I appreciate all the help Astoria's staff provides. Today I feel more under the weather due to the wounds of my already treated palate cancer. It hurts but even the front desk cares for you. Thank you Eva, Elliot and Riges. -I am having problems eating and not hungry. Tinna makes a big effort cooking food that faste great and looks amazing! I am greatful for her work. -My computer was not talking to my printer, and Barb, a very important staff at Astoria Assisted Living,, ask IT to help me. Who in this World will do that? Only Barb!!!! I love my room, CNA's and Med Aid's. SPECIALLY GG, LAUREN AND BETTY. Susan is an splendid, and helpful nurse I am able to make it here because of the staff's love. Love Dolores and Cindy, housekeeping. I am from Puerto Rico.

I feel like there needs to be improvement in giving information about living at Astoria. A handbook would be most helpful with a map of the building, where do you go for fire alarms or tornados , what time are meals served, the charge for delivered meals if you’re not sick, just to name a few. I’ve had to ask other residents for all of this information Cindy, my housekeeper has been a good source of information. I appreciate that. I’ve been here a month and I still haven’t had a bathing aid until Thursday of last week. Peter said he was my caregiver and would be assisting me. I’m not comfortable with a man for this job and told him so. I know it’s not Peter’s job to get this worked out. Who’s is it? I hope my input will be helpful. Thank you, Marnie Mason

Had to move my wife into an assisted living location fast and one call to Janet, the Executive Dir and everything was taken care of. The whole staff at Astoria is an amazing group of people that are there to care and support you as if you are the only person living there. Just read the other comments. Astoria is the place for you.

I cannot say enough great things about Astoria Senior Living! The care and attention they provide to residents is truly above and beyond anything we could have imagined. The staff is incredibly hands-on, compassionate, and professional, always going the extra mile to make sure everything runs smoothly. Jaime, who works at the front desk, is absolutely wonderful”she’s bubbly, sweet, and always willing to help, often sharing little behind-the-scenes details that make me feel even more connected Caleigh, the head of the activities department, is an absolute gem. She’s fun, full of energy, and always makes my mom laugh. Every time I visit during activities, my mom tells me how much she loves spending time with Caleigh and how they have such a great time together. Overall, our experience at Astoria has been nothing short of excellent, and I am so grateful for the genuine care and warmth they provide.

Communication with the upper management is poor. You never know if PT/OT or the doctor has seen your relative. The upper management keeps changing so you don't know who to go to with concerns. I think the aids could use more training about skin care. For the most part the aids are friendly and interact well with the residents.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the care Astoria has provided for my dad. I think the only thing that needs improvement is having more security such as maybe disguising the fire alarms so residents won't pull it and maybe getting Plexiglass installed.

Astoria Omaha has beautiful grounds, amazing room views, excellelent food and activities, and dedicated, caring staff. The leadership of the community is engaged and active in all aspects of resident life. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful, classic building that's kept very clean, but most importantly the stories from the residents indicate that the care is wonderful, not to mention the top notch food! Communities managed by Agemark Senior Living have a unique culture in which they work really hard to create moments of joy for their residents through familiar activities and experiences.
