I was recently hired and The staff has been so welcoming. The atmosphere is pleasant. All the Residents are great and I love that I'm being given extensive training so that I am equipped to do my job well. I'm looking forward to working for the company for years to come.

Prior to Mother's residence she was depressed and often angry. Since arriving at Brookdale she has blossomed and is happy and engaged with the community. She has returned to being the social butterfly I recall as a child.

When our mother moved into Brookdale, it was like she had always been there. She made friends the very first day. The staff are incredible! Mom says the food is great and that the staff are wonderful to her. Not to mention it is very clean and beautiful! We could not be happier that mom is at Brookdale.

My father-in-law has been at this facility 2 weeks as of tomorrow and we have nothing but great things to say! First, Liz and Michelle are awesome!!! Kind, knowledgeable and patient! Liz even got a broom and helped with finishing clean up in order to expedite things for us to move his things in and decorate the room!!! He is adjusting and participates in the various crafts and activities they provide and enjoys his meals!! Whenever we call or visit we are always greeted with smiling faces or a cheery voice over the phone. They answer all questions we have and provide us with any extra details we need or may enjoy hearing! We are very happy with our decision!!!

I am impressed with the way this particular Brookdale location stays in touch with the community. Ive been in the long term care industry for years and Michelle Atkins sets this location apart from others by proactively engaging the public in an ongoing basis. The older veteran community has a special place in their heart for Michelle and her patriotic nature. This is sure to prompt future residents to consider Brookdale Lexington first if and when the need arises for assisted living accommodations.

I needed memory care for my father — and quickly. Brookdale easily proved to be the best option in town and the entire team has been a pleasure to deal with during a very stressful time. I have witnessed the residents happy and laughing as they socialize with other residents in the common areas. They are enjoying activities that allow them to make new friends at the same time. The clinical staff is truly attentive to the residents needs as well as compassionate. They assist the residents with any concerns. The staff is more than just kind faces; they truly are thoughtful, respectful, kind and dependable. My family member was in another facility which could not compare to Brookdale......it is AWESOME. The ED is amazing and has a genuine concern that the residents are happy. She also makes sure the day to day operation runs smoothly everyday. Most EDs never leave their office but Brookdale of Lexington Executive Director is always checking on the residents and addressing any concerns they may have right away. The residents are truly amazing to work with and the smile on their faces are well worth it. If I had to choose a place for a loved one then this would be it. IT TRULY is a community that treats each resident with dignity and respect.

I worked here and I miss it terribly. I loved the ladies that I worked with and the residents were amazing. Getting to know them and their families was truly an experience I will never forget. I wish everyday that I had not quit, but due to unforseen circumstances and bullying at the workplace...I had no choice. The phone lines are not the greatest

My sister, Shirley Link, has lived at Brookdale Lexington for a little over 7 years. It's an awesome place. They take great care of her and have lots of activities which she enjoys. She has many friends and enjoys socializing with all of them. When I go to visit her all of the staff and residents are very nice and friendly. I appreciate all they do for her.

I just recently joined the Brookdale family. The moment I walked in for my interview I instantly felt welcomed and at home. The residents all had smiles on their faces and the employee's were all very friendly & welcoming. The amount of care that is put into making sure everyone in this community is happy and healthy is unbelievable. I automatically knew that Brookdale was the place that I wanted to be. This isn't just a job it's a second home & family. I'm looking foward to the relationships that are going to be built with my residents and co-workers!
