My mother has been living at Ridgewood Independent Living for almost 12 years. I continue to visit all retirement communities, and continue to concur that she has the nicest apartment in the city, with the best view. ( nature) The new management has worked very hard to keep the residents safe and happy during the pandemic. In general, I feel they are paying attention to detail, and are well on top of things. I would highly recommend Ridgewood!!

The atmosphere at ridgewood it wonderfully home like. The morning sunrise is so beautiful and picturesque. The staff is very caring! I would recommend ridgewood to all that I love.

Small town living, right next to the city. There are so many great things to say about this community. The staff are phenomenal, everyone treats each resident like family. There are activities that will appeal to just about everyone, and the food is AMAZING. One tour of the building will make you see how amazing this community really is!

My grandmother is a patient at the facility and had a medical emergency on the phone with me, I called the front desk and they immediately sent a nurse who determined she needed to go to the hospital. Incredibly fast response time and they were so caring.

Lovely location, and basically a nice facility. However, its not been kept up during the past couple of years...lots of little issues like an elevator that sounds like its going to fail every time it starts up, chipping paint inside and out, a community bus thats not running and has been sitting idle in the parking lot for months. Staff turnover appears to be high and new staff dont seem to have adequate training and supervision, especially in the dining rooms. Some staff members go above and beyond.

The residents and staff are very friendly and super helpful! The food is fantastic...just like in a fine dining restaurant. Everyone is happy and enjoyable to be around. The activities are fun, with lots of different things going on all the time. It's beautiful! It feels like home!
