Mom is at home, living at Big Sky on Waterford, for the last 14 months. Her apartment allows her to live independently while enjoy an amazing view of the East Ridge, flowers on her balcony, and baking cookies to share with her new friends. There are daily activities for her to choose from and has found the exercise room, sit and fit, happy hour, weekend movies, and resident meetings to be on the top of her list. We live close enough to walk up to visit and have found the staff to be welcoming and accommodating.

In June I got my brother into Big Sky on Waterford. I couldn't be happier. My brother is extremely happy there. He is so well taken care of. Absolutely every single staff member is so kind and helpful to him. Seriously this place has been a huge blessing. Thank you each and everyone.

Coming from an employee stand point. The 5 stars is ONLY meant for the residents. They kept me going on days, I felt like giving up, because the administration (Kelly) do not take accountability in any things supervisors do wrong including herself, and the pay is so little compared to what you do.You cannot even feed a family on the wages you make there. It is truly heartbreaking when they do not acknowledge the great you've done or lives you have touched, but are quick to acknowledge anything they feel are wrong doings. Such as calling out a day in advance or with doctor notes. & not able to find coverage because they hire young people or people who are only available at a certain times. The staff talk about each other behind their backs and don't say it to your face, and they are old, ancient, just grown children. It's like a high-school reunion in class of 1950's. If you want to be recognized for your hard work and all the great things you've done, & have bills and no significant other to help, HONEY, let me tell you DO NOT APPLY! Well, all my residents and friends I made being there, I love you all & the staff who are mature and mind the business that pays them, love ya'll too. Everyone else hope you all receive what you deserve. If more than one even two people are saying and feeling the same way I do about you, you may need to take A LONG HARD look in the mirror. All I got to say. And due to the "Grace of God" haha I am on to bigger and better things now. Oh and now with split shifts you are lucky to even get 30 hours. What a shame. Shame shame on you! Shame on all of you! We got a donation for the employees and they bought us food and pocketed the rest of the money. The administrative kept the money that was meant for the employees! (By the way) they pay employees to say great things about this place, when it's sadly all lies once the residents move in and staff are hired. I had a resident cry to me that all they do is take her money and never check on her or cater to her needs, and she has been there for 4 years now… other's complain about the food. I would not send my family to this place.

I've lived at Big Sky for 1 1/2 years. It's a great place to live. Home away from home. The food is terrific, the hospitality is marvelous. I highly recommend this place.

I am so happy we chose Big Sky memory care for our mom. After our dad passed away over 4 years ago, my mom was diagnosed with LewyBody Dementia. She lived with me and my husband for 2 years but she was depressed and hallucinating all day long. This place seemed the best choice for my mom as she still has the feeling of being independent but safe. The apartment like atmosphere is spacious and comfortable. She has trained persons and staff around to help her and who know how to redirect her when she is confused. Her spark for life is back and she likes to be apart of the activities offered. It was so hard to make this decision because there have been so many changes in moms life the last several years. We just want her to enjoy the years she has left and this place has provided that. If you are looking for the best place for your loved one to live in a safe, comfortable, and very positive atmosphere, with staff that seems to be enjoying their role as caretakers, this is it.

This is a review from an employee standpoint: I worked several years in a high stress position, with a massive turnover rate due to problems with managers and excessive workloads. I can't begin to tell you what a relief it is to work in an environment like Big Sky. Not only do "stressful days" get handled in an easy, professional manner but the rest of the staff always makes sure you know that they are available to assist in any way. No one gets thrown to the wolves (or under the bus for that matter). One of my favorite things about the Big Sky team is that they take their mission statement 100% seriously. They don't simply use it as a marketing ploy. "Caring People. Serving People. Improving Lives". The fact that they make sure to hire people that also take those word seriously is what makes Big Sky truly different. Everyone strives to live up to that statement, which makes the employees satisfied about the work they're doing and in turn, shows in the lives of our residents. I've worked a lot of different places, different environments; Big Sky is the first place I've ever encountered that takes what they do to heart - From the top of the corporate ladder all the way to the individual staff. It seems to me like the new management has made all the difference. It's a truly wonderful place to experience.

Ive had a couple experiences trying to find my mom a good place to live where she is well taken care of and a place that she enjoys. Big Sky is just that place. The food is amazing the staff has been great as well no complaints. Kelly is a great administrator who is running an amazing building! Highly recommend!

The activity department hosts bingo 3 times a week with awesome prizes for each lucky winner! It is always a great turnout and we love seeing everyone’s smiling faces! Players can even win Big Sky Bucks to spend in our very own General Store. Just one of the awesome efforts to improve everyone’s day to day life:)

The care they give the residents is amazing. And if your family members need memory care. The staff back on that unit do so much with the residents . And understand their needs. I highly recommend Big Sky living .

Wonderful facility - very caring staff, very well maintained building and apartments. They even have a gym with various easy to use exercise equipment. I have eaten in their dining room (while visiting relatives) multiple times over the years and found the food to be very tasty.

My brother had visited this community and really liked it. We looked at three others and this one was on top. The community provides a grassy area to sit around and relax. It is located right next to a golf course and country club. When we call the staff does not hesitate to provide an update. My niece goes up and visits her from time to time and everything is going very good so far. We are very pleased with the community so far.
