Though my mother has only been here a short time, the facility and staff have been very pleasant and welcoming to her and my family. The application and acceptance process was easy, as was the move in phase. I hope the experience continues to be positive as my mother is beginning to enjoy her new life here.

This is the best place for my mom! When we first toured she said it felt like home. Her apartment is just the right size. There are plenty of activities throughout the week and the opportunity to interact with other residents. I’m thankful she’s in a place that cares about the residents.

I recently had my grandmother living at Westgate Assisted Living. We visited many places in the Omaha area and were blessed to have chosen Westgate. Just walk in the door and you can see why they have awards hanging on the walls. They were Best of Omaha winners 9 times and even had a National Award for Quality. My family and I can attest that Westgate is definitely a step above the rest! We really felt like family when we would come to visit!

I was Amazed how many smiles I seen!! I know they got a new person running activity part and they have gone to many places like the Omaha Zoo, and to Warner stadium. The little things matter and I believe that they are filled here. Not one for old people homes , and this was not that feel.

I walked in to ask a few questions with my Mother and ended up staying for dinner. There were so many choices we wanted to try everything on the menu. We are so glad we did. This is the best place we visited and my Mom loves it.

I believe finding Westgate Assisted Living was truly an answer to prayer. Following a hospital stay, my dad needed more assistance so the hunt was on for a good place for him to stay. Westgate was in a convenient location, reasonably-priced, and well-maintained, but best of all, the staff are experienced, patient, and very kind. In such a short time, they felt like family. My dad was very content here and always felt like the staff were responsive and thoughtful. I couldt recommend it more highly.

Westgate Assisted Living was my fathers home for three and one half years. My family would recommend Westgate as it was recommended to us by a coworker . It was convenient to our familys homes and work locations at 3030 south 80th Street, just off Center.Dad moved there because, at 88 and beginning to be frail, he needed an accessible residence and his own home for fifty years with steep basement stairs to was not workable and he was not eating well on his own. We found the quite spacious studio apartment to be perfect for him, with a large picture window, private bathroom, a small galley kitchen, plenty of storage and all the privacy he wanted.He was reluctant at first, but after several months, the caring and attentive staff at Westgate drew him into the social community there. Three times weekly bingo games and the Friday afternoon musical events were highlights. He also looked forward to the weekly escorted shopping trips to the local grocery, pharmacy and banking.He participated in almost all of the recreational and social activities including the resident advisory council. The advisory council creates an effective and respectful means of real communication for residents with each area of the Westgate management. I was always very impressed with the sincere effort that the staff made to address resident requests. Their diligent advocacy also assured fairly regular religious observance and pastoral visits.After some time, he required additional assistance with medication management and Westgate provided that service well. The nursing staff was caring and insightful, something we especially appreciated.We knew very soon after he moved to Westgate that this was a great place for him. We remain very grateful for his years at Westgate.
