Its very challenging to drop your loved one off at a facility. Thankfully CM has made it easy. We are in constant communication re our moms care and feel confident that the staff is excellent. Nicole and Andrew prioritize and personalize the care of each resident. Our mom has shared that the meals are delicious, the place is immaculate and the staff is very friendly and reliable. We are thankful our mom is being well taken care of.

When we moved my Grandmother from Florida to NJ several years ago, we chose Colonial Manor for its location, homey feel, cleanliness and attentive staff. Nicole and staff are Angels on earth, always there when we needed direction or help. Everyone on site is friendly and willing to lend a hand, if needed. I never worried about my Grandmothers care and I knew that she was part of their family at Colonial Manor. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

Management is top notch the managers live at the facility and run the entire facility they are always there always present and very pleasant. Nicole brings out great love and kindness with an enormous sense of humor and contagious laugh. She is always having tours and getting phone calls and manages all of it. She helps everyone with everything from helping residents getting dressed to fixing the tv for our mom to putting lightbulbs in or putting the movie on in the theatre room shes always around to help out whenever need be. She has a heart of gold and her residents adore her. Her husband is very handy and they work side by side. He gets that beautiful lawn in tact and does the heavier work at the facility when things need to be fixed andrew and the maintenance get it done. Their maintenance is also too notch, simply tell nicole if something broke or needs to be looked at and she lets maintenance know and before you know it they are in and out with everything fixed. Their nurses are wonderful as they should be and know everything for their patients and are always very involved, the food has a wide variety and they have alternatives. The activities range day to day and the residents are very engaged in them. There is always something for the residents to do. This facility is above all with the excellent staff and kind hearts all around the atmosphere and not to mention the place is immaculate and smells great. Bentley the dog is a very well trained and beautiful boy and he lights up the place as well and follows nicole everywhere she is which is adorable. See colonial manor at panther valley for yourself. Nicole always answers the phone as she is the only one to do the job and like no other shes wonderful at it and makes our family very happy. She is very outgoing and smart and dedicated like no other. She is a very busy lady so I promise just like I had to if you leave a voicemail then she will always call back. When we go to visit she has 3 people on hold at the same time everybody loves her as they should. Her nurses are excellent as well and so are the nurses aides. They hands on care for their residents like family and nothing will beat that. Tour colonial manor at panther valley with nicole and move your loved one in, its the best decision we have ever made. I text nicole late at night and she always responds weekday or weekend the lady loves her families so you must see for yourself! If you read this entire review bless your soul I could go on forever.

I dont have enough positive things to say about Colonial Manor at Panther Valley. All of the staff from the managers, Nicole and Andrew, the nurses, Sweeta and Alexis, right down to Lucy the nice lady that cleans Moms room are wonderful. Nicole or someone on staff is always available and willing to help if I have any concerns. Moving my mother from her home was one of the most difficult decisions that I have had to make. I looked at many places with Mom and we both (although Mom not thrilled about leaving her home) decided Colonial Manor was our best option . The facility is always clean, smells great and they decorated beautifully for the holidays. Activities have been very limited because of Covid but I have been able to visit Mom safely since she has been there. Colonial Manor is definitely the next best thing to home, in fact it has become her home. Mom is happy, well cared for and I have peace of mind. Who can ask for more.

My 94 year old father is a resident at Colonial Manor in Hackettstown. The facility is immaculate and the staff members treat their residents like their own family! Specifically, Nicole Napolitano who is the on-site manager looks after my father on a daily basis making sure he is comfortable and keeps my sister and I informed of his overall well being. It is reassuring that my father who is a WW2 veteran is in such good hands at Colonial Manor! Thanks you Nicole!!

This is less of a facility and more like a home for you or your loved one. The staff is kind, helpful, and compassionate. They have regular and daily activities, a library, movie theater, dining room, and ballroom. It really is wonderful place.

Nicole is an absolute down to earth loving and very strong hearted woman when it comes to her vow to this facility. Absolute worthy tour. The facility is clean and smells great. The front desk is very kind. The residents are very close with Nicole, during my tour any resident has a nick name for Nicole and nicole has one as well. Nicole is very thorough in explaining the care my dad could get here. Their rent is the lowest you will find in this area for the high end care here. Nicole explains the contract to the last period of the 7 pages. Nicole has this demeanor that is very contagious with laughter and love. This is what my father needs. She does her business directly through her contract and it shows. You are given a contract when your loved one moves in. My friends mom lives there now and she absolutely loves it. The nurses are wonderful the nurse aides are amazing. She is very well taken care of. They go out of their way no matter what. My friends mom even said this is my home. Thank you for the wonderful tour and your love and care behind this facility.

My father was a resident at Colonial Manor for a short time. Most of the staff are friendly and hardworking, but the owner is frequently unresponsive. Nicole, rarely answers the phone, and sometimes I had to leave several voicemail messages, emails, and/or texts before getting a response. They do not perform daily services as promised, so the resident is not getting the services they’re paying for. I called over 100 facilities before placing my father at Colonial Manor. Colonial Manor was far less expensive than other facilities in the area. Sadly, now I know why. The level of care they offer is substandard as compared to similar places. I know my father would have done better in a facility where they actually provide the daily care that is promised, and that the resident is paying for. After my father died, we wanted to acknowledge the good work of the majority of staff, and also say thank you to the residents that were so kind to my father for the short time he was there. So we sent a large gift of individually wrapped cookies and brownies to the owner, asking that she share it with her staff and residents. The owner never even acknowledged our gift. In my opinion, this goes to her character. My understanding is that Nicole just recently took over this business from her parents. So it seems that she still has a lot to learn. But don’t sacrifice your elderly family member for her education. I felt badly for the residents there who didn’t have family members looking out for their care and wellbeing. Unfortunately, I cannot in good conscience recommend Colonial Manor at Panther Valley.

The excellence of my moms care at Colonial Manor are founded by the deeply committed owners and staff with treating my mom with dignity and respect. When placing my mom in an Assisted Living 1 1-2 years ago was one of the hardest decisions for our family. What eased the burden was finding the wonderful home that Colonial Manor created. There was just a peaceful calm about it, it was clean, and a cheerful and friendly atmosphere. The staff are the absolute best; Nicole manages the facility and is the sweetest and kindest person with a big heart for our loved ones as well as the staff. My mom loves them as well. Not only is the staff caring for those residents living there but for the their families as well. WE are all one big family at Colonial Manor. There are activities and events planned with continuous interaction with the residents. My moms ability to communicate and walk improved by the love given by Nicole and staff, as well as the important new friendships shes built with a several residents. It is so important for our loved ones to thrive in their golden ages and Colonial Manor puts all their residents well being mind, body and spirit first not money. During Covid-19 lockdown was the hardest, but I was always in communication with Nicole and I knew my mom was safe and healthy the entire time. Colonial Manor was continously spotless and sanitary like the first day I visited. Staff had PPE from the beginning and even residents if they chose to. Additional handmade masks were provided by few residents family members like me to help protect the staff and residents if needed. Even families sent in cards to the staff to let them know who were the true heroes during this difficult time to thank them for keeping our loved ones safe and secure. I highly recommend Colonial Manor to anyone who has difficult decision of placing a loved one in an Assisted Living. Colonial Manor makes it a home, where we are all welcome!

After careful review our family chose Colonial Manor Panther Valley for my 82 year old mother in law. She has just been there a couple of weeks but seems to be happy with her apartment. Anything she has needed the staff from Colonial Manor have taken care of promptly. Her neighbors seem to be very nice and friendly. Thank you "APlace for Mom" for the recommendation!

My mom is extremely happy there. She has a beautiful view from her living room. The countryside with ponds and a waterfall with ducks in is. She is in a beautiful area and she is 5 minutes from every store. The owners are really nice and they go above and beyond. She has her own apartment and the ladies are caring and she is happy with the activities, it keeps her busy. She has people to talk with and making friends. It was also the best price around, I looked for a year and A Place For Mom helped me find this place.
