My dad stayed on this facility in June 2023, I put 2 stars just because of the PT team. Other than that "Care None" does not deserve any additional rating. PT 4-5 stars therapists were amazing and really caring for the elderly Nurses/Aides- 0 Stars- they have attitude, not compassionate, not caring about a blind person Spanish speaker only needs, they were rude and nasty. The only nice there was the cleaning lady who used to go and check on my father from time to time.

In a day and age where many healthcare facilities are being strangled and crippled by employee shortages and staggering patient to nurse ratios, Care One at Livingston rose to the challenge. They did not allow anything to stand in the way of them giving my husband excellent care. My husband came into the facility close to midnight October 20th. He was greeted with a warm smile and bed. The next day, he was greeted by the director of Physical Therapy to evaluate him. Did I mention that it was on a Sunday? My husband was in a bad way, unable to even sit up on his own. He met him where he was and gave him encouraging words mingled with the facts about what the future would hold for him as far as therapy was concerned. We appreciated the time he took to explain everything to us. The doctors visited performing evaluations and assessing the situation always allowing for questions and clarification. They were always willing to go over test results to make sure that we had a clear understanding of what was going on. The nurses and CNA staff were an absolute treasure! They treated my husband with dignity. They were vigilant with his care. They constantly monitored everything from his weight and state of mind to his medication and urine. They left no stone unturned all the while maintaining a friendly disposition at times when I knew they were exhausted. Because of their consistent care, I was at peace if there was a day that I could not come to visit because I knew that he was being well cared for. It was more than just administering medication and taking BP's. Their bedside manner eased our fears and helped us to believe that everything would eventually be alright. The cleaning staff fluttered through the rooms making sure that everything was clean and sanitized taking care not to wake all that were asleep or carry on pleasantries as they cleaned that ended with "have a good day!" The chef, cafeteria staff and nutritionist/ dietician played a huge part in our day. Along with giving a weekly menu, they would do their best to meet his individual needs if they were not on the menu. They would even warm my meals whenever I asked without a scowl or a look of irritation. They would oftentimes ask how my husband was coming along. I thought that was nice. The director, social workers and office staff made everything come together for us in terms of our stay there. They advocated for us with insurance as well as transportation. They directed me as to who to call and what to ask to get the answers I needed. They were always a ready and willing resource that I was thankful for on many occasions. The physical therapy, and speech therapy staff was absolutely phenomenal! They were relentless in their pursuit to assist my husband in his recovery. Every day they would come into the room with a pleasant, yet determined demeanor that was contagious. It was a slow, hard and painful process. However, they never gave up and they never let us give up. My husband went from having difficulty breathing and pronouncing certain words to breathing effortlessly while pronouncing words correctly. He went from not even being able to lift his head from the pillow to walking out of the building. Not only did they help him pick his body up, they helped to encourage his spirit. We rolled through those doors on a stretcher October 20th and walked out bidding them farewell December 23rd. All praise to God for this facility and a heartfelt thank you to the staff for the best Christmas gift ever! We will never forget them and will continue to pray that God gives them the strength they need to do for others what was done for us.

Had a wonderful experience. Physical therapy group was very helpful and supportive. The aids (Especially Ms. Sharon) were a delight. She was very helpful in getting me to do things on my own. The nurses were very attentive and wound care nurse Ms. Libby was great!! I'll never forget the experience!!!

I truly recommend careone of Livingston and careone Rehab my husband Jeffrey Stern was a resident in the rehab and the assistant living after he came out of the hospital were he almost died from being overweight his starting weight was 500lbs and thanks to these places he lossed a total of 213 lbs they helped him with nutrition and weight loss they took great care of him and I came to visit him all the time did his laundry and linen for him sometimes they let me eat dinner here ty too the all the staff ty kirbee and Jeffrey stern hi ty to all the staff for saving his life The room was great and I had my own room ty all the staff in both love buildings love jeffrey stern and his wife Kirbee stern

This was a really nice experience and I'm grateful to have rehabbed here after a hospital stay. The building is well maintained and the residents really enjoy the community activities as I did. It is a very upscale looking, attractive facility. The staff has been very kind and helpful. It's overall a good situation. Doctors and Nurses are, of course, on hand whenever needed. Physical Therapy has been a game changer for me and my issues with spinal stenosis. I was taught core exercises that I will definitely do on a daily basis, since they, as well as using a walker properly, were very beneficial to me. If in the future I find myself in need of a nursing home, my search is already over and I will definitely refer friends and family here. Again, this has been a very good experience and a much needed one for me. Thanks to all. - Linda
