Choosing a Memory Care facility for a loved one is a very daunting task. My family and I chose Clarendale St. Peters for my wife, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. The facility is exceptionally clean, and the environment, very safe. The staff is very friendly, caring, and supportive, to both the residents and their families. We had very positive experiences with the personnel, at all levels...the Director of Memory Care, the Director of Health Services, the nurse and individual staff members who provide the day to day care, as well as the front desk, maintenance, and various office staff. They're all welcoming, personable, and eager to meet you and your loved one's ongoing and changing needs. They treated my wife with dignity and respect. Our concerns were heard and addressed, and issues were dealt with in a proactive manner. My wife went to be with her Lord and Savior three months ago, and with now having had time to look back and reflect, my family and I are very grateful that she was surrounded by warm, caring, and conscientious caregivers in her last days.

Visited with my mom today. I asked about the cleaning process for her room and she mentioned that it was okay. I noted with my sister that there was an accumulation of dust on her computer table and the bathroom floor was filthy. Please look into this for my mom's health and well being. We ate lunch with my mom and we met a few of your shining stars as we saw them. Emma, Dakota and Zander were very attentive with our mom and made the time we shared at lunch very pleasant.

The staff are warm and friendly. My Mom is so happy to be living there. And we, her children, are pleased with the care and social benefits of Clarendale. Update March 2024: Clarendale continues to be a great place for my Mom. She is happy and her health continues to be pretty good. The staff are caring and my Mom feels safe and content. Three years and we are all still very happy with every aspect of her care.

My Twin and I visited the Clarendale Clayton,7651 Clayton. We were greeted by Ms. Lynne Sugerman. Ms Lynne gave me and my sister a warm and cheerful welcome. As we look about the facility it was as pleasant as Ms. Lynne was. She gave us the Grand tour. As Ms .Lynn walked us through and viewed the different types of apartments and amenities that Clarendale offered, we were very impressed of how well she knew just what we wanted to see. She was not only knowledgeable of Clarendale and its amenities, but very friendly as well as patient in her approach in what our needs were. She took the time and answered all of our questions and even as we walked through she greeted and introduced us to a couple of tenants that lived there as we pass by. Clarendale has the most beautiful luxury living for Seniors. When twin and I are ready we will give Ms. Lynn a call to make some arrangement. Clarendale is by far a great place I would like to live. Thank you Ms. Lynn for showing us Clarendale Apartment Senior Living.

I have lived in an Independent Living apartment at Clarendale of St. Peters, MO, for a year and a half; and find it to be an excellent place to live independently in my retirement years. I love the freedom to come and go as I please while not having to be concerned with maintenance or repairs or upkeep of any type. Additionally, the social life is wonderful. I can chose to take part in as many in house activities such as cards, games, classes, musical programs, etc, as I wish, along with transportation being provided weekly to church and to many of the museums, concerts, and other activities we frequently attend as a group in the St. Louis area. This includes a weekend trip to Branson that I participated in just a week ago that was so well organized and fun and thoroughly enjoyed by all that took part. I am moved to finally write this review today (something I have been intending to do previously) because I just enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet, that was delicious, and enjoyed by residents, many with their families. In addition to the food being delicious and beautifully presented, the service by the kitchen/dining staff was superb. Everyone I spoke to agreed that it was a wonderful meal. Finally, I have to compliment the entire CSP staff, from the Director to the maintenance people - they are all very capable, do a good job for us, while always being kind, understanding and helpful (and fun) to be around. It is a truly a pleasure to live here and I am thankful.

What a great facility! I moved my grandpa into the senior independent living area and he loves it. The staff is unbelievably caring and kind. They go out of their way to make everyone feel at home. They have helped my grandpa so much. With no hesitation they have helped him in every way. For example, setting up his WiFi to adjusting his thermostat. The staff is amazing and the facility is so clean. I love knowing that he is getting taken care of by kind and generous people that care and make everyone feel welcome.

The Clarendale is a lovely community with friendly and competent staff. They helped us with so many questions as we moved our mother into the independent living apartment. She enjoys the variety of the dishes on the menus and finds the food to be tasty. We are quite pleased with The Clarendale.

As much as I liked this place when my mom was in assisted living, I thought they lacked care in Memory Care. My mom fell, broke her hip and passed away. They are a great facility but cannot handle acute care.

We are looking at options for a downsize for a loved one. Sharon took the time to get to know what the reasons are for the need and what is most important when considering a place. Then She showed us independent living apartments and other spaces of the community that matched those needs. All the team members were very friendly and the Building was very clean and spacious. We saw residents around who were happy and friendly, as well. Because she took the time to ask questions about the need and details about my family member on the initial phone call, we left there w some of her favorite treats.

My name is Varnell woods and I was recently refered to Clarendale Senior living community, I scheduled an appointment to meet with Stephanie Groennert ( The Sales and Marketing manger) I could not have asked for a better represenative of Clarendale, she was very approachable and informatively ingaging, she met with a senior couple that I am seeking placement for, and she was awesome. I beleive that they are going to take advantage of the oppurtunity to live there, but if they don't, I will not hasitate to refer someone else to Clarendale!! P.S. All the staff reflected the same attitude of service....Awesome place!

What a spectacular community! I was in town and stopped to visit a family member. The first thing I noticed was how friendly the staff were. Everything appeared so clean and fresh. It was great to see my family member enjoying where she is and so happy to be there!

Picked up my aunt to go grocery shopping. Ingrid was very friendly and engaging as usual! I took her groceries up to her room using one of Clarendale's carts. She also showed me the raised beds on the patio, and she is excited to plant her vegetables this spring!

Was very disappointed to walk in and have the place smell of urine. I know this is a constant battle, but a place like Clarendale should never have this smell. It was strong and through all of memory care. Was really impressed with the new gaming system that uses a projector and a table to display games. Was able to watch the residents interact with it. Awesome system. As my sister Diana Fichter walked by a nurse, her name was Raquel or something close, Raquel not knowing I was with Diana, turned back toward her and gave her a terrible snare look. Very inappropriate.

My aunt has been a resident of Clarendale for almost 3 years, first in independent living and for the last couple of years in assisted living. Overall, we have been happy with the care she has received even during times of high employee turnover and bouts of COVID. The positive experience in the last month has tanked due to an infestation of bed bugs and an irresponsible response to this. My aunt began to notice a "rash" on her arms about a month ago. This continued to worsen resulting in multiple trips to the doctor and very expensive prescription creams. Last week she found what looked to be bed bugs in her bedroom. The management brought in a professional exterminator (Rottler) and I was told the room had been treated and all was fine. She remained in the room. Yesterday I was with her and noticed she was completely covered with a set of new bites/rashes from head to toe. She had caught a few live bedbugs. I spoke with management and was told the treatment was a 4 week process and there most likely was hatching of larva resulting in the new bugs and bites. This is outrageous....if I knew the treatment wasn't a one and done I would never have left her in the room. The facility guy claimed ignorance of bugs and said he was just following protocol. I don't know what kind of protocol allows an elderly person to stay in a room that is known to have active bed bugs! I have since brought my aunt into my home where she is in a safe and clean environment. I plan to keep her here until Clarendale can guarantee the cleanliness and bug-free nature of her room. Her mental state along with her physical state are in shambles due to the stress of this situation. No one should endure this. I would have appreciated more transparency about the scope of the infestation and what measures were being taken to rectify. At this point, I believe the entire building needs to be treated (common areas as well as resident rooms) or this will just continue to be a problem. As I said, we have been fairly pleased with the care my aunt has received but this whole situation is making me look for alternatives.

My parents have lived at Clarendale for several months now. They seem so happy to be there! They're able to be more active than when they were in their own home. They like getting together with their friends for dinner, happy hours with music in the pub, & enjoy movies in the theater. My Dad looks forward to the weekly poker games. Mom enjoys singing in the choir, playing bingo, & doing arts & crafts. Love that Clarendale offers a variety of activities, transportation, day trips & even volunteer opportunities to residents. I appreciate the app they use to keep not only the residents up to date, but family members who want to download it. I'm able to review events, menus, & announcements. It's also easy access to general information about Clarendale's various departments, clubs, contact information, etc. Checking it each day gives me the chance to mention a fun activity, event, or movie to my parents. Clarendale co-workers, directors & managers are wonderful!! They commonly greet residents by name & with a smile, kind word or conversation. They go out of their way to be helpful, both for my parents & to me if I have a question or concern. They get to know the residents' likes, preferences, & interests. They enjoy hearing about each other's families. The community is always well maintained, clean & stylish. Everything seems so well run. Co-workers help one another, as well as residents. I think a great team has been formed at Clarendale. We have had a wonderful experience from the initial tour to now—all professional & genuinely caring so far. This is why we have already recommended Clarendale St. Peters to others. If you are considering independent living for your loved one, you will want to schedule an appointment for a tour to see it for yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed! We are appreciative for everyone's hard work & dedication to the residents & families! Thank you so much for all you do!

My mom is living at Clarendale. Everyone, from other residents to each staff member, is friendly. The staff truly care and have smiles on their faces when they come to help out. My mom likes the meals and the facility. It is always well kept, and they have addressed every concern or question we have had.

My Uncle is a resident and is treated incredibly great. All workers I have met while visiting have been kind, attentive, and very gracious. The facilities are clean, up kept, and comfortable and inviting. My 28 year old daughter said it was like an upscale college dorm.
