My mother had Alzheimers in the final chapter of her wonderful life. Her last year was spent at Brandywine, The Gables, preceded by Reflections. The atmosphere was wonderful in both facilities. She was transferred when it was better for her. She was very happy the entire time because the personnel saw to it. They treated her like family, and their relationship was warm and genuine. They advised me every step of the way, and their experience and professionalism turned out to be very accurate so that I was able to accept her progress in a way that maintained a joyous state of mind for her. She was happy the entire stay because the staff always saw to her best interests. The facility was clean, organized, and uplifting. I referred to her room as "her apartment" and she was happy with that reference. I visited almost daily and saw her laughing and chatting with other residences and staff, and was very excited to see me. Her final hour was spent with our family around her, and her "extended family" stepping in and out to guide us along and give words of comfort to her and to us. My mother gently left us laughing, and then quietly slipped away to join the Lord. I am eternally grateful to the wonderful staff at Brandywine, and my Mom and our family were blessed to have found them. told my children that if I am ever in the same situation, that is the only facility for me!

All I can say is WOW!! My Mother-in-law had a fall and needed an assisted living facility. I was scrambling from my home in South Carolina to find her a place. After doing some research, and in panic mode, I called Brandywine at the Gables. Maria talked me down from the ledge, answered all my questions, and offered to come in on her day off for a tour. She has spoken to all 4 of the family members involved, and is always available by text, phone, or email. She walked us through the admission process, and even introduced me to all the ladies who will be my MIL's new friends. Maria guided us through every step of the move in process, and made us all feel welcome. The facility itself is beautiful with lots to offer, but the staff, and especially Maria, have made us confident that we have found the best possible place for my MIL to live.

I cannot recommend this facility highly enough to care for your loved ones. I had the pleasure of attending a a seashell craft event hosted by Maria Carnaval and I was blown away by Maria's true passion, love and energy infused to ensure all the residents were cared for. The relationships were not one sizes fits all by personalized and with care and patience. It was evident from the laughter and smiles that this was a family. In addition to the awesome event, I was shocked to learn the incredible meal was created in their kitchen. It was so good I wanted to get the catering information for my own use. Positively delicious. As a person who served as caregiver to both of my parents, I cannot tell you how rare it is to find a facility like this. I wish the scale went higher than five stars! Kudos Brandy Wine! May you set the standard for others to follow.

I attended a function and found Brandywine Living and found it to be spectacular. From the time I walked into the front door, every employee and resident I came in contact with was so friendly and happy. I spoke with an employee named Maria Carnevale and she was so sweet, informative and had the biggest smile. I also spoke with a few of the residents and they all seemed so happy and well cared for. I found the facility to be beautiful, spotlessly clean and welcoming. What a gorgeous place. Since the first day we visited Brandywine, Maria, Nicole and the entire staff have been so welcoming and accommodating. After my mom died, I moved my dad in with me. It was difficult for him to be left alone while my husband and I were at work, and he was becoming increasingly depressed. Then my dad acquired Covid and he required hospitalization and Rehab. Once he finished Rehab, it was clear to me that he would need to be cared for daily. I came across Brandywine because I pass it on my way home from work. I met Maria Carnevale and it was like meeting your long lost best friend. She is a wonderful person! She has a special bond with all the seniors at her facility. I felt so comfortable with her and the home like setting. Long story short...my dad is thriving, he is active and well cared for thanks to Maria and her team!

After my father passed away I wanted to move my mom closer to me so I could help care for her. I took her to a few ALFs and the minute she walked in the door to tour Gables she told me this was the place for her! We went back a few more times just to be sure and my mom couldn't wait to move in. 18 months later my mom is still as happy as the day she first toured. She has met so many lovely people. The staff is exceptional, caring, compassionate, and always willing to help. They treat her like family and treat me the same way. Maria(admissions), Cecilia and Roxanne(Front desk), both Tammys (nursing), Pat (housekeeping), Lisa and Judy(recreation), the list goes on..are all wonderful and have really helped to make my mom feel comfortable during her adjustment to her new home.

Our family is so happy with our experience with The Brandywine at The Gables in Brick, NJ. My Mom recently stayed there for 2 weeks for respite care and she loved it. It's like a beautiful bed and breakfast - a truly wonderful assisted living facility. The facility was spotless and they were constantly cleaning. My parents have received exceptional attention and care since their arrival at Brandywine at the Gables almost a year ago. Despite the challenges of COVID, all the staff have gone out of their way to make their new living situation work. Lisa (Escapades director) arranged a special gathering for Mom's 94th birthday that allowed family to attend while staying safe. She also orchestrated a surprise celebration of their 74th wedding anniversary which meant so much to them. Celia and Carmen always accommodate out-of-state family, assisting with visitation appointments and making sure all our questions are answered. We are thrilled our parents live in such a caring place.

Words cannot express how grateful I am for Brandywine Gables. My mother-in-law suffered a fall which resulted in surgery and the need for assisted living. The transition was sudden for her from being completely indpendent. Faith had a room ready for her with a welcome sign on her door to make her feel welcome in her new home. The place is beautiful and clean. It is like being in a hotel. There are church services and an incredible movie theater. When I took my mother in law out for the day, upon her return they immediately checked her blood sugar. A nurse visited her before she went to bed to check on her and housekeeping asked her if she needed anything. This is how our loved ones should be treated and this place is gift. Her whole family has peace of mind knowing she is very well cared for. Not to mention the countless activities and trips they can take. So happy and extremely grateful!

The physical facility was immaculate, the common areas were bright and attractively decorated, the dining room was set up like a nice restaurant and the residents rooms were spacious with a private bath, large closet and kitchenette. But clearly the best aspect of Brandywine at the Gables is its staff. The Executive Director and Director of Nursing are professional, informed, compassionate, helpful and willing to go out of their way for a resident or family member. These qualities trickle down to the rest of the staff who learn residents names quickly and help them settle in and encourage them to take part in daily activities, of which there are many, The nursing staff is diligent in dispensing medications and are available for conversations with designated family members. Moving a loved one into any facility is difficult but at Brandywine at the Gables you can do so knowing they are in pleasant surroundings and in the hands of a capable and caring staff. My mother is very happy ay the Gables in Brick. She previously resided at Willow Springs on Burnt Tavern Road and one day to our surprise the new owners announced to us that they were closing down their "assisted living" unit and were changing it to additional rehab rooms. As much as I was surprised I was not disappointed. My mother was only there 5 months but was not treated at all like she is in her new home! The Gables offered to accommodate all the residents that were being "ousted" from WS and what a great day that was for us. The Gables is lovely and the staff is wonderful to my mom. The meals are served like a restaurant and she enjoys the food very much. And she is able to be seated with her friends from WS which made her transition so much easier. She has a new friend on the staff now too named Pat that comes in and cleans her room and changes her bed that is just so sweet to my mom. There are many activities for the residents although my mom prefers to spend most of her time reading and watching TV they have encouraged her to join in but respect her choices. I would recommend the Gables to all who are looking for a professionally run, warm and caring, lovely new home for their loved one.

If you are looking for a senior living home with compassionate, motivated, friendly and truly loving and caring staff and residents, Brandywine Senior Living at the Gables should be at the top of your list. When you speak to any one of the staff at Brandywine, you get the feeling that they love their jobs and the residents. My Mother and Father began their life at Brandywine as a couple. Unfortunately, after just 3 weeks, my Dad became ill and passed away. We truly believe that visits to the hospital by the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director helped my Father to let go knowing that the love of his life would be well cared for. The compassion and support shown to my Mom, my sister, and I (who both live out of state) by the staff and residents during my Dad's illness, his passing, and the following month while we stayed with my Mom to settle their estate and prepare their home in order to sell it, was above and beyond. From the simplest gestures of a smiling face, warm good morning greeting and much needed hugs to packing lunches for us to take with us as we cleaned out my parents house, and helping us move furniture, the staff was there for us for whatever we needed. We only had to ask for whatever we needed and they were happy to help. Often times we didn't even need to ask, they just seemed to know what we needed and offered their assistance. Today, almost 3 years later, while we are all still grieving the loss of my Dad and miss him terribly, my sister and I are comforted knowing that my Mom, now 93 years old, is finding her way without her husband of 56 years with the help of the staff and other residents at Brandywine. Not only does she have friends and activities to fill her days, we all have the comfort of knowing that should Mom need any type of medical care, a friendly ear or assistance with anything, she has that available to her 24 hours a day. When asked recently by a friend if she would recommend Brandywine, my Mom, without any hesitation responded, “YES!” Brandywine continues to be a true blessing for all of us. The entire staff is superb - sincerely interested and caring about the residents. They treat all residents with respect and good humor, making them feel comfortable, safe, and relaxed in a home atmosphere. I visit my mother often, and at various times of day, and I have found every staff member to be someone I am very happy to know and to be a valuable part of Brandywine. The grounds and building are beautiful and continually well cared for. The food is excellent and varied, with choices available at each meal. My mother has been at Brandywine over a year, has made good friends with residents, and feels comfortable there. She enjoys the many and varied activities, speakers, and entertainment provided. Management is always available and any concerns or questions are dealt with quickly. I am very happy with the level of care my mother has constantly received over the entire time she has been a resident at Brandywine.
