After a family member had to spend some time here I can without reservation say this place is truly amazing. The facilities are well maintained and very nice. The staff are friendly and very caring. In my experience both Candice Garrison and BJ Miles are both truly two of the best nurses I’ve ever had care for my grandfather. You can tell that for them this isn’t just a job it’s a calling. They go above and beyond in every way to make sure your family is treated like family and not just another body in a bed. They always have a smile on their face and work with you to understand the situations and what’s going on. I give the facility 5 stars but these two wonderful nurses deserve way more than 5 stars!

I'm currently here and I am pleased with my care. I love several of my CNA. Kae, Latesha, sam, selene and many more are caring and nice. You can tell they love us. Lisa my nurse is fantastic and attentive. The only problem I have is the food could be better. The entertainment committee is very organized and keeps us busy, they give us a choice in what we do.

Dad has been at LHCC for about 3 months. The transition of having him there and no longer at home has been a huge one. The staff at LHCC have assisted us in all aspects of the transition. When we had concerns they listened and made efforts to ensure we were heard. We appreciate how they are there for him and us both and their communication w us is top notch. Dad's nurse Ira, who I see there often, is very compassionate and present with dad. The CNA's say the love him! The activity directors are very involved and always try to keep him busy and included in as many activities as possible. The admin staff has been very supportive and responsive. Everyone at LHCC is greatly appreciated for all they do in caring of Dad during this difficult time.

Lexington healthcare is a quiet and cute nursing home! My mother really enjoyed her stay and we can not say enough about the therapy team and there cutting edge equipment. I have never seen VR therapy treatments before but they have it!

This facility was fantastic with my grandmothers rehab! The staff was fantastic, facility was clean, and they kept me updated! Any concern or question I had was answered in a professional and timely manner. And they were very helpful in getting her back to where she needed to be to come home!

Don’t know the caregivers assigned to my mother ( room 106 b ) but my mother says everybody is very good to her and she seems to be happy. I have seen the improvements in her since she’s been there . They are doing an exceptional job.

The nurses are really good with the patients, the house keepers do a really good job with keeping the facility clean, activities department does really good with keeping the residents active and involved, and the front desk receptionist is always very welcoming to all! Lexington healthcare, was very gentle and nice spoken with and to us when I was looking to put my dad in a facility for rehab ,when we , my daughter and I was speaking to someone that was over it, she was very nice I felt very sure that I wanted my dad there, they gave him a bear , which I kept because my dad Never made it there for rehab, but they were very nice afterwards and sweet. Thank you for caring .

I think the therapy department does an awesome job working with the residents. The discharge charge/social worker Trish is very helpful to the residents and their families. The activity ladies do a wonderful job at keep the residents entertained and involved. They keep smiles on the residents' faces.

I’m very grateful to have been able to have my husband reside in this facility. Unfortunately he passed away this afternoon in the home. The staff couldn’t have been more supportive, helpful and kind. There were so many wonderful and caring people that tended to his needs and I don’t know everyone’s name. I commend Kristi, Cheryl, Jennifer and Vicki for their care. There were several others who cared as much for him but I don’t remember their names. It was a pleasure to come visit him every day.

I am only giving 5 stars because of therapy and having an opportunity to meet an amazing Social Worker! Trish made sure my brother was ok to end! Why she is a Social Worker at that terrible building is beyond me! Lexington healthcare send this woman to nursing school she has a heart of gold and a great asset to your facility!!

I would like to highlight Stacy Johnson, she was very very helpful with my dad. He couldn’t work his phone so she text me and I called his phone. She spoke with me and asked me if I could speak with him be cause he was very depressed. I also spoke with Stacy when I went to visit my dad and she had some very encouraging and real advice. Rated 2 because rooms are not clean. Floor was filthy. Rooms are too crowded, lot of fall risk. I feel residence briefs not changed regularly, strong unpleasant orders. CNAs are very pleasant, but over worked. Front desk attendants are very welcoming and friendly. Like every thing very understaffed.

I’m currently in the health center. The only thing that needs to be worked on is the asking or distributions medicine. I’ve had a cough from 6 pm yesterday and they finally answered the buzzer 4:45am. My cough had gotten so bad that I have to search for a gag bag. I clicked on the buzzer again for more cough medicine. 8:45am they spoke with me. I’m going to leave it now for your guest when I got the cough medicine

I give my mother laws name.... some happen long the way when they was going to move her to a new place so she can get help... listen what I'm saying they drop my mother laws on floor because she couldn't say anything... she was just blowing bubbles ’’ in her mouth ‘‘‘... first thing they don't have is bed rails to help you up 2 if two people in the room you got to used the bathroom share with person they take their time to come in room see if needed some.... they can be nice to you when you in there... wait till you leave back to that old ways...I feel sorry for about going through they....my mother laws died 3 months top my mother laws died somewhere else I will not give you my mother laws name.... Keep eye on your family in there.... I'm telling the truth...it might look inside it not true ...they drop My mother laws... They drop my mom laws on that's hard floor. After that's drop she wasn't getting better.... She was fluffy and blown bubbles in her mouth. That's true . Do don't let your family be a victim they drop my mother laws on the floor... she was getting ready to move to another place in Winston..... but it didn't happen.. when they drop her.. she was just blowing bubbles ’’ out her mouth ‘‘‘ some happen long the when they drop her... my mother laws was talking to us and eat something next day she couldn't say anything...I My not getting my answer what happened to her

My sister-in-law is in this facility for rehab after a recent fall. While the PT and OT are very good, there are other issues that are subpar to terrible. Her room is a double that shares a bathroom with another double. While that in itself is not necessarily a problem, at least one of the residents using that bathroom needs a toilet attachment to be fit by a staff member, which is left in place after use. When my sister-in-law needs to use the toilet, she often needs to find a staff member to remove the device since she is unable to do it herself. She is a vegetarian, which was not initially put into her record. When it was, the kitchen continued to serve her meals, which included meats for the protein. The floor staff was helpful about correcting the errors, but they should not have happened. Tonight, though, she was served fish nuggets, which she is allergic to. Her chart does show that allergy, and she had asked for a grilled cheese for that meal. Such carelessness could have been catastrophic. When a family member asked someone in the billing department about her discharge date, the answer was the date based on the original expected duration of stay. This was a cause of distress where the billing department would have been better to have deferred that question to a member of the treatment team or the social worker. As you may have been able to glean from this review, this is not my first rodeo with a care facility. This place would not be at all appropriate for someone without the ability to advocate for themselves.
