This senior living facility is so welcoming and really feels like home. Eileen Oliveri, a sales representative, spent a considerable amount of time with us to ensure we understood all the care options and pricing. She also provided a very comprehensive tour which included meeting the team of nurses as well as stopping by the PT area to discuss therapy options. Eileen extended her availability to meet with us a second time to answer more questions and responded to our calls/emails immediately. She also has stopped in to visit and to make sure everything is going well. Lastly, from the moment you enter the facility, a friendly and warm greeting is ALWAYS provided by Joan. She is very ALWAYS helpful and ALWAYS willing to extend herself to ensure you get whatever you may need, consistently fostering a very comfortable environment. She is one of the most pleasant and kind staff members.

I would like to write to express my utmost satisfaction with the Brighton Gardens of Middletown (“BG”) assisted living facility. Since becoming a resident at BG over the summer of 2022, my mother has realized vast and noticeable improvements in her cognitive and physical abilities. Thanks to the highly friendly and attentive BG staff, she is now eating properly and on schedule, taking the correct medications at the correct times, attending to her overall physical appearance, and socializing with other residents. The aforementioned were not happening in recent years while she was living independently. Additionally, the onboarding Director will put your family at ease as your loved one makes the transition from independent living to assisted. Barbara will walk you through the process and available options regardless of your family’s situation. I could not be happier with my decision to make my mother a resident at BG and would highly recommend to those currently concerned about a loved one.

Throughout the seven years my mom lived at Brighton Gardens she was cared for and genuinely loved. She was able to make many good friends and enjoyed so many activities. Thank you Maria for making sure she showed up, despite her eye problems. I was always greeted with a friendly smile by Joanie who cared very much about the residents. She was their biggest advocate! There are so many people that touched our hearts. Thank you Director Christina. You are the brightest light and hardest worker who cared so much about the residents. The most amazing team of nurses, Raquel, Janine, and Mary. The medication nurses, especially Nancy and Tammy. Randy Lynne I will never forget how you hugged mom so tight when she returned from the hospital. You are so special! I can’t remember everyone but Mike for maintenance, Walter, Heidi and Mike from PT. All the caretakers especially Selma, Patty, Jessica, Georgette. I will forever be grateful to all of you for making mom‘s final years happy. She suffered from so many illnesses but remained friendly and positive. I will miss all of you. Susan Pauxtis

From the moment we walked into Brighton Gardens for our initial tour, we knew it was the perfect community for mom. As soon as you walk in the front door, you notice the décor, which is bright, airy and cheerful. Unlike other facilities we have experienced, that atmosphere continues throughout the facility and into the residential areas, including mom's room, which we outfitted and decorated with her own furnishings, to really 'make it home.' Between meals and activities, such as arts and crafts, Bingo, news and events, exercise and more, there is always something happening in the community, though mom's was always singing and dancing. When mom first arrived, we worried that she might decide to spend her time in her room watching TV. But every morning, she is anxious to get up, and go downstairs to take part in everything that was happening. But most of all, it is the people that make Brighton Gardens such an enjoyable experience. Mom is very good at making friends quickly and easily, and that's exactly what she did, with both residents and staff. And speaking of the staff, we couldn't have asked for a better group of people. Each and every one making mom feel welcome from her very first day. Care managers take it personally to get to know mom's needs, and fulfill those needs night and day. And the management staff too became not just the folks running the facility, but true friends to mom, recognizing her happiness is their happiness. Too many 'superlatives' about Brighton Gardens are racing through my mind to try and arrange them in any cohesive way. But, suffice it to say, for those who want peace of mind knowing their loved ones are being cared for in the most compassionate way, consider Brighton Gardens of Middletown.

We recently moved my parents to Brighton Gardens of Middletown (BG) due to their declining ability to care for themselves properly on a daily basis. While this was a difficult decision to make, we knew it was the right one at the right time. The initial process of viewing the facility and speaking with the representatives there was very smooth despite the COVID-19 restrictions. BG was very patient with us as we navigated the path to assisted living. Move in day was met with great ease and assistance from all team members at BG. The staff at BG is the backbone of the facility and have been nothing less than amazing. Knowing that my parents are being cared for in a loving manner and treated with dignity gives me great peace of mind.

We moved my brother in law into Brighton Gardens of MIddletown yesterday. His words on his first 24 hours there are its better than I dreamed it would be. Everyone we have met along the way has been extremely helpful and kind. What could be very stressful has been an extremely pleasant experience.

We moved our parents in about 1 month ago and we couldnt be happier. Our initital meeting with Amauris over zoom (because of covid) was so thorough and informative that we were drawn to her and the facility immediately. They are ALWAYS available to answer our questions and to resolve any concerns. We were so torn about moving them from their home but everyday there is something else that reassures us that this was the right community for them. The staff is so kind and caring and I know Mom and Dad are well taking care of.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, theres a nice, private visiting room complete with a lovely porch that makes you feel like youre at the beach. There are some nice gardens you can walk around in and the whole place is made to feel as homey as possible. The bedrooms feel like college dorms and the common areas are cozy and personable. Residents were engaged in lots of activities and staff seemed to know all of the elders.

My mother-in-law wasn't crazy about going into assisted living to begin with. The staff is really trying to get her involved in activities she interested in and are very supportive. The housekeeping comes in daily to empty trash cans and clean up and monthly for deep cleaning. We had lunch while visiting and the food was very good.My mother-in-law is an excellent cook and she likes the food too.We choose this community because of it's intimate, cozy atmosphere. We could picture her there and it is decorated in the style she likes. We felt it was better suited for her and it wouldn't be overwhelming.

I like this community for the care of my grandmother. The staff is very kind and helpful. The meals could use some small improvements. She is active with the other residents and that is good to know she is enjoying the activities that are offered. The community is clean and well maintained. I would recommend the care of this community to other families.

I would highly recommend this community. They keep the community very clean and well maintained. My mother in law always says the food is good and they take good care of me. She is doing better since moving into this community. The doctors there have helped with her Alzheimer's. I would like to see the staff use the residents names more often when interacting with them.
