We have lived at Highgate Senior Living in Bozeman, Montana, for almost 6 months, and we want to recommend it to others who are looking for a good assisted living facility. We are renting a villa adjacent to the main building that allows us to live independently, while still having access to their restaurant-style dining hall, as well as having weekly housekeeping service and prompt assistance from their maintenance staff. When the time comes that we need additional services to help with our personal needs, we can easily move to an apartment in the main building. In terms of the quality of life we have here, we couldn’t be happier. Our villa is well-designed and beautifully constructed, the food service here has exceeded our hopes, and the management team is supportive, friendly, and very competent in managing the residential community at Highgate.

Highgate was a great fit for my MIL. Through the different levels of care from Independent to Memory care they walked us through the transitions in life. Tasha was the highlight of our time. She truly cares about residence and graciously worked with our family. Each time we left we were confident our mom was being seen and cared for.

Just got my 85 year old mother moved into Highgate a few weeks ago - the staff and administration have all be absolutely fantastic, helpful, and compassionate throughout the entire process which is a major change in one's daily life. Very thorough and clear with information and questions. The options of independent, assisted living and memory care in one location instead of moving to a different care facility as things progress a plus. Very friendly atmosphere among the residents and staff.

As a social worker, I had to urgently move one of my patients into an assisted living. The support and kindness from the staff at Highgate were incredible. (Shoutout to everyome I spoke to the last 6 days!) They coordinated everything seamlessly, making a challenging situation much easier. As professionals, we depend on our colleagues for support during critical times, and Highgate truly delivered. I look forward to working with them again!

When Dad needed to move into assisted living, I researched local places online. I looked at state inspection records, employees' reviews on GlassDoor, how long management has been there, and number of current job openings to determine turnover. Highgate stood out among the local competition with a stellar reputation. When Dad toured the residence, he told me they "get an A+!". (He doesn't give praise lightly, so they clearly made a big impression.) It's obvious that the staff cares about the residents and wants Highgate to be the best in town. While it's easy to be drawn to the new & shiny place, it's important to look beyond the building to the company and the people they hire. I'm confident that Dad is in good hands with the team at Highgate.

Our family member lives in the cottage memory care unit and since her arrival she has been thriving. The caring staff at Highgate have welcomed us and helped us navigate the difficult disease. Our family member enjoys the socializing, activities, meals and positive atmosphere. She is safe, cared for and loved like family. I can not say enough good things about the staff, and only wish they had more help.

The Highgate Community is like family! The care partners don't just work there, but rather, take genuine interest in each and every resident. My father is a resident in the memory care cottage and my mother is in the independent living residence. My father adores his care team. They fuss over him and make him feel special. Nurse Tasha always takes the time to let me know what he's doing and how he's doing. She treats him with such compassion and genuine interest. My mother got sick only 3 days after moving in to independent living and had to be hospitalized for a week. Everyone offered their support and reached out to see how they could help. Mike in maintenance knew mom had a cat and went up to feed him when he heard she had been hospitalized. Karla, the concierge offered to help with chores and meals while mom gains back her strength. Karla, Linda and Ally offered so many words of encouragement for me and were all there to support me emotionally while I traveled back and forth from Highgate to the hospital. Patti who is the central communications director (literally) was an invaluable resource for who, what, where and when for all things Highgate! I can't tell you how much having all this support helped me deal with the stress and worry. I am so grateful mom and dad are here. I know they are surrounded by friends and family who truly care for their happiness and well-being! I feel like our family has expanded to include all these wonderful people!

The Springs or The Highgate are the only two assisted living places in Bozeman that are good and will treat your loved ones with respect, good food, and care. I highly recommend them in any fashion. Their employees are there a long time not compared to the competition who is constantly flipping people. Linda who handles the sales team is a gem and cares deeply. She will make sure everything is solid.

I want to give a shout out to Linda shriver- Buckner CRC her and I meet through a board we serve on and we connect immediately. She brings welcoming energy into the room. I personally had some senior living concerns as my Mother In law lives with us. I wanted to know what the future looks like and the process of senior living. Linda delivered for our family. She brought me to Highgate Senior Living, We enjoyed lunch while she explained senior living and gave me a tour of the facility. I was impressed by the facility, the option and all Highgate has to offer to its residents. She definitely know's her residents and they know her. I Know Highgate of Bozeman has an excellent reputation for helping every resident live a life of purpose and joy. Last month she invited us to attend a wine tasting Event at Highgate, you could tell their team truly cares about each resident. It was a fun and educational event!!!! My Husband and I will be sponsoring the June event for wine tasting at Highgate Senior living. Linda's a breath of fresh air when the time is right she will be here for our family. Our team from CVS had an amazing day working with the caregivers at Highgate Senior Living. We finished up the second vaccination for all the residents at HIghgate Senior Living, with exception of a few new residents since our first visit. The Administration and all caregivers have a such great caring relationship with the residents, which made it feel like working with a big family.

I fully recommend the Cottage at HighGate for anyone requiring memory care. Mom was the happiest in her last 4 months that she had been in years. Even though COVID restricted in person visits I could hear a smile in her voice, that I had rarely heard in a decade. The caregivers engaged mom in activities that were meaningful and gave her purpose. There was clearly laughter and hugs, which made her feel important. I love their practice of wholistic care, with medical/western medicine intervention only when needed. There was very consistent communication between HighGate and us when anything changed with mom even the fun conversation about a budding in-house romance between mom and another resident. HighGate facilitated the move in and the final move out with competence and compassion during hard times. When mom slipped into Hospice care, the transition was seamless, and there were no more moves needed. The care was loving and competent. HighGate did their very best to not lose human connection during COVID. My heart goes out to the amazing caregivers as they compassionately care for these people they consider family, to their end. We were so glad they allowed family in to see mom, in full PPE supplied by HighGate, to be with her during her last days.

My 94 year old father-in-law has been living at Highgate since July of 2018. From our first orientation, it was clear that the admin and staff were dedicated to what they do. My wife and I continue to be extremely satisfied with the care they provide, especially since the Covid 19 outbreak. Steve Beaudoin and his staff have been placed in an extremely difficult position and have suffered through unimaginable stress. They continue to keep families and residents as their priority. We couldn't have asked for better care. Thank you to everyone at Highgate for their continued professionalism and dedication.

We are so thankful for the many great aspects of Highgate Senior Living! My mom has been living there for four years now, and she feels safe, noticed, and cared for in this unsettling year. Highgate has gone above and beyond during the pandemic; happy hours delivered to her room, parades in the halls, scavenger hunts for Christmas items that have red in them, etc. etc. The staff has been extremely creative and hardworking to keep spirits up during these tough days. I am very, very thankful for Highgate, and so is my Mom!

When the time came that my Mom needed assisted living, it didn't take long for us to choose HighGate . From the moment you walk in the door, you feel the friendly atmosphere. The employees are quick with their smiles and eager to offer help. Mom loves living there. She has found happiness and purpose again, after my fathers passing. She isn't isolated at home anymore. She has made new friends, residents and staff alike. They have become a whole new social circle. I no longer have to worry about her getting her meds correctly, or having meals to eat. I know that if she needs help, it is only a call button away. She maintains her independence by having her own apartment, and the freedom to come and go as she pleases. She is able to have her little dog, which also gets her outside more than she might of in a different situation. HighGate has clean, homey feeling, and the staff are truly nice people. Jean Mickelsen, who is in sales, is such a genuinely caring person. She helped us out when we needed it most. I would be remiss not to mention her by name. They have events at every opportunity or occasion, such as music, games, wine tasting, BBQue, It has been a great solution for our family.

The Bozeman community is very fortunate to have Highgate, the staff is compassionate, nurturing and very attentive to the needs of their senior residents. My mom has lived at Highgate for over five years, my dad lived there until he passed as did my sister, the care and attention my dad and my sister received in their last days was exemplary. Mom is doing well and thriving at Highgate, indeed she feels she is with family every day . I feel mom's life and comfort is foremost on the mind of every staff member at Highgate as it is with all of the residents. Highgate is not an institution, it is a warm and engaging home. My sister spent her last few months at Highgate under the care of hospice, the staff at Highgate worked with hospice to ensure her passing was as comfortable as possible, checking on her and attending to her needs 24/7. The staff at Highgate went beyond the call. My dad spent his last year in the memory care unit suffering from Parkinsons, the caregivers and staff there made sure he retained his dignity in the face of this horrible disease. The residents of Highgate are not just dollar signs and numbers to be managed for the highest profit, they are, each and every one of them, a family member with unique needs and wants, the staff at Highgate does everything they can to meet every need and want. Not only does Highgate take care of the residents but they also care about the families of the residents, working with them to ensure the happiness and the comfort of the residents is maintained and enhanced.
