Had alot of trouble getting thru on their phone system & initially put a bad review which seem to get some attention. Courtney, called apologized for the issues, they've been having issues with the call system. Courtney was very helpful, provided a lot of good info so we are happy to move forward with getting our relatives into the facility.

We made the decision to place our Aunt with Brookdale and it has been the best decision we could have ever made. She has so many things to keep her busy and has made friends with wonderful residents. We decided to place Dad here after speaking and visiting several other facilities. Special thanks to Denita, Thelma, Lauri, Nate, and the rest of the staff for their dedication, hard work, and compassion while getting him settled. This has become a home away from for Dad, and the group here gives it the heart. We will always be grateful to them.

I have visited Brookdale-Lawndale Park here in Greensboro NC twice; once with my parents preparing for their retirement living and last Friday for my husband, looking for respite care. Both times the staff were extremely helpful and kind. In fact, I walked in unannounced on a Friday at 4pm and immediately got a complete tour by Nate and Denita (Sales Manager). I left less than an hour later knowing that this was the place for my husband for 2 weeks. The out-of-pocket price was lower than I expected, as well. I have visited many assisted living facilities in the last decade and this was by far the nicest, for the money. Clean, comfortable, friendly, and bright. Several residents were sitting in rocking chairs on the front porch when I arrived, all smiling and chatting, seemingly content. All were dressed nicely, and appeared well cared-for. The rooms were roomy, for lack of a better word, the bathrooms ample, hallways clean and DID NOT SMELL! Y’all know what I mean.There were bookshelves filled with books, an activity director just cleaning up from the FAther’s Day Fish Fry, a large black piano in the lobby, and a grill just waiting to be lit in the courtyard. I truly recommend putting this place on the top of your list when you decide to start looking for a place for your parents, or yourself, to learn of the other benefits I didn’t even mention here. And ask for Denita. She’s awesome! 🙂

I made a delivery there today and I saw an older gentleman sitting outside with a gash on his head bleeding through the bandage or taped gauze on it and it made me come to the reviews just to see nothing but pretty bad reviews I hope this guy isn’t being neglected

My Mother went to the ER with 2 wounds that were badly infected. From her toes up to her chin .. middle of leg was red. This is total neglect. I don't recommend Brookdale anymore. It used to be an ok place.
