Carolina Care is one of the most top notch facilities that I have ever seen. It is very clean. The staff is very friendly and I just cannot say enough good about them. They treated our family while my father-in-law was in there like we were their family and my mother was there several years ago and there was the same way then. Like I said, I would highly recommend carolina Care to anyone who is looking for a rehabilitation room or even a long-term room.

I went to Carolina Care for therapy to get stronger. The staff were friendly, especially Lisa, the Business Office Manager. She checked on me throughout the day and made me feel right at home. My room was clean. The rehab staff worked with me to help me get stronger. The food was good and they give you plenty to eat. Everyone has been very attentive and they kept me in the loop as far as my progress. Overall, I highly recommend Carolina Care.

The greatest of 5 Rehabs that I have been in for past 2 years!! After my condition improved, it's like a vacation much needed! All the different staff from Administration, Social Worker, Housekeeping Erma, food service,WODERFUL CNA'S AND NURSES, AND WOW WHAT A TERRIFIC Physical therapy Dept . I wish I could name them all by name!!! P.T, Emily, Greg, Angie,Amy,Kristen, Lydia, Donna and of course Charlie! CNA'S: PRECIOUS SALLY AND MELISSA, SUNNY, AND THE ENERGIZER BUNNY(Lynn) her and Sally never stop!!! It is hard to remember all the Cna's names, but they all are very attentive friendly and professional with their care!!+ I tell everyone I meet about Carolina care Rehab and what a great experience I have had and choose C.C . If ever needed! The facility is so clean and I have w/c'd all over, and you can see the nursing home is just attentive! The Activity Director, Sherry is great, beautiful smile and joyful! I am so blessed to have been here for 4 weeks of TLC that I want forget! Don't want to forget Wanda, from Medical Records she never forget to speak to me when she came to get records beside my room! I have been assisting a friend with moving into Carolina Care. Honestly, I was worried at first, but I can tell you it has been a great transition for him so far (and I will definitely update if that changes). All of the staff, from nurses and maintenance to assistants appear professional, well-groomed, and extremely accommodating. Not one employee has seemed bothered when asked a question or when a request is made. I have also seen great teamwork throughout. Everyone is pleasant, and I am truly amazed at the level of care they are providing him. I am very happy and look forward to seeing him thrive there. Another perk: it is beautiful, and they are currently in the process of remodeling.

My mother was admitted there after a two week hospital stay due to blood clots in her leg and lung.Our family is grateful for the compassionate and dedicated care that was provided to her. The nurses and CNAs on the rehab unit were attentive and treated her with dignity and respect. The rehab team was amazing. They were very helpful and kind to her while regaining her strength. The administrator is a great guy. He was there from day one to show us around the facility. The social worker was also very helpful with her discharge needs. he had everything set up so it made The transition much easier. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The large private room was a real plus! It was a comfortable environment for her. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone that might need it.

My mother in law went to Carolina Care for rehab after breaking 4 ribs from a fall. I have been in and out of many facilities with my own parents in the past. I could tell when I walked through the door, this was a special place. It was very clean, smelled good, staff were having positive interactions with residents, activities were great, hair tech was great, and nurses and assistants were on top of things. Thanks for what you do for those who need care. Also, we have a cousin there who had a stroke. He has been here several months and bragged about the care he receives here!

Carolina Care Center Health and Rehab in Cherryville NC was in a quiet rural setting, provided a large private room with a lovely sunny sitting room/parlor across the hallway, had excellent physical therapy and occupational therapy services for my 89 y/o mother who was there for two weeks after hip surgery. It was our first choice for short term rehab for our mom.The administrator visited her daily, either a M.D. or N.P. rounded on her daily, staff made good effort to get to know her and provide specific preferences for her daily care. The social worker coordinated her discharge needs which made for a very seamless transition back to her home:) A good REHAB experience!

My father was admitted here after a hospital stay for a GI bleed. They are working with him to get his strength back and I have nothing but good things to say about this facility. The staff is amazing, the facility itself it very clean. It does not have that hospital smell. He is fed well, although he doesn't like much as he is a picky eater. His great-grandsons as well as my daughters service dog are allowed to come visit. They make sure dad is clean, comfortable and safe in his room and at therapy. He can even come home for the Thanksgiving holiday to spend it with his family, which I think is really nice.

Carolina Care Health and Rehabilitation is a first class facility. As i was brought into the center, I met Travis, the administrator. He is very engaging and we talked as he came with me to my room. From the first introduction, he remembered my name and even stopped by my room to see if i needed anything. Carolina Care exceeded my expectations in every way!! It’s very clean”-housekeeping cleans and mops every room everyday. The meals cover every food group and every meal i had was delicious. Twice daily i got physical and occupational therapy from highly trained personnel whom worked skillfully to address my physical deficiences Coming here for rehabilitation from lower back surgery, the physical therapists worked with me to learn how to shower and use the equipment to dress myself, and how to do everyday things without bending, lifting or twisting. Because i live alone, they helped build my skill set to be safe and confident in my ability to move back home. I chose Carolina Care based on recommendations from friends who had family here. And I’m certainly glad i listened to them. The skilled doctors, nurses, CNA’s and the administrative department heads i met, were always helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. In conclusion, i highly recommend Carolina Care for you and your loved ones. Personally i have been in rehab facilities in Durham, my brother has been in rehab centers in Hickory and Shelby. None came close to the high standards i set in searching for a rehab home for myself. However Carolina Care met all my high standards with flying colors!! I thank GOD for providing Carolina Care as a facility that will help others to get the unequaled care in skilled nursing and rehabilitation!! The best decision you ever will make, is choosing Carolina Care in Cherryville, NC

My wife was ar Carolina care for a couple weeks after a lengthy Hospital stay. All the nursing staff treated her with dignity and respect. Everyone was very professional .The rehab folks did a great job. The room was very nice and always kept very clean by the cleaning staff. Management was top notch always keeping us informed about insurance and other matters. Over all a very good experience. We highly recommend to anyone needing rehab. Almost forgot the food was very good and always on time.

I’ve had to stay at Carolina Care twice during a 4 month period. If I ever had to do in patient physical therapy again I would go back to Carolina Care because they are the best in this business. Everyone on the staff are wonderful! The CNA’s and Nurses was always attentive to my needs and encouraged me to keep pushing myself to get better. The doctors and nurse practitioners was top notch! They took the time to listen to my concerns and never seemed to rush off when they was seeing me. The Physical Therapy helped push me to get myself better. When I started my stay at Carolina Care I was in a wheelchair. Thanks to the physical therapist I’m up and walking only using the help of a cane. I wish I could give Carolina Care a higher rating than 5 stars! Hopefully I don’t ever need inpatient physical therapy, but if I do Carolina Care will be my first and only choice!

My mom was there for Rehab recently and I must admit I was a little nervous.. but they actually did a wonderful job and she had no complaints!! Room was spacious, she loved going to sit out in the courtyard. The staff was very friendly and responsive when I had questions. My mom was here and they treated her with dignity and respect. They were always polite and kind to her. When she didnt want what was on her tray, they went to the kitchen and brought her something she would eat and for that i am truly grateful. The nurses and the staff always greeted us (her family )with a smile and let us know how mom was doing that day. They treated my mom with gentle hands and kind hearts..we could not have asked for her to be treated any better..they treated her like she was royalty. I appreciate everything they did for my mom...i cant help my sister(Pamela Parker) lies and wants pity and attention.
