My Dad has been a resident for almost 5 years and has experienced being in every section as his level of care increased. During this time, I have gotten to know a lot of the staff in every department and I have been so impressed and amazed by how they interact and relate with each other and their residents, like one big family. Even the executive staff knows all of the residents by name and assists with their care. And, because the staff is so loving and respectful of each other and their residents it makes me feel like part of their family too.

I am new to the CareOne community having worked in the rehab setting for the past 3 years. I have dealt with a lot of discharge planning so I have become familiar with different Assisted Living communities. I have to say I am very impressed with CareOne Hamilton and how unique all their services are compared to other Assisted Livings in the area. They have the capabilities to care for ALL levels of care truly allowing all their residents to age in place while maintaining the best quality of life. The facility is not only aesthetically beautiful but so are the people who live and work here!

December 2020 update: Over 18 months later I wanted to update my review. I still feel that I made the right decision to have my family cared for by the wonderful staff of Care One. All thru the pandemic, families received regular email updates on the actions taken by the staff to keep the residents as safe as possible. Their quick and consistent actions resulted in very minimal positive cases. Since my elderly relative has been declining mentally, management contacted me and suggested she be moved to theIr memory section to help encourage her to maintain a quality of life. The staff packed up her belongings and furniture for a move across the facility. The staff opened the blinds so we could observe from outside and my relative felt relaxed that we were around. The office staff pitched in and set everything in place. I even observed the site administrator making the bed. Everyone pitched in and helped her feel happy and safe in her new room. I cant say enough good things about the facility and staff. I am still confident she is in the best place possible and given the personalized care she may not have been given in a much larger facility. 2019 POST: For full disclosure, I am not affiliated with Care One of Hamilton in any way. My review and comments are based on my interactions with staff since my family member became a resident in July. My aunt, who just turned 100 years old in February was severely struggling with living alone in her home of 70 years..a place she refused to leave. Early dementia, poor understanding-memory of medication regime, and basic home appliances was causing her to be unsafe. She eventually stopped cooking because the microwave was too complicated. Her health went down hill as she was not eating and refused to investigate food delivery programs. Every day I visited I thought would end with a trip to the hospital or worse. I called Care One and made an appointment with Cathy, Comunity Relations Director, to tour the facility. It was beyond my expectations...it resembled a hotel and not the look of a place old people go. Cathy was very kind and took a lot of time to answer our questions. We met Alyson, Exective Director, who gave me some great info for what needed to be done going forward. My aunt loved the room she would receive. After numerous phone calls and emails finalizing details she moved in to her new home within a month. Her first day she was greeted by Cathy who helped her settle in, nursing staff Keisha (so nice!) and the chef, all asking questions about her...making her feel special and cared about. This is NOT an exaggeration....Care One literally saved my aunts life. She is now in a safe secure environment, regular medication administration, nursing evals and most importantly she is eating 3 wonderful meals a day! She meets the girls for lunch, then sits outside or attends the daily afternoon social activities. She is thriving. Every staff member I have met is very kind and even with a hectic day are willing to take a minute to help or answer a question. Assisted Living is not inexpensive, but 2 months in I strongly feel we made the right decision in choosing Care One of Hamilton.

CareOne Hamilton partnered with Bancroft Neuro Rehab for vocational rehabilitation job assessments. Individuals within Bancroft were permitted to volunteer on site. The staff were supportive, friendly, knowledgeable and caring to both the Bancroft individuals and the residents. Noemi (Actvities) and Alyson (ED) were helpful, supportive and encouraging of the partnership and the individual participants. It is a beautiful community in which to work.

Hi Ladies, Please feel free to include my comments below for National Assisted Living Week. Honestly, I cant say enough about Care One at Hamilton - you are all so wonderful and we thank God for you! Kaminski Family My Mom has dementia and has been living at Care One at Hamilton for four months. My family and I cant say enough about the excellent care she is receiving by their professional staff, who truly care about the wellbeing of their residents. Their safety measures during COVID-19 are extensive, which ensures protection for residents, staff and visitors. Care One at Hamilton is beautifully decorated and very well maintained.; they also have a gorgeous courtyard for residents who like to spend time outdoors. My Mom participates in their many daily activities and raves about the delicious meals. Most importantly, she tells us how wonderfully the staff treats her and how special that makes her feel. If youre considering assisted living placement for a loved one, Care One at Hamilton is an excellent choice.

I had a great experience. They are a newly renovated facility. My father was there as a resident, and he did so great with their outpatient rehab, we were able to bring him home after a respite stay. The dining experience was delicious, and my dad is a picky eater. Its clean, smiling faces, and he typically stays in his room anywhere else, but he was at bingo the first day! If he ever needs to do respite again, I will bring him back.

I have to say this facility has definitely made changes for the better Food is beyond excellent My mom loves it The nursing staff has definitely changed for the best glad to see old ones go and new come one new nurse very attentive definitely cares smiling great addition Activities good but could be better I feel there are few activity staff so they could do 2 different activities at a time to give options more trip outing weekly would be great although staff very nice Executive Director is ultimate best she runs a great facility

My grandmother is here in memory care, and the care is excellent! Everyone on the staff is super friendly. We love the new outdoor living area, it is beautiful and so does she. My grandmother is thriving at Careone Hamilton and I couldn't ask for more for her.
