The Country Home – Reviews
Great facility. Workers really care about the residents, and get to know each of their personal needs, thoughts and individual personalities. Always contacts responsible family members regarding care decisions. In all, advocate for well-being of resident.
Very loving and caring staff. Pleasant place to work. Home like settings to make our residents feel as comfortable as possible. Just an all round good place with great people.
The country home is the most warmest and safest place to be. The workers at the country home is friendly, loving and caring. They do take the best to takr care of there residents, play, dance and have a conversation with them. The residents there may have dementia but you cannot tell, if you see them. They are always laughing, and making fun with each other. The staff at the country home tries their best to make the resident comfortable and feeled loved ❤️ . The staff try to give each and everyone of them their favorite snacks
As a nurse myself, I can’t say enough good things about the care my mom has received over the past 2 years at The Country Home. Jen is a fantastic leader, her staff is caring, compassionate and attentive to my mom’s needs. After every visit, our family has peace of mind knowing that mom is always in the right hands. We are beyond thankful to the owners for embracing my mom when she needed them the most. Keep up the great work and thank you for caring.
Please do your research before trusting them with your loved one. The current website listing the staff is incorrect. Steve was a major asset to country home, he retired and moved out of state several years ago. Most of the old staff left. I did not find the new management to be compassionate at all. The staff is overworked and under paid and there is not one RN employed there. My description of the care there is custodial and the memory care just means the doors are locked. The food given to my dad was poor, it definitely changed. Before my father passed away we had plans to relocate him. Their response time to his car and his last few weeks was horrendous!! The staff are informed and prepared for when tours are coming. I’ve also seen reviews on here done by their own staff and then one of them with a picture the name was completely different. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!
My mom has been at the Country Home for several years. The staff at the Country Home (and the other residents) have given my mom a new lease on life. When she entered the CH, her every day was a living nightmare. She woke up every day upset, anxious, and suffering from delusions that her (deceased) parents were in trouble and needed help or that my (decreased) father was holding her captive. For the first month or so, she suffered from similar delusions, but with the dedicated help of the staff at the Country Home, she slowing but surely became happy again. She became part of the community at the Country Home. She made friends and the caring staff helped her to find joy in her life. She still suffers from dementia. She still has delusions that lead her to believe things that are not true. However now, on most days, the delusions are about good things like her parents being alive and her wanting to throw an anniversary party for them. On the days when the delusions are bad, the staff help steer her back to a better place. She is almost always happy when we come to see her, which we do a couple of times a week since live close by. I will be forever indebted to the staff (and the other residents) for making it possible for my mom to happy life during this difficult stage of her life.
I have worked in this industry for the past 10 years and The Country Home is by far the best place to work. The way the staff treats our residents with compassion, care, dignity and respect is just out right amazing .The community is a dementia home but we all play an exquisite role every day. We are Mothers,Fathers, Daughters,Sons Aunty, Uncles, etc. At The Country Home we guarantee a safe, family oriented environment for our residents. The management team is reliable, responsible and respectful. Our Head Leader in charge(Jennifer) is by far the best Administrator to work with. The Love, compassion and commitment she gives is one in a million. The Country Home is a great place for your love ones and a great place to work.

This is the most caring and helpful facility I have ever seen. They really care for every person in their care and there is no neglect ever. They make the people feel like it is their home. The hard work by STEVE AND CRIS is greatly appreciated. The staff they have is wonderful.
The staff works so hard, the place is very clean, and the food looks and smells incredible.
If you are considering this facility for your loved one, your search has ended. Prior to entering The Country Home, my father had had a tremendously horrific year of loss, grief, and illness. He came to The Country Home in very rough shape, both physically and emotionally. When I placed him in TCH, I expected good physical and psychological care, both of which he gets. However, I did not expect that my father would flourish as much as he has. Beyond the basics, my dad is treated with love, respect, and dignity. He feels as though he is an important and needed member of this community. Even with Covid restrictions, necessary for health and safety reasons, the staff here have given him purpose and joy. As much as the times will allow, family involvement is encouraged. I sleep well at night, knowing my dad is well cared for and even adored at The Country Home. I wish the same for your loved one.
The Country Home is just perfect. My Mother gets the best care in a loving and supportive atmosphere. Im so glad we chose a place that is smaller and more individualized. My Mother deserves the best and at the Country Home she gets the best of everything . I would encourage anyone looking for a memory care community to begin their search at the Country Home .
I just moved my parents to The Country Home or I should say the staff at the home moved all of their furniture and belongings for us at no extra charge. We couldnt be more pleased with the wonderful care and loving support my parents receive. The Chef, Chris even makes sure Mom gets her special salad for her lunch. Dad loves all the food and has began to eat again. I sleep well knowing my parents are getting the best of memory care in such a nice place without breaking the bank. One place was going to charge us close to $25,000 per month for memory care. The Country Home charged us $10,000 for both mom and dad for even more individualized care.
I met and spoke with one of the staff recently and was very impressed with his genuine devotion to each resident and their needs. The staff are also very appreciated!
