Used to give them high marks but feel the "assistance" part of assisted living has fallen far below what they say they can do when you sign up. It says 24 hour assistance available but it is hard to reach people and communication with the care team is poor. Now there are new people there so maybe it will improve? Also no special diets are accommodated.

Visited a family member that lives here. The community is so clean and the residents are all so happy. The staff are very attentive to my grandma when she needs anything. I would recommend Woodlands to anyone looking for a place for their loved one.

Visited a loved one that is staying here and was amazed by how nice and helpful all the staff was!! Everything is so beautiful and very well taken care. My loved one that is staying there couldn't be happier and really enjoys all the activies Kristin puts on, she goes above and beyond! I would recommend this place to anyone.

From the moment you walk in to every part as you walk back to your loved one's room, everything and everyone is set-up to be inviting. My Dad was in the memory care portion and he improved so much while he was there. He was loved and cared for and most of all respected. He wanted to be involved in the activities and never wanted to be late for meals. They helped us do window visits and we came every day. Stephanie, the memory care director, is there for not only your loved one, but for you as well. We could text or call her anytime. It was so comforting to walk away from a visit and know Dad was taken care of as well as you would. All the staff became a part of our family.

I got a virtual tour of the Woodlands and loved it. The building is beautiful. I got to talk to several staff members during the tour (unusual for a virtual tour) and they all seemed terrific. The food menus looked good enough to almost make me want to move there. I looked at a studio apartment and it was HUGE!! It was basically a one bedroom minus one wall. I felt like they were very engaged with their residents and had opened up their dining room enough that residents could at least sit and talk to each other (with plenty of safety precautions) while eating. I wouldnt have any qualms about bringing a loved one here.

Our family has been so pleased with the Woodlands at Hillcrest memory care family . They are so caring and always looking for a way to provide their resudents with whatever it takes to make their new home as close to their previous home as possible. Everything is always nice and clean and everyone I have ever encountered has been very kind and caring and have made me feel like i am their only priority. Our family feels blessed that our father is able to be in such a wonderful caring place.

My mother has been at The Woodlands since November. She was at another assisted living facility prior to that. This facility runs like a well oiled machine. The staff are professional and always willing to help. My mother recently moved over to the memory care unit and staff did everything they could to make the transition as smooth as possible. When there is an issue or question, staff are always willing to problem solve and get back to you. Communication is always key when you have a loved one in assisted living. During the covid 19 lockdown it has been a difficult time not only for residents but family as well. The Woodlands has kept us informed and also tries to keep us in contact with our loved ones in creative ways. The Woodlands is more than an assisted living facility - it is an extended family! The Woodlands at Hillcrest is a beautiful facility inside and out! From the smiling faces as you enter the front door, the fun activities that bring the laughter and smiles to the residents! Lets talk about the food! AMAZING! I love working with such a knowledgeable and dedicated team! During these recent months of covid-19, with ever changing information and protocols, this team has come together to make adjustments, lift each other, our residents and families up and keep this facility as safe as possible. I recently received a tour of the Woodlands at Hillcrest and was extremely impressed by the community and its staff. I was greeted personally by the Executive Director, Hannah Elliott, who treated me to a yummy cappuccino from the cafe and gave me a thorough tour of both sides of the community. They have a variety of fun activities for their residents; great amenities like a salon, massage room, gym, and theater; delicious and ever-changing menus; pets allowed in resident rooms; and more. Plus, I was very impressed with the memory care work they are doing for residents with dementia - especially the sensory activities throughout the community. I also noticed that each staff member that we met in the hall was polite and friendly. Its really an absolutely beautiful and friendly community!

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences from all the staff from the first phone call inquiring about services to all the help and support during move in and the wonderful care that my mother has received since moving in. I would HIGHLY recommend The Woodlands to anyone needing care. The facility is beautiful and very well maintained and all of the staff is amazing. Definitely 5 STARS!!! And a BIG thank you to Jenny for all of her help from start to move in.

We were so grateful to find The Woodlands for our parents. We knew they needed help before winter as Mom has dementia and Dad was becoming depressed as he quit driving this summer. They moved the first of November and love the food and all the outings and activities they provide. We always check their calendar on their website to see what they will be doing today. We never find them in their apartment! It is SO good to see Dad smiling again and Mom is loving all the crafts. Dad was so pleased with the way they honor the residents who are veterans. It is beautifully decorated and the food is very good....order off the menu from the waitress and the menu changes weekly. I look forward to living here in the future as well!

I love working here! The environment is very upbeat, and other staff members are wonderful to work with. There are so many activities for residents and staff members alike to participate in. I have such a satisfying feeling every day that I leave work because I was able to help at least one person, and to put a smile on their face, to make their life even a little bit easier.

My dad moved into this residence inn February 2020. Although Ive not been to the residence (we live in another state) you can feel the love of the staff through their Facebook page and Im so very grateful for the care they provide.

The Woodlands at Hillcrest is amazing! The staff are always so welcoming when we visit my grandma! There are several activities during the day that she loves! She loves to visit with the other ladies and gentlemen that reside there, which is good for her to have that interaction! She has always been a picky eater but says nothing but great things about the food and the food service! When she was living at home, she didnt like to go out of her house much. Since living at the woodlands, she has been on several outings with other residents, including shopping! She is still able to have independence! I am so glad we were introduced to the woodlands!! I highly recommend everyone take a visit there if you are looking for a placement for any family member!

My mother has been living at Woodlands for about 10 months. Love the newness. Its bright and cheery. The staff is usually very welcoming still. My mom loves that they say hi in the hall and all know her by name. That thrills her. Although she will always miss her home, we feel she is safe and the staff is knowledgeable.
