Our family gives this senior community an A+ for thier hospitality and professionalism. Especially on how Ms. Tee, the manager and Ms. Sierra, the assistant manager go out their way to care and show loving-kindness for the residences. They both made every effort of listening to my dad's needs and concerns as a prospective residents. As well as, the family members feeling comfortable with choosing Cedar Ridge as a place to call home for a loved one I, the daughter of one of their newest resident feels confident that my dad will be treated with dignity and respect because of the time and consideration these ladies and staff members give to us when we took our first and second tour to the community. My family placed my mother (91) there until she needed to move to an assisted living facility 200 miles away to be near her son. The staff and facility were fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a home. She really loved it there and hated she had to move. I would chose it for myself if I ever needed to move into an independent care facility.

I love cedar ridge as it’s definitely my home now. The personnel here is outstanding especially Debra Worth. She is always willing to help each and every resident. She’s well loved. Cedar ridge is an outstanding facility and Debra certainly is part of it!!

I have a brother and sister-in-law that have resided at Holiday Cedar Ridge for almost two years. A few months after their move my wife and I realized a decline in their mental condition. You have to remember that this is a senior living facility and not assisted living. We began to realize our family members needed additional care. However our funds were limited. The staff knew our situation and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable. We didn’t have the funds for assisted living and until now we had no help from social services. The time has now arrived that they need more care than Cedar Ridge or myself can provide. Alamance Social Services has now come to our aid and we will soon be transitioning our loved ones to assisted / memory care. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. The care and love that everyone showed us has been exceptional. Everyone showed their love and patience with our two family members even when I struggled to help. I wish to thank every staff member, employee, and resident that cared or took interest in our two family members. If you are looking for a clean, safe and loving community than you want to visit Cedar Ridge. God bless you all.

My mother is a resident. I could not have picked a better place for her to live. Can't say enough about the staff and the facilities are top notch. Meals are healthy, a wide variety and good home style cooking. Mom is hard to please but she loves Cedar Ridge.

I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Holiday Cedar Ridge. My father was set to move in there from Texas and we signed a lease. Unfortunately his health was not good enough to go into an independent living facility. While he was in the rehab, we let them know that he wasn’t gonna be able to be a resident there. Tee was very understanding and didn’t hit him with any extra charges. Not every place like this. These people have hearts.

I will be moving in on Oct 31st, 2025 and I just need to let everyone know how gracious their entire staff has been to me since the day I took my first tour. There will be so many activities to do there: a fully stocked library, a tv viewing room with a large TV, a wonderful game room for playing cards/board games and it includes a pool table, a large arts and craft room The place just smells wonderful and airy fresh when walking in - my studio apartment will be more than enough space. We had lunch there today and it was served to us in a very lovely way by smiling staff members. The food was absolutely amazing and the dining room is elegant. I've asked a lot of questions from people who live there now and I didn't receive any negative answers. I am counting the days until it is 'move-in' day. (Today's date is October 14, 2025)

Walking in to the pleasant sound of a piano playing in the background, I couldn’t overlook just how clean and open this magnificent establishment is maintained. The staff is absolutely pleasant and welcoming. Can’t say enough how impressed I am about CedarRidge.

My Mother in Law lived here and loved the community. The food, activities, supportive and helpful staff made living here very comfortable.

There is a severe lack of leadership and organization. My mom's apartment is nice but there are many issues. The community is under staffed to meet the needs in food service, housekeeping and maintenance. Food and the lack of service is the most serious. Meals take an hour or more to be delivered. No one would wait that long at any restaurant. The food is most often cold by the time of delivery or they've run out of items. Last Saturday it was chicken tenders, onion rings, and cold slaw. The tenders were cold and they ran out of cold slaw without a substitution. Resident complaints to the management falls on Deaf ears and I've personally called Atria twice without any positive changes. I'd move mom, but she's as most seniors, they hate moving. Mark Mitchell

I have sat with a lot of seniors in retirement homes and I have never sat somewhere where the residents are happy. They are doing a great job there, everyone is always so pleasant always hearing a lot of laughter throughout the facility

The food here SUCKS. They are always changing the menu. You don't know what you're going to get when you sit down in the dining room. They have had a staffing problemssince we moved in January 2023. I am paying more than $5000 a month for a2 bedroom apartment and 2 residents. I am not getting my money's worth. This place is also lacking in facilities for outdoor activities. There is no pool, no shuffle board court, no level ground surrounding the place. The manager proudly pronounced they had purchased a carpet cleaner...but the carpets in the hallway are still filthy. I could go on. But won't. Needless to say GOODBYE Cedar Ridge Update May 27, 2024. Shortly after writing the previous review, I got a visit from a member of the local management who asked a lot of questions and took copious notes. Within a day or two, I received a phone call from Atria headquarters to discuss my concerns. I was direct and expressed my honest thoughts. A couple of weeks later the "Executive Chef" left the facility and the assistant chef took control of the kitchen. Since then the food has been getting better. Today, Memorial Day, there is a crew of commercial carpet cleaners here cleaning all the hallway carpets. I think the place is getting better. And I give the local and corporate management credit. Nobody got defensive or critical of me. The Activities Director has purchased some outdoor games and is scheduling some outdoor time weather permitting. So, I am feeling that my speaking out has made a difference. And Atria is listening Update Sept 14, 2024 Well, things are regressing again. The carpets are filthy again, no outdoor activities, broken air conditioning and washing machines, open trash dump in front lot. 10/11/24 Well the improvement in food was temporary. It has gotten even worse than ever. Tonight I ordered the chicken pot pie and green beans. The green beans were very good. There was a scoop of something else on my plate. I asked the waitress what it was and she told me it was chicken pot pie. I tasted it and pushed the plate away. It was terrible, I couldn't eat it. The beans were good though..

I am so grateful for the staff at Cedar Ridge for their kind and warm regards toward my brother who resides there. They have made him feel like a part of a caring community/family and engages him in all aspects of a creative and unique residential experience. I visited Cedar Ridge with lunch and a tour of the Facility. I was quite impressed with the staff and how happy the residence were. Sierra was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I will definently be moving in within the next several months. I look forward to the next chapter in my life at Cedar Ridge. Thank you Sierra.

My dad, who passed away in June 2023, was a resident at Cedar Ridge for 11 years. My dad loved to serve others as he shared his faith in Christ. The wonderful folks at Cedar Ridge appreciated my dad as a part of their awesome community where the residents and the staff truly care for and respect each other.

I LOVE this place and my mom does also. You don't have to do anything except personal care. They have several activities each day so you can enjoy your retirement. The only negative is that they serve a lot of pork. I would highly recommend Cedar Ridge to anyone.

Cedar Ridge has been a great home for our mom the last 7 months. Unfortunately we are having to up her care which requires us to move her from Cedar Ridge. The staff has always been very supportive mom's needs and easy to work with. I highly recommend this senior living center.

I love this facility and the loyal dedicated staff here. They unselfishly give their time and attention to the residents here. My mom has been here for almost a year now, and, at first, had issues with missing her home. But with the help of Patricia, Megan and Life at Home staff, that was resolved very gently! Then, Steve! What can I say about Steve.....except he is always available to deal with Spectrum, remote controls, phones, etc. Just things that older people don’t understand. And he does it with a smile and an assurance that he will be back. What a wonderful, home-filled environment you have all created here, and my thanks just aren’t enough. God bless you all for making my Mom feel loved.
