We really loved our tour of The Reserve at Mills Farm. Kathy, our sales counselor, never rushed us, and answered all of our questions. We stayed and had a delicious lunch that we had served to us in the private dining room. The inside is very nicely decorated as is the outside with beautiful landscaping. We think this is a great fit for our Dad. The only negative is that we wish that they had a vacant apartment available now for him to move in to!!

Beautiful place sure but management and staff are incompetent. Despite our many attempts to bring concerns regarding their Staffing's inability to do their job with compassion and empathy, nothing was ever done to improve or make any changes. As if you're talking to a wall. Short Staff most of the time leaving residents to fend for themselves + cognitive deterioration = falls, accidents etc. I don't recommend this place if you really care for your loved ones.

This is one of the nicest facilities I have ever stepped inside. Everyone is very nice and approachable. They treat each and every resident as if it were their own family member. Highly recommend!

Run far and run fast. It is gorgeous on the outside, but once you are on the inside you'll see all the flaws. I am sure it is totally fine for IL – but specifically in Memory Care there is no structure, respect or support. Worst of all there is no communication! All the issues start at the top - employees are not treated well & consequently do not like or trust management. Ridiculously excessive staff turnover. Mgt will respond to your concerns & requests for information only if they feel like it - choosing to ignore you more often than not. This is truly a business & not a care facility. Staff is prevented from talking to families about anything significant at the risk of punishment by the mgrs. Good workers do not last long because of the way the place is run. Do not confuse kindness with care! I would never have believed it by taking the tours – but once you are inside they are unprofessional & disorganized. If you truly love your loved one you will drive right by and keep looking.

This was a long week with a happy ending! Moved my parents into a new and really nice senior living facility in Apex, NC. The Reserve at Mills Farm is a step up facility locally owned and has an awesome staff. Shoutout to Fire Logistics Moving for their help withe the big stuff.

My sister and I recently toured looking for an Independent Living Community for my mother! We have put a deposit down so our Mom can be a part of this amazing new community. The amenities are what really sold us because our Mom is still very active! They have a movie theater on site, beauty-shop to get her hair done weekly (a must for her), close to shopping, and an individualized meal plan. They do not have a pool onsite however they are close to a fitness center with a pool. I am so happy we have found this community...it took my Mom 5 years to commit to this and it has been very difficult since I live out of town, but I finally feel at peace with this decision!
