all to enjoy. The front deck is my favorite place to go daily. It is so serene and lush with trees. The nursing staff is helpful and wants you to have a comfortable living experience. The rehab team is excellent in assisting with gaining back your independence. I would highly recommend you come tour the facility.

The Rehab team is EXCELLENT! Alyssa and Cedrick were always helpful. The life enrichment team always cheered me up! Michael, the chef and Dining Director always made sure I had everything I ordered. Asia, Chantale, Maureen, and Nana of the nursing department were all so good to me.

After being at Spring Grove for several years, I would like to take this opportunity to share my feelings about this facility. To say the least, I consider the staff here as my family. They work hard and are all very caring. Matt the administrator is doing a great job. Michael & his staff ensure the food is delectable! The housekeeping staff keeps the facility spic and span. The nurses and aides treat everyone with respect & dignity. Gillian, our Life Enrichment Director and her staff keep us engaged with fun & exciting activities throughout the day. When I do see the therapy team, they are certainly pleasant and working diligently to assist people back to the community. Alex, the business office manager is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it.

The nurses were great the aides some of them were wonderful and others were not. Always being short staffed is not easy which we realize but when you are dealing with people and there health care being short staffed is not acceptable. The food was awful and that is really unacceptable it's important that everyone gets a good hot meal when it is supposed to be hot. Overall I've been there 3 times in the past 4 years and this has been the worst.

During the day at spring grove was great beautiful loving caring staff .Also the kitchen team as well as Michael they were loving caring anything you wanted or needed they did not think twice. I want to thank Nurse Maureen, Nana,Jessica,Kia ,Mel,and Maria beautiful loving women who cared. Also I want to shout out two Cna Asia and Nikki they were amazing fun as hell too. The night shift was terrible you waited forever for some one to come I got in my chair went to see where the cans were they were sitting in the lounge room on the cellphones while there was lights on also very nasty when asked to do something. Night nurse Peter is lazy and walks with a cane also came to the nurse station at like 3am he had his feet up no shoes on watching tv on his cell, also to found another nurse sleeping .So yes mixed review just think twice about sending family here if you have no choice then do it but if you have a choice go somewhere please.ok thanks for reading my long post. Very pleasant facility! Gillian, the Life Enrichment director assisted me with getting my haircut at the beauty salon, and the hair dresser was great! They offer beauty salon services weekly which is so convenient! Michael, the food service director was very friendly and kind. Kenny, the unit manager was very attentive to me and listens. Steven from Rehab was very knowledgeable and caring! He treats everyone with much passion and respect! On the Nursing side: PA Judy Sun and Nurse Nana Meyers and Morin (?), Nurse-Aid Marie Author deserve 6-Star appreciation. Per-Diem Nurse Aid Lynsal is excellent in skill and attitude. The trio of giant AA male Nurse and Nurse Aids: Mark, Rufus, Olu are kind, attentive and strong--great for helping disabled patients out of and into bed. Unfortunately, for old styled female patients like me, I won't let them help me to the bathroom. So, FG should make sure there are female nurse-aids on the floor with them. A special acknowledgement is due Nurse-Aid Marie Author. She does night-shifts. Marie never speaks more than a few words but is always competent, attentive to details and does everything--as contrasts to many other nurse-aids who do the minimal and usually in a hurry to leave a patient with important and "promised" task undone. Marie checks on patient rooms often to make sure all is well and needs are met. She is constantly working diligently when on duty. I feel so much safer when Marie is on duty. Mr. Michael Curtis is the 7-Star manager at FG. He is hands on, active, and very kind, hardworking and attentive to all patients on all needs. Again, I must sing praises for Steven the PT. He is very knowledgeable, observant of patient movement details to come up with most beneficial institutions and excercises to each and all patients. He is attentive, cajoling and encouraging toward even the least motivated patients. By observing him helping these patients I learn excercises that can benefit me, too. OT Mary Bolswel and Loren? are outstanding. The trio AA male Nurse and NA: Mark, Rufus and Ula (?) are kind, likable and strong--excellent for helping out of bed and back in. But for a old-fashioned female patient, I do need a female NA to help me with going to the bathroom. Michael Curtis is an exemplary manager on all matters of patient needs. He is active, hands-on, working all the time to pay attention to patient needs and addressing them. The Social Worker Mark is very knowledgeable, cares about what's best for the patient, and very deligent, attentive and kind. There are areas and staff at SG that need serious improvement for patient safety. I will discuss these areas another time for SG's sake.

Recently, a family member stayed at Spring Grove. This has been mostly a positive experience. The nursing staff is very good & the PR staff are top notch! Per my family member, the food has been a pleasant & tasty surprise!

My Aunt recently had stayed at this center for rehab. The staff were friendly and attentive. Shout out to the nurses, cna's, therapist, and management. First stay a family member had that the director of nursing and administrator gave their cell phone numbers to contact them for updates or any concerns we may have had. And they were always accessible. Definitely will recommend to others. Thank you Spring grove Rehab!!

Michael Curtis the food service director is amazing !! He goes out of his way to make sure my mom gets the food she loves. Especially good Italian dishes !
