My Father In Law is a newer resident and is adjusting quite well due to the professionalism and kindness of Kim the Administrator and her terrific staff. It is a lovely, homey environment where the residents seem to be comfortable and content because they are very well cared for.

Country Home is in a beautiful setting. My brother was here for over 3 years. The staff are kind and compassionate. They respectfully joke with the residents and they know how to make their environment enjoyable. My brother acclimated to this setting with their structured activities and the consistent schedule. They have music, art, Bingo, Trivia games, and other activities to keep residents engaged. He made good friends here, with residents and staff. It's hard to find the right place for someone you love with memory issues, but I did. It felt good knowing he was happy and well cared for at Country Home. I loved visiting him here because the staff were so welcoming and always wanting to do what they could to help my brother. I’m appreciative for all the hardworking staff and grateful they have chosen this profession.

Please do your research before trusting them with your loved one. The current website listing the staff is incorrect. Steve was a major asset to country home, he retired and moved out of state several years ago. Most of the old staff left. I did not find the new management to be compassionate at all. The staff is overworked and under paid and there is not one RN employed there. My description of the care there is custodial and the memory care just means the doors are locked. The food given to my dad was poor, it definitely changed. Before my father passed away we had plans to relocate him. Their response time to his car and his last few weeks was horrendous!! The staff are informed and prepared for when tours are coming. I’ve also seen reviews on here done by their own staff and then one of them with a picture the name was completely different. DO YOUR RESEARCH!!

The country home is the most warmest and safest place to be. The workers at the country home is friendly, loving and caring. They do take the best to takr care of there residents, play, dance and have a conversation with them. The residents there may have dementia but you cannot tell, if you see them. They are always laughing, and making fun with each other. The staff at the country home tries their best to make the resident comfortable and feeled loved . The staff try to give each and everyone of them their favorite snacks

My mom has been at the Country Home for several years. The staff at the Country Home (and the other residents) have given my mom a new lease on life. When she entered the CH, her every day was a living nightmare. She woke up every day upset, anxious, and suffering from delusions that her (deceased) parents were in trouble and needed help or that my (decreased) father was holding her captive. For the first month or so, she suffered from similar delusions, but with the dedicated help of the staff at the Country Home, she slowly but surely became happy again. She became part of the community at the Country Home. She made friends and the caring staff helped her to find joy in her life. She still suffers from dementia. She still has delusions that lead her to believe things that are not true. However now, on most days, the delusions are about good things like her parents being alive and her wanting to throw an anniversary party for them. On the days when the delusions are bad, the staff help steer her back to a better place. She is almost always happy when we come to see her, which we do a couple of times a week since live close by. I will be forever indebted to the staff (and the other residents) for making it possible for my mom to happy life during this difficult stage of her life.

As a nurse myself, I can’t say enough good things about the care my mom has received over the past 2 years at The Country Home. Jen is a fantastic leader, her staff is caring, compassionate and attentive to my mom’s needs. After every visit, our family has peace of mind knowing that mom is always in the right hands. We are beyond thankful to the owners for embracing my mom when she needed them the most. Keep up the great work and thank you for caring.

Needs updating! There idea of memory care is locking the doors!! Place has gone down hill. The staff has changed and they don’t have a lot of compassion or patience towards the seniors.

My father in law resides at Country Home. We don’t live in NJ so we do not get to visit often but my son does. He has been telling us that the place appears to be declining since the previous director has left. He has witnessed a change in my father in law and he is not very clean anymore. He said he also has been complaining to him about the food. I will be there to see him soon and I hope it gets better. It’s a very quaint place.

This is the most caring and helpful facility I have ever seen. They really care for every person in their care and there is no neglect ever. They make the people feel like it is their home. The hard work by STEVE AND CRIS is greatly appreciated. The staff they have is wonderful.

The Country Home is just perfect. My Mother gets the best care in a loving and supportive atmosphere. I'm so glad we chose a place that is smaller and more individualized. My Mother deserves the best and at the Country Home she gets the best of everything . I would encourage anyone looking for a memory care community to begin their search at the Country Home .
