My mom has lived at Azalea Estates for over five years, and it has been an exceptional place for her to call home. She is safe, supported by a warm community, and cared for by an incredibly special staff ” all while maintaining the independence that matters so much to her. The building is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully managed by Chris and Windy. Their leadership sets the tone for everything: cleanliness, organization, kindness, and a genuine commitment to creating a home‘like environment for more than 100 residents. You can feel the care in every detail. We are especially grateful for the additional services available on-site, including their Affordable Care Staff and both Occupational and Physical Therapy. These resources have made a meaningful difference in my mom’s ability to age gracefully in a caring environment. Azalea Estates is ahead of the curve ” my mom is happy, and it really saved the day for our family because we know she's in a place where people genuinely care.

My mother has lived at Azalea Estates for three years. Despite recent staffing changes, the sense of community here remains strong. The activities programs continue to provide enriching experiences for residents, and the dining options remain enjoyable. While turnover can be concerning to some, the community has demonstrated resilience and a continued focus on the resident, which is truly appreciated. Thank you to management for all you do and for ensuring you have the best team in place for my mother!

While searching for a place for my mom to transition to as she ages we were recommended by numerous people to look into Azalea and we were all very impressed with both the facility and the staff. It felt like walking into a comfortable and welcoming home. Wendy, Kaitlin and everyone we met with were all extremely helpful, honest, and kind. We decided on choosing Azalea for my Mom and felt extremely relieved and comfortable with our decision. Thanks for all the help and honesty while making this difficult decision.

I had the pleasure to tour Azalea Estates on 9/4/24. I was so pleased with the beauty and clean surroundings, friendly employees and Residents that I met during the tour. Katelyn, Marketing and Sales, took me on the tour. She is a lovely lady, that gave a thorough tour of this Beautiful Independent Living Apartment Complex. I am considering the possibility of getting an Apartment in this Complex within the next year.

My late Father moved into Azalea Estates in December of 2020 until December 2022. While he was a resident at Azalea everything was excellent. From the layout of the apartments to the lovely decor throughout the community as well as the Managers and staff to the food in the dining room, this community was stellar. Big thank you to Peter, Mary, Ashley, Wade, Bruce, Matt, Sheila and Ralph for making my Dad's two years here enjoyable ones.

Beautiful place. The staff us friendly and will help with all your questions. No buy in and rental is month to month with 30 days notice of intent to vacate. Three meals a day with restaurant style approach. Rooms have cook tops with no oven. An oven is available for use in the bistro area.

I've worked in communities all over the country similar to this one, but the team that runs this property has everyone beat. From Tampa to Santa Barbara, coast to coast, the vibe here is what other places hope to achieve. An "at home" feel, among friends, and fine dining. They have a LOT of activities and a really good activities director who obviously loves his people. There's even a little putting green and a movie theater! If you want to hang out in a library they have that, as well as a fitness center. It's well decorated, too. Pet friendly ° Laundry on site.

Walked through today with my 85 YO mother. We went in and she was calling it a "rest home" we came out and she was calling it a resort. I am not sure she is convinced to leave her house of 45 years, which she needs to for safety reasons, but this certainly helped.

Kylie provided the most incredibly welcoming tour of Azalea Estates including a delicious lunch on arrival. The living space is beautiful and everyone most gracious and friendly. Check out the incredible movie theater with authentic popcorn machine. I wish I was old enough to live there!

I have been exploring options for retirement living in the Chapel Hill area and have had a wonderful experience in working with Azalea Estates. This building is definitely 5 star. Not only is the building brand new, but the mangers Peter and Mary are truly outstanding. All the small details that matter went into this building and it’s specifically designed for seniors. Peter and Mary are outstanding in house managers with the insight and experience that truly benefits the residents. You’ll have lots of activities options, exercise rooms, movie theater, arts and crafts etc. You can even get additional personal care services at a fraction of the cost of traditional Assisted Living. Get in when you can, because this place is truly 5 star.
