My mom suffered some major health setbacks earlier this year, and can't be alone in recovery from it. Home Helpers has been spectacular since the first call. Our family was a bit nervous about a stranger taking care of mom, but Albertha has been incredible. She goes above and beyond in her care, and keeps us well informed of anything she notices with mom's progress. She's exceedingly skilled at her job, and is also so kind and personable that she's become a trusted companion. The sheer peace of mind and relief of knowing that someone we can trust is taking care of mom is worth every penny. The owner Howard and nurse Melissa also check in regularly with home visits and always show genuine care in mom's well being. They are always willing to work with us and our family is eternally grateful for their continued help.

We were anxious to meet Howard and start with our aide. He explained what our aides responsibilities would be and anything else we may need. Our next visiit was with Nurse Vivian who was thorough in making sure she understood my husbands needs, his disease and the treatment he was receiving from his drs.We cannot say enough about our aide Sharon! She is professional, insightful , knowledgeable and truly an angel. Sharon has tips for relieving his leg pain, makes sure she is updated on any medication changes, makes awesome protein shakes, enjoys hearing my husband's stories, taking him for walks, to drs office visits, and also to the lottery store! This allows me to go to work feeling comfortable knowing he is being taking care of so well by Sharon. I would highly recommend Home Helpers Home Care for your loved one. You certainly will be impressed by their professionalism and the care they take with their patients.

Thanks to Home Helpers of Monmouth County my 80 year old mother is on the road back to independent living. My mom broke her ankle and needed live in help while she recovered from the injury. Howard was great from the start, quick to answer my questions, consultative, honest, responsive, and flexible. Howard and staff were able to evaluate my moms needs while she was in rehab and had live in help waiting for my mom when she returned home. Rashene stayed with my mom for 8 weeks and was fantastic. Professional, caring, reliable, responsive, everything you would want someone to be, when caring for your mother. Mom has now transitioned to hourly care and Maddison has been equally professional and reliable with providing my mom care and transporting her to and from physical therapy. This is the second time we have used an agency to assist with care for my mom when recovering from an injury and the experience this time around with Home Helpers could not have been better. Thank you Howard, Rashene, and Maddison for allowing my mom to recover from her injury in the comfort of her own home and making a stressful time as manageable as possible.

My dad had a bad bout of delirium last month and refused to go to the hospital. I live in another state and could not immediately come up to care for him. Howard and Home Helpers came to rescue! He called in his team to clean the house up (it was a wreck), put food in the fridge, watch his meds, deal with his incontinence, and keep him from falling. Howard came daily himself, bringing food and keeping him company. He even met repairmen, and brought over a nurse. Today, dad is doing much better, and Home Helpers comes in a few hours a day to keep the house up and make sure hes safe and sound. They check in with me regularly to let me know how hes doing. Last week, Howard took him to get his vaccine. Its been a great relief to know there is someone there looking out for him. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Helpers to anyone looking for eldercare for a loved one.

This may be an unusual review as my Dad passed away the day before the home aide was scheduled to arrive. With that being said, the entire process of hiring a home aide with Home Helpers was the best experience I had, after having other experiences with hiring home aides. Home Helpers was recommended to me by our hospice social worker. Howard was extremely professional, compassionate and kept everyones best interests in mind. He was open and honest with all concerns. I felt relieved and secure that our experience would be a good one. I would definitely call upon Home Helpers again with any future needs.

I recently reached out to Howard Stein, owner of home Helpers Home Care in Freehold, to assist with a friend who needed home care. I called Howard on a Saturday and because the situation was urgent he agreed to come to the home the following day which of course was a Sunday. Unfortunately when I reached my friends house my friend did not answer the door. Howard could have left but he did not. I was able to get in the house and my friend was barely conscious and needed to be rushed to the hospital. Howard was by me every step of the way and was sincerely concerned about my friend. Howard called several days later to see how my friend was doing and offered assistance. My friend sadly passed away a week later and when I called to let Howard know, he was genuinely sympathetic. I would refer any member of my family, friend, or anyone I cared about to Howard and his Home Helpers Care. Although I lost my friend I gained a new one with Howard and am grateful.

Home Helpers truly a God sent!!!! I cant say enough about the owner Howard. This man works with his heart not his bottom line. I m a sixty one year old man. My Girlfriend and I take care of my 101 year old Mom. The both of us are in sales and work on commission. Friday and Sat are crucial day for us and We were unable to get help in the time slots we need, since the start of Covert.After reaching out to Home Helpers of Monmouth the owner went above and beyond to cover a very tricky and demanding schedule. Howard has done everything from Pick up and drop off his aids, to coming here personally. A service not offered. Howard went above and beyond to sit with my Mom till I got home one day. I was running very late and the aid had to leave. Most of all the staff has a great bedside manor which is so important. Thank you Howard and your whole staff!!

When a very close friend of my wifes reached out to us to help find Home Care for her father I immediately tagged Howard Stein of Home Helpers of Monmouth County to see what if anything they could do. Howard was in contact with our friend within the hour and met with her the next day to assess and discuss what could be done for her father. Howard was able to answer all of our friends questions and provide compassion, understanding and professionalism as if it was his own family member in need.
