I want to extend a big thank you to the staff members at "The Parc @ Sharon Amity" facility in Charlotte, NC. I really appreciate how everyone was professional, caring, thoughtful.... my Mother had friends, she was well taken care of, loved, entertained & I didn't have to worry or stress about anything. I'm truly grateful for all the help & support everyone extended to us when we needed it in every aspect.

I brought my husband to The Parc after I had to move him from a Brookdale facility due to his alleged "behavioral problems." My husband was a high functioning, very active dementia patient who stayed up most nights. Brookdale was intolerant of his behavior and I wasn't sure what to expect when I brought him to the Parc. Wayne and his team immediately embraced him and saw and understood his unique presentation of the disease and the Parc became his home until he passed away in July. Although the Parc is not the plush Brookdale and you are always going to find staff who are just doing the job verses having their hearts in it, overall, I connected with the staff and caregivers who helped my husband and me during the hardest time of our lives. I'm extremely grateful to all of them who helped support us and God bless those who work tirelessly to help our loved ones with this terrible disease because it is not an easy job. THANK YOU!

My Grandmother was a resident from January 2019 until she passed away last week, February 15, 2020. I was so apprehensive of placing her in a memory care facility because of the horror stories you can hear about them. I never once had any concerns about my Grandmothers care or any complaints for any of the staff. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that I came in contact with here were genuine, kind and friendly. It was such a weight off of me and my family when she moved in and we knew she was being properly cared for 24 hours a day. It takes special people to work with Alzheimers/ Dementia patients and I can honestly say that the staff and management here are all special. I do not know what I would have done the last year if it were not for this facility. Can not say enough good things about them and my family and I are grateful beyond words.

I'm at The Parc weekly for the past 2yrs to visit my grandmother, who has Alzheimer's. The staff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. They do a great job of remembering the intricacies of each resident. Very happy with the care. -----updating my review bc there was a management change, they took some of my grandma's new clothes before she even wore them so it wasnt a laundry mix (they said they couldn't locate them in lost and found or anyone else's closet, dont believe they even looked for it), lost 2 pair of her shoes AND had someone else in her new wheelchair, when I found the chair it was nasty and had cigarette burns, she doesn't smoke and her name is written all over it. ***Shame on the thief that stole her clothes!***
