This may be a long review, but necessary to share my gratitude to the staff at Mattison Crossing for helping us through an extremely stressful situation. My mother in law was at a senior living facility in Lakewood in Independent Living. She has dementia and almost overnight was no longer able to take care of herself. She was hospitalized and when she was ready to be released, she was unable to return to independent living. Her facility had a bed in memory care but told me it was a process and they wouldn’t be able to place her for 5-7 days. I was told things don’t happen overnight. I was told I had to hire 24 hour care until they were ready. A wonderful senior care advisor, whom I called for help, asked me to give her 5 minutes. And sure enough, 5 minutes later, Ruth from Mattison Crossing called me and told me she could help. She asked me to come down to the facility first to be sure we liked it. My husband and I went the next day and met Ruth and Giovanna. They were so caring and wonderful to us. Perfect strangers going over and above for us in an emergency situation while the facility she was in for 3 1/2 years couldn’t be bothered. We loved it and my MIL was welcomed there in less than 48 hours. Ruth was so kind and helpful to us to make this transition as easy as possible. We also met with Maria, the ED, who was also so kind and empathetic to our situation. And then there is Giovanna who is like an Angel that seems to appear every time we visit and I have questions and she always has solutions. She also visits my MIL just because which is so sweet. We met Esther, the director of Memory care who assured us my MIL would be very happy and well taken care of. And the day my MIL entered, we met Tiffany in memory care who immediately had aides come in to help her shower and dress and answered any questions we had. And then there is my MIL who every time we visit tells us she is so happy here. They get them out of their rooms everyday for activities, sitting outside in the sun, meals, and every time we are there they are passing out snacks. It is a wonderful place that I would recommend ’ and I am so thankful and can rest easy that she is in a caring and safe environment.

Mattison Crossing was recommended by someone whose father had lived there for a while and they were extremely pleased with the care he received. After visiting several facilities in the area, we decided that Mattison Crossing checked all the boxes of our desires and requirements. The facility has been recently renovated and very well maintained. They have a calendar of activities every week and transportation to local establishments so residents have plenty to do! Most importantly is the people that work at MC who provide a wonderful environment for the residents, giving their family’s great peace of mind. Moving anywhere is never an easy process, but the folks at MC were so accommodating and helpful. I can’t say enough about Giovanna. Her bubbly personality and compassion were paramount to helping my mom settle in. She went above and beyond nearly every day to make her feel comfortable and welcome. Not only was Giovanna there for her, but also very quickly responsive to any questions I had. She made it so easy to feel like she was a friend and not just someone who worked there. Ruth was invaluable during the entire process from the first tour to helping my mother settle in. Joe the concierge and the rest of the staff make visiting a pleasure. I’m so glad I made the decision to have my mother live at Mattison Crossing.

I love living at Mattison Crossing. Dana just joined activities a month ago and i have lived here for years. But she has been the perfect addition. She is kind, caring, and considerate. When I was sitting in my wheelchair a little down, she came over to me and offered a massage. I went crazy with happiness and my depression disappeared. I feel if I have any problems that I need solved, I would immediately go to Dana because I know she cares. She has given us a gift. She always is compassionate and seeks people out with empathy. She is special because she truly loved the residents. She is always trying to take care of everyone. Thank you to Mattison Crossing for hiring her. Never let her go!

Five Stars ” These People Are Angels When you’re navigating one of the hardest seasons of your life, the people around you can either break you or hold you together. The staff at Mattison Crossing Senior Living did the latter ” completely and unconditionally. Ruth went above and beyond to help me find a way to afford care for my husband, who is in a wheelchair and is unable to move without assistance. She didn’t just point me toward options ” she worked alongside me until we found a real solution. That kind of dedication doesn’t come from a job description. It comes from the heart. Giovanna made my husband’s transition feel as smooth and dignified as possible. She anticipated every concern, stayed a step ahead, and made sure he was received with the care and warmth he deserves. Then there was the moment that truly showed me who these people are. A delivery company failed us ” my husband’s bed never arrived. I was panicking. Giovanna stepped in, fought with that company directly, and made sure someone went back to their warehouse that same night to get him a bed. She didn’t pass the problem off. She solved it. The entire team ” aides, nurses, maintenance ” every single person carries themselves with that same spirit. They don’t just do their jobs. They show up for you. When you’re caring for someone who is completely vulnerable, you need more than a facility ” you need people who see your loved one as a person, not a patient. The staff at Mattison Crossing does exactly that. They have shown my husband genuine humanity and treated him like family. If you are walking this road, I cannot recommend them enough. These are the angels you need by your side.

I am so happy that I encountered these two people and made this decision in bringing in my mom. I am so grateful for both of them with this new transition moving in my 99-year-old mom.

I’m writing this review as a resident of Mattison Crossing. I recently experienced the most wonderful Passover Seder here and just had to let you know how pleased everyone was on Wednesday evening, April 3, 2026. A group of upper management did an unbelievable job for the Jewish residents that were celebrating a Passover Seder. To begin, CIN our kitchen director and chef had everything down to a science so that nothing could go wrong. Then came Maria the activity director along with Joe and they did a marvelous job of setting up the tables, decorations, and took wonderful photos for this event. Last but not least Maria our new executive director who had experienced this before was very knowledgeable about how things should be done. Ruth our sales director also helped out wherever she could and took charge of overall things as well as taking photos of the event. Also a group of residents led the Seder as hosts and we are very thankful for the good job they did. There were many others in upper management and staff that also participated as well. It is my pleasure to write this review of extreme satisfaction. Lastly I love how easy Mattison made it for residents to invite their families and friends to share in this wonderful holiday. I also look forward to seeing all the good things to come from this great team. Sincerely, Edie Dickes

Like most reviews which sometimes focus on the negatives I’ve decided to focus on the positives. I wouldn’t want thoughts on other areas of MC to get in the way of staff that should get a shout out. The first person in the forefront would have to be hands done the Director of food services, Cinquetta Rhodes aka Cin. Since her inception of joining MC the food quality and choices have been by far the best I’ve heard of. Also Cin has a personality that goes along with her work ethics. She’s always stops to say hello, how’s it going while heading off to her pride the dining room and kitchen. No, I have not been able to join in any of the meals served but, I have to say I hear of all the delicious meal plans and say wow, my mother is eating pretty darn good. My mom, who’s has been a resident since 2023 has nothing but great things to about the food choices and Cin. I would like to also give a shout out to her staff who are all are so respectful and accommodating to the residents needs. Cinquetta is such an asset to MC and wish her continued success. I cannot let 3 more employees go unnoticed. First Miss Rene, and Miss Geraldine and Lisa Libretti. Seeing them first as you enter MC is always a good feeling. At all times these lovely ladies are professional and accommodating with family members and residents. Lisa, always stops to chit chat with my mother asking her how’s she’s doing which is always nice to hear. Thank you Cinquetta, Rene, Geraldine and Lisa. I hope my accolades do not go unnoticed.

My mother moved to Mattison about 14 months ago. After touring many places I chose Mattison for price, everyone was so nice, loved the front porch, and the services. Unfortunately, we have not had greatexperiences since then. This is my only experience with assisted living so maybe I am being naive. But I have found a huge gap in communication between the director, nurses and aids. We have had multiple issues with food delivery (I have had to call and also leave work to find out where her meals were) and packages being delivered. As she is mostly bedridden she relies on me sending packages and they are delivered to her room. Just as recently she was told by an aid (the day they used the last one) that she needed more bed pads. I paid for same day delivery, they were delivered and signed for at 12:30pm and 2 1/2 days later no where to be found until I went to Mattison myself. I understand things happen but this is not the first time by any means. My mother is difficult to deal with and not always nice but the price has gone up for her care quite a bit (over $1000 a month) so I feel like we are paying for those things to be dealt with. Alot of staff turnover since we have been here as well. A handful of exceptional aids and more whom are not great but unfortunately I don't have an alternative care option right now. Maybe this is how alot of assisted livings are run at this price point.

My Dad was forced after a hospitalization to move to assisted living. He was in the hospital and was very sick and went to Rehab and I was completely overwhelmed where he was going to go b/c he couldn't go home. I was so worried if he would be happy. He was an old stubborn Italian who lived in his house for 47 years. I knew he would not take to anything right away, but the staff was so wonderful that he started to acclimate in a short period of time considering... I worked a lot in the beginning with Ruth and she helped make my father feel "at home". That helped with the transition. Immediately my Dad formed a bond with his nurses and aids.. He really started to care about them. I am grateful to everyone at Mattison Crossing for the time my Father was there.. & So grateful to the wonderful people who worked there.. They all really helped me b/c they did all they could for my Dad... I highly recommend this assisted living place.. It is also my pleasure to write this review. I will always write a good review when needed b/c it's not done enough. I hope from this review to help future families who are overwhelmed and worried about their loved one's....

Had to pull my mother from this facility. My bedridden wheelchair-bound mother had a huge black and blue on the top of her foot. No one could explain what had happened or why. Called the police and made a report called the ombudsman and the ombudsman referred to the state. This is just one of many incidents. Would not recommend this place for your loved ones.

Selecting an assisted living facility for your parents is difficult. My dad has been at Mattison Crossing for just over a year now. He was quite reluctant to make the move as he lived in his home for fifty years. Dad fell and found himself unable to live on his own. I feel very fortunate that we selected Mattison Crossing. The Director, Devi, manages a team of caring supportive personnel. They really do a good job. Yes, dad says the food could be better. Overall he is quite happy here. It's comforting to know that Mattison provides a level of care that is compassionate and supportive. The physical therapy team pushes Dad to walk and he is improving! His personal assistant, Faubert is awesome. He really looks after Dad. The community is welcoming and engaging. I'm very pleased with level of care and community that Mattison Crossing provides. This is a 100% genuine review. You can feel free to contact me. I'll answer any questions. If you can get in and it fits your family budget, this is a very good option. I was making the decision you have to make just a year ago!

My mom has been at Mattison Crossing for three weeks now and we couldn’t be happier with what we’ve seen so far. From the moment she arrived, she was welcomed into the community and made to feel at home. She was understandably shy at first because she didn’t know anybody and everything was so new but she quickly adapted, made friends and loves all of the many wonderful daily activities offered. Her caretakers go above and beyond when it comes to caring for her and attending to her every need. I haven’t heard one complaint so far she is truly happy in her new home. And we have peace of mind knowing that we made the right decision and chose just the right place where mom can be happy for the rest of her life. We did our due diligence and visited several communities to compare. Mattison Crossing was the shining star and stood out from all of the other assisted living facilities we had seen. We knew from the moment we walked in that we had found mom’s new home.

My Grandpa is a resident at Mattison crossing. He absolutely loves the independence he has living in his own beautiful apartment. Elder care from a distance is always very challenging, and so it is critical that your loved one is in a facility that can be trusted. Mattison Crossing is just such a community. My dad, an approaching 100, is wonderfully and professionally cared for by this staff and very much feels part of the community and always articulates this to me when we converse. I have very good and trusted friends who visit him frequently and without advance notice, and the report I consistently get from them is that, despite being wheelchair bound, he is always very clean, well-clothed and well-groomed and always looking forward to participating in the day's many available activities. He is a WWII vet who always takes great pride in his appearance, and so this is critically important to him and Mattison recognizes this and accommodates that need. His room is spacious and provides generous accommodations relative to the price point, and the food prepared by their world-class chef is excellent and very nutritious. My son is a professional pianist (Michael Drusdow--Young Steinway Artist) and when we visited Mattison the staff was very accommodating in arranging an impromptu concert for my dad and the other residents. If something requires my attention, I am notified immediately and informed regarding what steps were taken and what if any further recommendations need to be considered, and so communication is an extremely strong point of Mattison as well. I can cite many additional examples all leading to the same conclusion: Mattison Crossing is an exceptional value for the money offering highly professional, compassionate care, flexibility, and services to loved ones at a time when they need them the most. The measure of a greatness of a society is how well it cares for its most vulnerable members, and to me Mattison Crossing is highly exemplary in this regard. I cannot imagine my dad being anywhere else; the most important endorsement though is the fact that neither can he!

I'm writing this review on behalf of my brother. It took a lot for me to find a place I thought would be suitable for my brother and his wife. Through other recommendations I checked Mattison Crossing out and have been very happy with this decision. My brother and his wife are so happy here. All the people I've dealt with from the managers, directors, to receptionist to the aides and all who work there, have been outstanding. Their thoughtfulness, kindness, and caring has made me feel so comfortable with choosing Mattison Crossing. This is not my first time looking into such a place as I've had other family members that we've done this for and it's the first time I can say this was worth a review for the outstanding job they do for your loved ones.

I moved my parents into Mattison Crossing three weeks before Covid so unfortunately I haven't been able to be in the building much at all. However, I have come to know some of the staff through e-mail, phone, and text. Devi Patel, Executive Director, has been very helpful in answering all my questions, especially since such strict limitations were put in place due to Covid so shortly after my parents moved in. She helped in anyway she could to make it as smooth a transition as possible considering the challenges of the pandemic. Carmela Silodor has been wonderful in her efforts to keep the residents busy with daily activities and coordinating outdoor visits during such a stressful time. She responds quickly to all my e-mails and answers all my questions. I would like to personally thank Sandra Bishara and Yamila Cedeno for the outstanding care they provide my mom. Sandra (mom's nurse) always keeps me updated on her care and only has my mom's best interest in mind. The same goes for Yamila who is my mom's aide. Both women are warm and caring and go above and beyond in what they do. Sam (night nurse) is also wonderful in what he does. He calls to keep me informed should any issues arise and also answers all questions I may have. I lost my dad after only being at Mattison Crossing for four months and they were all so supportive and helpful in every way. I am hopeful that shortly all families will be allowed indoor visitation, my mom can enjoy all the amenities offered, and things get back to the way they were pre-covid.

There are four people who are exceptional and one who is very good, the rest are fair at best. MaryAnn Biggs can always be counted on to do what ever it takes to ensure the safety and happiness of the residents even when it is not part of her job. There has been several times when she was covering the phones or was the executive in charge on the weekend and my Mother needed something and no one else at Mattison Crossing could be bothered to help. In every instance she took care of the issue. MaryAnn should be running a facility and while I would not want her to leave she would make an excellent executive director. I would give her 5 stars. Sandra Bishara is a nurse who takes care of area where both my parents reside. She is extremely caring and good at what she does. Dealing with the elderly is not easy but she is always upbeat and ensures they get their medication and she deals with all the issues that arise. Sandra makes herself available all the time. At Mattison Crossing it is very difficult to speak to a nurse as the phone system often sends you in circles and it is rare you can reach a nurse or even leave a message for a nurse. Sandra has provided her personal cell phone so when we cannot get through we can reach her. If she is unavailable she always calls us back and takes care of all the concerns. I would give her 5 stars. Lani Hombrebuem is the aide assigned most days to my Mother. She is wonderful and ensures my Mother is cared for properly. At this point, my Mom can get confused and Lani always make sure is okay. My Mother adores Lani and it appears the feeling is mutual. I would give her 5 stars. Vito Olvieri is also a 5 star employee. When there is a problem, e.g., an aide stole my Mother's cell phone, Vito is the person assigned deal with the family. Even if we did like the outcome Vito was professional, helpful and honest. He cares and has spent much time trying to deal with my parents when things went wrong at Mattison Crossing. We really appreciate Vito. He is a great asset and Mattison Crossing is lucky to have him on their staff. Wisler takes very good care of my Dad. Wisler is generally very attentive to to my Father's needs. For the most part they have a very good relationship. My Father seems to appreciate him. The rest of the staff in general is fair at best. The response times to pendent calls is often very slow. My Father on occasion has had to wait almost an hour for someone to check on him after pressing his pendent. Luckily, he was not having a heart attack, but the pendent system is antiquated and they do not know why someone pushed the pendent button. The pendent system in my view should be upgraded so someone can talk to the residents and find out what the issue involves. When we were allowed in the facility (before Covid) I witnessed a response time that exceeded 45 minutes when my father who is in a wheel chair and pays for the highest level of care had a real bathroom issue. They came only because I went to the nurse to complain. It turned out the aide was on a break and no one else was covering. To me this is unacceptable. My parents biggest complaint is the food. Both say the food is often horrible. In fairness as you age your taste buds change but the Chef should understand that and adjust the menu. The new Chef definitely tries. We had a conversation and he assured my sister and I that the menu would be adjusted for my parents, so my parents would get food that they like. I can't say for sure that this has happened as the complaints have continued about the food. I have not heard anyone praise the food in the over two years my parents have lived in Mattison Crossing. To be fair activities have had its up and down over time. Covid has made activities difficult. Activities led by Camila are trying hard. It is hard to review this area during Covid . I ranked Mattison Crossing 3 stars because of the employees discussed above, otherwise I would have ranked Mattison Crossing lower.

My mother-in-law is at Mattison crossing. When she is brought outside for Covid -allowed visits, she is accompanied by either Monique or Sandra. They are great! They show sincere care for her. While the facility may have its issues, as any facility would, its great to see two "heroes" at work.

As my Mom is about to embark on a new adventure away from Mattison Crossing, I must still point out that it is staff that make any facility a home. Not limited to these two super human beings, but, Faubert Bazin and Stephanie Santos made my mother’s nearly three year stay more than comfortable. They made her feel safe and secure! We will carry them with us in our hearts to The Jewish Home Nursing & Rehab Center. My 5 star rating is specifically for them - with a shout out to Lionel, Wes, Ancey, CeCe Shanta,Renee and Ann.

I want to send a special shout out to Mary Ann who is director of Memory Care for her warmth, dedication, and the hard work she puts in every day for my mom and all the other residents living with dementia. Thanks also to Smokey, he has always been so nice to my mom and my family, and he continues to be unfailingly upbeat and kind to all the residents. I have many memories of pre-COVID times with Smokey running Bingo and sitting beside my mom and helping her with her board.

I want to take time to thank ALL of the staff at Mattison crossing and especially, Sandra, Christine, Natalie, Stephanie, Valancia, Delores, Gloria and families that came to the hospital to show immense support to my Aunt while she was recovering from a severe stroke. You all went above and beyond and exceed expectations of not only nurses and coworkers but family as well. Thank you!

My mom, Esther Weinberg, has been living at Mattison Crossing for almost a year. She has not been able to visit with her family, in her apartment, for many months now due to the corona virus restrictions. Fortunately, the anxiety and strain of the pandemic and resulting isolation has been lessened greatly by the excellent care and attention of two outstanding aides, Lani and Krista. Both of these wonderful ladies have made a tremendous difference in my mom's life!!! They are always prompt, accommodating, upbeat, and diligent in their duties. My mom knows she can count on them for whatever she needs. During this difficult time, Lani and Krista have been helpers, friends, and family to my mom. My mom, as well as my sister and I, are so grateful to them both!

I have been visiting Mattison Crossing for many years now, even before it was Mattison Crossing, and it has always been a wonderful place, full of kind staff members who know how to provide exceptional care and happy residents. You can tell a lot about the care a place provides by how happy the residents are. The staff are friendly and out-going and seem to genuinely care about the residents. What is most impressive to me is that the environment isn't like a nursing home but more like an upscale apartment community with plenty of space to get around, to enjoy the abundance of activities, and to meet other people. I would recommend Mattison Crossing to anyone and everyone. You would have to travel far and wide to find a better place to live - and to recieve care - than Mattison Crossing!

My mom and aunt are residents at Mattison Crossing and would like to give a shout out to a few of the employees that make there life more enjoyable. Cequan, comes to their room with tea and a dance, which makes them smile. Mila Rose is always a favorite and it make my mom happy especially since they share a name. Jordan, Amanda, Delores Renee and Nypa are always willing to chat with them while making them feel comfortable when they need assistance. Their nurse Christy is a wonderful person and we know that she is their to take care of their health concerns and always willing to take a call from the family. Also, Christy from activities is always taking suggestions on things they can to do to make their days more enjoyable and fun. It has been a difficult time these past 7 months and although not everything is perfect, my family knows that the staff has their best interest at heart and are working very hard to make their lives comfortable and enjoyable. Let's hope very soon the families can get in to spend some quality time with our loved ones, while keeping everyone safe and healthy.

My mom has lived at Mattison Crossing for the past 1 1/2 years and it was the best decision made. I know that she is in a safe environment and is so well taken care of. From the moment she moved in she felt right at home. With the activities offered she is out and about and not much time for naps! The staff is so kind and caring. If something is needed, I am able to call or email and it gets done. It has been very hard in the past few months not being able to visit but FaceTime was done with a smile. And a birthday celebration for her 98th was even made. There are so many employees that I have met that have been wonderful. Carmela, Vicki, Stephanie, Vito, Devi, Renee (always has a smile at the reception), Sharon and Cynthia. I would truly recommend Mattison Crossing any day.

Monique Gouamba is one of my Mom's aids at this Assistand Living. She is an exeptionally caring and gentle person. She is playing a very important role right now. Due to the Virus I have not been able to see my mom. My Mom has poor vision and difficulty walking. Monique is there to help her in any way possible. It is comforting to know that Monique is so kind and attentive to my mom. Even though she has so many other responsibilities she finds the time to answer the phone for my mom when there, tell me she is doing fine, and so much more. She will let me know if she needs me to order somthing for Mom. Her devotion to her job is absolutley amazing. My family can't thank her enough! We love you Monique!!!

I just moved my Dad in last week but I moved my Aunt to Mattison Crossing almost three years ago. She is in Memory Care and my Dad is in regular assisted living. I could not be happier with the care they are both receiving and more importantly how much the staff does to make sure they are comfortable and their needs are being met. I also had an administrative issue for a while that was handled quickly by the new executive director. Devi is amazing and so is Tammy who helped me with getting my Dad moved into the facility.

My parents both came to what was called The Brookside TEN YEARS AGO this month. My dad died 3 years ago, and my mom continues to live there. There have been ups and downs, depending on who owned the faciltiy, and who was the Executive Director. Right now, during the COVID19 crisis, we have been overall very happy with the way thngs have been handled. The place had always been immaculate, and they always seem to be adding something or re-doing something to the main builiding, the enterntainment has been great, and the overall care has been really nice- as with any place, some staff make more of an effort and are warmer and demonstrate more caring than others, but overall my mom has always fallen in love with a few of the workers there at any one time,. During COVID19, they seemed to do their very best to keep residents safe, to keep families informed, and to give residents as much freedom as possible while putting their safety at a premium. The nursing staff has been pretty consistently outstanding. The present Executive Director, Devi, is wonderful, and is very responsive to concerns or questions. I have only two reservations about the place- One was that we chose it initially because having a kosher place and one with a significatn Jewish "feel" to it was very important to us. This still exists, but generally over the years there has been a very gradual de-emphasis on this part of the facility and a loosening up of some of the more traditional Jewish emphasis. The other thing has been the food, which has always been somewhat disappointing, but particularly challenging during COVID19 when food was delivered to the rooms. We have been told many times that they are working on this, and have been disappointed in the past, but are hopeful that the present Executive Director, and new head of the ktichen will finally be able to turn this around. But when it comes to the most important things- social connection, cleanlinness and safety and health issues, and overall a caring environment, we have been pleased.

My parents have been living at Mattison Crossing for 6 months. The staff knows them by name, knows about them what they like and don't like. They are always greeted by their first name whether it is senior management or a janitor. They are very happy with the Kosher food, they have been eating regularly and gaining weight. I feel they are being well cared for yet have their freedom to do as they please.

The one thing my mom says is the people that work there are wonderful, which is most important. I trust she is taken care of by caring staff. The negative is the food. I understand it’s a Kosher food budget, but so many items I have seen do not look appetizing. Plus it seems to me they serve a lot of fried and salty items which are not healthy. Whenever she attends the entertainment, she seems happy. She plays a lot of Bingo. I think the rooms could be cleaner as I have needed to clean her bathroom myself on many occasions. Overall, I am happy Mom is in a place where she is safe and caring people are taking care of her.

My dad is in Mattison Crossing Memory Care. He is always busy with activities which he appears to enjoy. The recreation aides are kind and encourage dad to engage in activities as a group or sit and play checkers with his buddy. Off campus trips are part of the program as well as walks in the courtyard on nice days. Maryann Biggs - the Memory Care Director is a true professional and a great leader. She is obviously loved by residents and staff. Dad is safe and happy for which my sisters and I are truly grareful. I just noticed another reviewer wrote ..Have there been bumps in the road? Yes as expected. I would agree to this. We ve encountered bumps over the 15 months dad has been at Mattison but staff has always been willing to work things out via phone or in person conferences. Thank you to all for doing what you do to make dad comfortable.

We moved our Mom here from Rehab 2 months ago. Everyone at Mattison Crossing has worked with us in every way that we have requested to make our Mom comfortable, and to feel part of the community. There is always an adjustment period, and the folks here, from nursing director to activities director et al have worked with us and kept us informed about Mom's progress. Have there been bumps in the road? Sure - as we would have expected, but on the whole, everyone has been gracious and helpful to the max. Our Mom loves her most consistent aide and for a person fussy about food hasn't voiced many complaints. We're delighted that our Mom has found a home.

I have read prior reviews and felt the urge to write one for Mattison Crossing Because they far exceeded our expectations. We have been to 4 different facilities in the central NJ area and all places are not created equal. I have read the reviews online and can attest that Mattison crossings at Manalapan have made adjustments to the feedback that has been left. Our experience is NOTHING like the reviews that have been left. My mom is living there and is thriving since she the day she arrived. The first priority is that our mom remains healthy. The nursing staff is loving, caring and very attentive to my mom and her needs. They are on the ball. I can ask them anything at any time and every nurse knows what her numbers are and how she reacted to any medicine. They observe and know anything that changes. They take the necessary calls and get direction from the doctors. Simply outstanding. My mom is on a lot of meds and they make it look very easy. Which we know is NOT!! The staff is lovely warm and caring to everyone! They stay on a great schedule with the residents. It’s been absolutely lovely. The Director Shain and her entire staff are visible and engaged with the residents. Every question and possible concern has been proactively address. It’s quite impressive. Someone from my family visits EVERYDAY and at different times and the level of care remains consistent. Not only with our mom but with all the residents. The in facility is spotless!! It’s very well maintained and clean. Based on the wonderful environment that they have created at the Mattison, the excellent health care, the caring staff and the well maintained facility our hope is to extend the independence and life of our mother. Thank you every single person at the Mattison for making this very hard decision a lot easier by proving us with the peace of mind that you are treating her as well as family.
