Dennis and I have lived at the Hunt Community since July, 2022! It is one of the best decisions we have ever made. The Staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. We have made numerous friends and enjoy the varied daily activities that help keep us young!

It was time for us to write a new chapter in our retirement plan, we were looking forward to "care free" living after living through several hurricanes in Florida. Our visit to the Hunt encapsulated all our wants and needs in a warm and secure environment. The freedom to come and go as we please, exercise programs, activities to challenge your mind, exciting trips, and a social life ready made by the welcoming residents. Lastly, our children were ecstatic with our decision taking the stress off of them knowing we are well cared for daily and in any emergency situation the Hunt is prepared. Come join us! When it became time for us to downsize we knew we wanted a new home where we would be happy; a home that was comfortable, secure and most importantly, carefree. we wanted the freedom to come and go, we wanted activities that would keep our minds sharp and our bodies active; we wanted to be around people who are welcoming and friendly; and we wanted to be centrally located. All of these wants, plus many more, we found here at the Hunt Community where the residents, the staff, and the administration all work together for our mutual benefit. the community life here at the Hunt Community was by far the perfect decision for us.

The Hunt is not only a great place to live with excellent services, it is also a great place to play. I plant a flower garden in the summer, play cribbage every week, watch movies, read books from the library, exercise, yoga, balance, enjoy classes... this list goes on. The best part is that it is all right here. I don't have to drive anywhere!

My mother in law lives here and we visit often, in fact they have a very nice theater inside with tierd seating, nice comfortable chairs. Large screen and show various movies in there from Amazon.

I love it when I am asked if it was a difficult decision for me to join the Hunt Community and make it my home. I am always happy to respond No, it was not. Actually, it was a no brainer for me. You see, my dearest friend since first grade had moved into the Hunt, and on several occasions that first year she was so happy to show off her new home that she invited me to come stay with her for a few days at a time. I readily accepted. This gave me an opportunity to observe what life at the Hunt would be like because I had a chance to get to know many delightful residents , attend various classes, enjoy good entertainment, and eat many delicious meals in their lovely dining room. Each time I left feeling it was time for me to start seriously thinking how I wanted to spend the rest of my life. Those overnight visits confirmed that a move to the Hunt guaranteed I would never have a lonely moment, would never have to shop, prepare, and cook meals, a housekeeper would clean my apartment every other week, and I would acquire a new family of friends. I have now been an Independent Resident at the Hunt for almost nine years, and I can truly say that my decision to join the Hunt Community was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Ginny Kenney
