My aunt has been struggling to take care of my uncle, who has dementia, for several years. She finally made the tough decision to move him into Sunrise of Franklin Lakes. What a difference this community has made for our family! Our uncle is well-cared for, well-fed, and spends his days doing different activities that make him happy. In addition, we feel like we have our aunt back! She is no longer stressed out because she knows her husband is safe. She gets to visit him often in this beautiful building and the staff treats her like family. We are so grateful to this team!

Sunrise Assisted Living facilities are beautifully decorated and maintained. The Franklin Lakes location has amazing and caring staff from the top down! And the memory care unit is top notch!

I Moved my aunt onto the memory care neighborhood at Sunrise of Franklin Lakes. The staff could not be more welcoming. Christine was engaging the residents with delicious smelling banana bread and quickly whisked my aunt into the activity. What a blessing to be able to set up her room while she interacted with her new neighbors. Stephany, the coordinator has been very patient with all my phone calls and questions. You can really feel how much they care about our loved ones.

My 93 year old mother relocated to the Franklin Lakes NJ Sunrise facility in October 2023 from another well known assisted living facility on Long Island. This Sunrise facility is limited to assisted living and memory care; there is no independent living population. The facility truly is more focused on actual care for seniors. This was critical to my decision to place my mother here. The facility is beautiful, warm and homey. The nursing staff is far superior to what our family experienced earlier. They are engaged, informed, caring and communicative. Unfortunately, my mother started failing in December, and began hospice care shortly after her hospital release. The entire staff could not have done more to make my mother's last months comfortable and peaceful. From the nurses to the aides, everyone was patient and understanding. Their dedication made this sad, stressful time easier on our family and we are eternally grateful that she could remain at Sunrise until the end. We highly recommend this facility.

Pot roast without gravy, 35 minutes to get my grandma her eggs and toast when the sitting for breakfast is an hour. Staff do not include listed menu items. $9,000 a month... and this is what you pay for? WE WILL BE HAVING A DISCUSSION WITH YOU ALL!!! 11/16/2023 Sunrise has reached out and has made many accommodations and also has recognized my grandmother's complaints. I have to give the local, and corporate team credit, they were very prompt to address the issues. As long as Grandma is happy, and she is being looked after as if she was their Grandmother is all I care about. And the team has stepped up and addressed the issues. Thank you.

During these really difficult times had to leave my mother in the capable hands of Sunrise of Franklin Lakes, we were all inflicted with Covid this May and we are so grateful that we were able to recover from Covid and know that during the time when we were down that Sunrise was taking very good care of her. The staff is caring considerate and absolutely the best group of people that we have ever encountered in our memory care journey, as my mom has been in four different facilities with Sunrise being the last.

I am SO delighted to share my family's fantastic experience with Sunrise of Franklin Lakes. My family and I had some initial reservations about moving one of my grandparents to an assisted living facility, but it's evident each time we visit that we undoubtedly made the right choice. The staff are highly professional and are clearly deeply committed to the residents' well-being and happiness. My grandma absolutely loves it there, and the Sunrise team always treats her with the utmost respect and dignity. Her specific medical and dietary needs are always met, and it's so nice to have that peace of mind, knowing my grandma is so well cared for. 🙂 The facility itself is beautifully updated, and impeccably maintained, and there are many amenities, activities, and events for her to enjoy. I especially love hearing her talk about the friendships and connections she's made while living there. That said, I cannot recommend Sunrise of Franklin Lakes highly enough. All this to say—Grandma is thriving there, and my family and I are beyond grateful. Thank you to everyone at this wonderful community!

Sunrise of Franklin Lakes just opened this week. My mother was one of the first residents to arrive. I can only tell you that I have been super impressed with every single staff member at this facility. Everyone has so warmly welcomed my mother, keeps her active all day long, and has taken an interest in not only her but in her family. I truly believe that the staff at Sunrise has become my mother's new family. She is so incredibly happy to be there. They have lots of activities which promote a sense of purpose for living, which is so critical for her moving forward. I highly recommend this facility for anyone who is looking for a placement that provides loving care and sincere interest in their residents.
