My elderly parents had a major fire at their house and the people at CareOne in Livingston Assisted Living turned handsprings in order to take them in the next morning, including providing basic furnishings that don't usually come with a room. Our experiences have continued to be excellent. The staff are caring and kind, the building is attractive and smells good, the food is tasty and nutritious and the chef worked with me when my step-father was having problems with eating. Later the staff helped create a calm and peaceful atmosphere as he slipped out of this world. My mother's only complaint is that they serve her too much good food, and she is much happier at CareOne than she was during her last several months at her house. My own life is much more manageable now than when I was working so hard to keep my parents in their house. Highly recommended.

Let me start my review by saying I have high expectations for health care facilities and I dont give 5 star reviews easily. They have a new director, Matt Russo, who has implemented changes in the short period of time hes been there and he was brought in to raise the standard of care at CareOne. Kudos to Matt and his entire team for helping my dad who is not an easy patient at all. The nursing team was very attentive to his needs for the most part and more importantly they were responsive to me. Dana Mark, head of social work, couldnt have been more helpful with everything! Her compassion and get the job done mentality did not go unnoticed. Cathleen Ryan runs a terrific physical therapy program and have helped my dad with his walking tremendously. Lori Connell, director of admissions and Filipos Halaikis, community liaison were extremely helpful and pleasant from the start of this process a month ago. They were always accessible and went above and beyond to keep my dad and the family happy. Please reach out to me if you are thinking of sending a family member here - like I said, I dont give rave reviews out very easily but the team at CareOne deserves it.

I think tomorrow is my last day at this care facility, I hope I don't embarrass myself by crying. These wonderful people here have been beyond wonderful and caring here. I don't even know how to thank the tremendous staff here and the grounds and building are so elegant and beautiful. I have met people from all over the globe who were so kind,caring, polite and just loving. I still live with Mr. Bad Pain, but with the help of a beautiful caring medical team and strong determination, I know I am going to fight him off. Once again I am beyond grateful. <3 Thank You Care One, Livingston for all that you have done for me. <3

In this past year (2015) my wife, Rita and myself, have bounced around three different Assisted Living facilities and with our experience we can say, without reservations, this has been the BEST CareOne facility we have stayed at. It is exceptionally clean, most friendliest staff and the best meals of all places we have experienced. While this CareOne is a temporary stay for us, we are moving to one of the newest CareOne in Bridgewater (NJ), on Jan 2, 2016, which is closer to our relatives and doctors for the past 40+ years.
