It has been a blessing to work with the Executive Director, Christian Smith, along with the nurses and other staff. My family member needed a Medicaid bed and fortunately Alamance house had one! I visit very frequently and i observe the attitude, concern, friendliness and attention to detail from the staff. Their patience and care is truly remarkable. The nurses and Doctor there keep me informed on any changes, concerns or recommendations for my relative and that gives me peace of mind. The community is always clean or being cleaned when i visit. Also, they take great interest in decorating for holidays or special events. I’m always greeted and welcome there. I recommend Alamance House as a great home away from home for a loved one.

My mom has been living in memory care for 8 months now. The staff at Alamance House helped with the transition, and they are doing an excellent job taking care of my sweet mother. She gets hot and nutritious meals, activities to do, and my mom has made friends with several residents and caregivers. I also get updates on her doctor check-ups and her overall health. I get a good overall vibe every time I go to visit her. I can tell the staff cares for their residents, and Jennifer the director is a very compassionate and caring leader. I know my mom is in good hands, and I'm thankful for all they do!

My mother has been in the care of the folks at Alamance House for 6 months now. We live close by so we go visit 3-4 times per week. The staff is always very friendly with my mother and us. The facility is always clean. There is a diverse meal menu posted at the cafeteria door. Mom says the food is good and she says she eats it all. No one is rung in or out of the facility without a staff member keying in their code. In an impatient world this can be at times bothersome to visitors, but we know that no one can just walk in or walk out and that makes us feel secure in my mom’s safety. We have seen a significant improvement in mom over the past few months and are sincerely grateful for the care the Alamance House team provides!

My mom moved in a while back and had trouble adjusting to assisted living. The staff at Alamance House has been wonderful to mom and truly care, helping this adjustment. The Director, Jennifer Evans, has been great to work with and gives a white glove level of service.

I have both parents living at Alamance House, one in assisted living and one in memory care. The staff was very helpful when it came to helping me gather all the information needed to get them admitted. Since they have moved in, all the staff is very friendly and I believe they really care about the residents. They know everyone's name and they are very patient with them. The facility is clean and very secure. I'm very pleased with Alamance House.

I’m thankful for the kindness shown to my mother and our family. They listened when I explained my mom’s needs and helped us with our concerns. Sufficient, adequate. Staff is wonderful - building needs an inground pool. Food is good and I have made a lot of friends and Amy is one of them! I have a cozy bed to sleep in and warm meals to eat.

Alamance House is a WONDERFUL place. My Grandfather has been there for 2 years. They make it feel like home. He has made many new friends there. He gets 3 good hot meals a day. I don't have to worry about him taking his meds because they make sure he gets it. They always keep me updated on him and how he is doing. The workers are wonderful and very caring. They have fun activities and games for them. Birthday parties, bingo, trivia and arts and crafts. Thank you Alamance House for helping me feel better about making the right choice for him and his needs at this stage in his life. Alamance House is Such a Blessing.

I just recently moved my mom into Alamance House. Jennifer and Amy have been wonderful during the move in application and paperwork. The staff seemed welcoming and caring to their residents. My mom likes the food. I can feel at peace that she has found a good place for her memory care. Alamance House was clean and they have lots of activities for their residents.

I recently moved my Mom to Alamance House. She is in severe stages of dementia. Alamance House could not have made the process easier or more pleasant. Such a scary thing to have to do and so having exceptional support was so welcome. Everyone went out of their way to make it as easy and smooth as possible. Mom has adjusted well and everyone has been so supportive. Staff has been friendly and great interaction with patients. Communication, which is vital, has been great. It is such a relief to our family to know that Mom is being well cared for.

Alamance House has been so great to work with getting my mom into the home at the end of February. They have lots of activities.. and Jackie is awesome as the activities director.. I have been there on Fridays and she spends time with singing and getting them moving. Thankful for the Alamance House ...for taking care of mom in the Memory Care Unit!

Alamance House is a great choice for my mom. The staff is not just friendly, but gives a strong sense of "Family". Staff are very professional and patient. I also appreciate the staff keeping me informed of not only important updates, but general information such as progress with mom adjusting, fun activities and events. We put my dad at alamance house and let me tell you, why it's called alamance House they treated him like he was their own dad. Made him feel like it was home. All the staff are wonderful!!! I can not say enough about the staff!! Love them all. We have to move daddy bc now he needs skilled nursing. We will miss everyone at Alamance House!! Don't hesitate to put family member here.

The folks at Alamance House have done a really good job taking care of my mom who has dementia and lives in the memory care unit. The space is always clean and they have residents in the main room, by the nurses station, so eyes will be on them so they don't fall or get hurt. They've done an amazing job of navigating COVID have virtually no issues with positive cases.

mom seems happy when I have visited or called. had a few problems but they seemed to be handled when brought to. the staff's attention. I do wish their were more bingo played as mom loves to play. 🙂
