I am so pleased with my experience at Morningside. I helped my sister move in two weeks ago and it has been a stress free and care-filled experience. Joy has been a delight to work with and All the staff have been helpful and friendly to me and my sister. She is settling in well and I am so relieved to have her at such a loving place. My sister is proud to call Morningside her new home and that warm’s my heart. I definitely recommend Morningside for your loved one.

My mom is at Morningside and (though I haven’t been to visit yet) she says everyone is very nice and the food is really good! If she’s happy, I’m happy. Thanks for taking good care of my mom. She’s an angel and deserves great loving care.

My mother has been a resident at Morningside of Gastonia for over 6 years. The staff treat her like family! The fact that she has had many of the same assistants from the day she moved in says a lot about the way the facility treats the staff and the residents. As far as the services, my mother enjoys the food and activities that they have-- many outings, musical guests, celebrations, and so on-- all while staying within the safety recommendations for COVID. Socialization is an important factor for the elderly, and Morningside ensures this is incorporated into daily activities. Overall, my mother and I give Morningside 5 Stars!

Searching for the right assisted living facility for a loved one is never easy and can be stressful. Recently, I had the opportunity to tour Morningside Of Gastonia while looking for a place for my mother. From making the appointment to touring the facility, everything went seamlessly. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and was impressed with the well- maintained and casual comfort of the facility. I met with the Community Relations Director, Joy Wiley. Her wealth of knowledge and compassion for her job took the stress I was feeling out of the equation. She was patient with all of my questions and detailed with her answers. After our meeting, Joy has reached out on several occasions just to follow up and always promptly returns my phone calls. Her professionalism, accessibility, and dedication to Morningside Of Gastonia is a huge asset. She not only cares for the well-being of her residents but also puts the families’ concerns in high regard as well which is very beneficial and comforting as they prepare and choose a trusted place for their loved one. I was also impressed with the friendliness and longevity of many of the staff members. Morningside of Gastonia does not disappoint!

My mom has been a resident almost a year. The staff haa gone above and beyond throughout Covid. She has made friends and enjoyed the fellowship, activities, etc. prior to Covid. She cant wait for them to restart. Her care has been impeccable from the nursing staff to the cafeteria staff, office staff, and everyone in between.

My mother-in-law has been at Morningside since 2017. From day one, the team there has always demonstrated genuine caring for what is best for her. My mother moved to Morningside in 2017, and it was the best decision we have ever made. We no longer lose sleep over if shes safe or eating or taking her medications properly. The staff is wonderful and has remained consistent which adds another layer of comfort, knowing that familiar faces are there for mom each day, Moms social life is full with a variety of activities to choose from, bingo and bridge club are her two favorites. But she also enjoys the weekly outings, and live entertainment. We couldnt be happier with Morningside of Gastonia, it is awesome!!

Our mother moved in this past February, and its honestly been the best thing thats happened to her. She enjoys the company of many new friends and a staff that is extraordinary! They all make her feel so special. In addition to the community feel, she enjoys regular activities and planned programs. We cant thank them enough for making this transition so smooth!

Simply magnificent community! The staff is wonderful caring loving compassionate sincere giving! Our aunt was here for a while & treated like a queen. Her rights respected, had dignity, privacy respected. She felt safe & was comfortable in her suite. She really like the choices she had in foods & programs & in her care! I have worked with staff, residents and families at Morningside of Gastonia. Each time has been a great experience. They have fun activities and events for their residents and families. The staff all pitch in and help when they can, and are always very friendly, every time I am in the community.

My mother lived at Morningside for seven years. She received an outstanding level of care. Those who cared for my mother treated her as a loved family member. They respected her desire for privacy, but provided what she needed. Yes, there is always some staff turnover at assisted living facilities, but many of the staff were there the whole time my mother was a resident. These jobs are demanding and dont pay well; the women (mostly) who do them see their work as ministry and exhibit patience and compassionate care for the elderly with physical and or cognitive limitations. My mother was a very private person and I feared that she would resist when she needed help with showering. But because of the relationship she had with the aide who helped her, my mother accepted the help. The staff has an uncanny knack for detecting UTIs and were correct every time they alerted me to the possibility.

My Mom has lived in Morningside for 6 years and my Dad lived there for 9 months. The staff is so professional and helpful. They were so caring to Dad and have taken excellent care of Mom. The people that work there are so creative and come up with great activities for the residents. Last week they had a carnival. They have an excellent variety in food and it tastes great. Now they have a rehab facility at the site to help the residents. I cant say enough about how great this place is for seniors.
