Memory Care was understaffed and turn over was high. Food portions small. During Covid they did little to protect residents. My father contracted Covid there and died. The staff was rude. My father complained that the pain management was not adequate. He called often and begged to be picked up. His being put there is one of my biggest regrets. This facility presents itself as a hospice. It is not. Eastern NE Office on Aging will tell you. Your family member’s physician will tell you. It is poorly managed and run down. One Sunday when I tried to visit my father the person who eventually came to the door said she was the only staff there. Alone with how many medically fragile residents?!!! It’s all about house them until they die and rake in the money. My siblings wrote nice reviews of this awful place I’m assuming to make themselves feel better about their selfish decision to dump our father in a place he asked not to go to.

Our family member was recently at the memory care cottages at Silver Ridge and they have been amazing and are now all dear friends for life! I hope they all know how much they are appreciated. Faith the marketer and the Connor House Team are blessings to the senior community . You all were amazing!

Our family is so thankful for the outstanding care and sense of community our aunt has found at Hillcrest Silver Ridge. From our very first visit, we felt welcomed and reassured and that’s thanks in large part to Faith, who took us on a tour the same day we reached out over our Aunt. Her warmth, professionalism, and genuine concern for our aunties well-being made a lasting impression. She guided us through every step of the transition with compassion and clarity. The entire team at Hillcrest Silver Ridge has been exceptional. The staff are kind, attentive, and truly go above and beyond to make residents feel comfortable, safe, and respected. A huge shout out to Samantha & Rhonda who have always been a huge help with my aunt getting to her appointments and getting her out of her funk with fun activities . The facility itself is beautiful, clean, and decorated and designed to feel like home. My aunt especially enjoys the great food, social events, and the opportunity to connect with others in such a positive environment. Most importantly, we now have peace of mind knowing that she’s not only well cared for, but also thriving. We highly recommend Hillcrest Silver Ridge to any family looking for exceptional assisted living care for their loved ones.

Hillcrest Silver Ridge is amazing. Every person that works there is more than accommodating, helpful and friendly. It is a beautiful and spacious facility. I love that there are separate areas for family gatherings . The residents that live there are vibrant and welcoming. Sydney Riepe, the marketing coordinator,, is amazing, She locked us in from the first day we met her. She spent s lot of time with us, touring and answering questions. She is always a phone call or text away with immediate responses. We love this facility for our mom and are so happy she is at Hillcrest Silver Ridge. From the day my mom moved in, they have accommodated her with every request from maintenance to housekeeping. Everyone that works there has a positive attitude that we have met.. From Hailey the administrator., Sam at the front desk, Rebecca housekeeping, Julia - care tech and Dave maintenance have all made it a very pleasant experience,. We love this community for our mom and so thankful for Sydney and all of the staff there.

We recently moved my mom into Silver Ridge. The experience and staff were all top notch. They took time to explain everything, make sure we were comfortable and most of all made my mom feel welcome. Since moving in the care and trust has only grown and I know we made the right choice for my mom! I look forward to visiting mom and know she is in good hands and will be well taken care of as long as she is there.

It's sad to say, but Hillcrest Silver Ridge Memory Care is NOT the place to put your loved ones. The Memory Care facility has very little to offer people with diminished mental skills. No activities for them other than watching TV. The smell reminds one of an old fashioned nursing home from the 1970's. Watching people over there just waste away is sad to see. And finally, the owners and administrators of Hillcrest SR will do nothing more than comment on this review as if they don't know the truth. They will blame others and claim they "can't please everyone". Don't bother with Hillcrest Silver Ridge for any Memory Care. It will be the worst experience for your family and loved ones.

I met with Sydney Riepe for a tour of the facility and to talk about my father's needs. Sydney was very helpful and compassionate at a stressful time for myself and my father. Very impressed with the facility and the options they have for my father. The facility was very clean and organized and very welcoming from the staff when I arrived.

Memory care. Cleaning of resident rooms does not happen. Room is disgusting. May want to clean your loved one's room weekly yourself. Have pictures that I wish I could post. Food is gross. Staff turn over is ridiculous, Patients' belongings get thrown away and go missing. Activities used to be good and age appropriate, now basically non existent. New administrator views residents in memory care as "not needing anything because they can't remember anyway." And now they want to build a new facility in Gretna when they can't even appropriately address the issues at the building they have. Memory Care residents benefit from consistency, however the new administrator insists on moving staff all over the place then they wonder why some of the residents get agressive.

Although quite pleasing upon entry don't the ambiance distract you. Please consider talking with residents before placing your loved ones. What appears to be a good placement is less than ideal. Residents are left to their own due to lack of staffing. Staff is overworked, underpaid, and underappreciated. There are frequent medication errors, residents' requests are often left unanswered by the administration. Accommodations and promises made at admission are not met. The food has never been appealing or healthy and this has been a concern for over a decade. There are more concerns than I can discuss here, and retaliation is a major concern. Please listen to the residents, they are the ones who endure and live there. Please pay attention to what your loved ones are saying. Just because someone isn't being "physically abused" doesn't mean they aren't being neglected. The money paid to these facilities should provide better care. It doesn't matter if these are private pay or government funded. Remember the residents and staff are human beings. Something the administration seems to forget, money won't mean a thing if there is no one get it from.

I highly recommend Silver Ridge Assisted Living Center. My frequent visits and conversations indicated my father received excellent care from an exemplary staff in the extreme circumstances presented by the pandemic. My father believed he was well cared for. He enjoyed the opportunity to meet people and win at Bingo. Silver Ridge even arranged for soldiers from the local military base to visit my father, a World War II veteran. As my father’s health deteriorated, the hospice team closely monitored him for his advanced cancer. I know that he received the best possible care from a well-run, top-notch assisted living center that kept us well-informed of his condition and concerns. -- Tom Bruce

Silver Ridge Memory Care Facility was a blessing for our family. From the time of admission to the final days of our loved one, we had a facility and staff who were nothing short of amazing. The devotion of the staff was truly heart warming.

I cannot begin to explain how amazing of a place SilverRidge is. The staff is beyond friendly, caring, and compassionate. And what I love most about SilverRidge is the fact that they are family owned. There's a big difference when you go to a franchise/corporate place versus family owned. From the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave, you can tell that you're with people that care. My grandmother has been going through some tough spots and recently just moved into SilverRidge from an Independent Living Center. It could not have been a smoother transition. Lisa and her staff were there to offer a helping hand the entire time, not to mention the knowledge and passion they have there for the elderly. It puts me and my family at peace knowing that she's in such good hands.

Lisa and her staff do a great service for their residents. SilverRidge is locally, family owned which provides a much different environment than many other assisted living communities. I know Lisa very well, she cares deeply for the residents that reside there. Their room rates are affordable and you get all of the amenities needed to live a fulfilling, active lifestyle. I take clients of mine to Lisa because I know they will be happy and get great service while living at SilverRidge!

The facility is clean and vibrant, offering a positive supportive environment for those that reside their. The staff is compassionate and continue to go above and beyond!
