My mom is living at this facility now. It is a lovely place with kind caring staff. Right now during COVID times are difficult and they are doing their best to keep the residents safe and occupied in a safe manner. One big complaint we have though is the food. Since I originally published this I received a call from culinary services at Emanuel Health System. I was very impressed with the response we received and am confident that change will be made. Thanks

I am a new employee to Lakeside however my experience has been nothing but amazing! I can honestly say that this is the best place I have ever worked. My co-workers are just genuinely good people, the residents are some of the sweetest people I've ever met and the atmosphere is always positive. There is no other place I'd rather build a career. I sincerely enjoy waking up everyday and being able to make a difference in other people's lives.
