When you decide it’s time to leave your own standalone home, I can’t think of a better place to go. The spaciousness of the facilities, the kindness of the staff, the expertise of the staff, the number of things available to do, the entertainment that’s available… I could go on and on. The Gatesworth is just a lovely home.

I absolutely love my job here at The Gatesworth. The owners care, the management cares. The director goes above and beyond for both residents and staff. I consider my job more of a home away from home. I continually take care of some of the most fantastic residents who I consider my family. Not to mention I have made so many long lasting friendships with many co workers. I have been in two weddings as bridesmaids to two of my bestfriends I made at The Gatesworth. My sister moved to florida 5 years ago and I used to think I would move there one day. I have worked here for 11 years and I cant imagine myself working anywhere else. If I could move The Gatesworth to Florida then that would be a dream come true. I truly enjoy my job and everything I do daily. I take care of them and they always take care of me. Patience and a kind heart go a long way! 🙂

The Gatesworth has done a wonderful job of making my mother feel welcome and presented many opportunities for her to get involved in the community even under the strict but warranted restrictions of COVID as she moved here from Florida during this stressful time. While challenging, it has been a success and much of that is due to the Gatesworths staff and ownership. We are really looking forward to the continued gradual re-opening and active community life that originally drew us to this special place in St. Louis.

The Gatesworth is truly a remarkable community. My mother has lived there for over 3 years, and her life is enriched every day by the incredible staff, diverse and interesting programs, outstanding food. I just cant say enough about how it has positively impacted her life and her independence.

The Gatesworth has been my grandparents home for over 10 yrs now. I have so many great memories with them here from weekly happy hours to anniversary parties. It is such a wonderful place for so many reasons but the most important part for our family was was how the staff have always gone out of their way to make these moments special for all of us. Im so glad my grandparents can live in a community where they are cared for and treated like family.

Parents at GW...and friends of parents there as well .They are first quality. Made the transition for my parents very easy. Staff is friendly. Activities a plenty. Food is terrific. They even have happy hours for residents AND families. My parents love it.

The Gatesworth is a very well-organized and well-run community with many amenities. The staff is courteous and helpful. They serve lunch and dinner and we prepare our own breakfast. We only went there once for breakfast. It was my kind of coffee and my kind of cereal; the other food was respectable. The activities are very good. I'm able to do their fitness and meditation classes, we go to movies, we often hear music, and entertainment comes in.

The Gatesworth was very good and had a lot to offer. The staff was helpful. It's a little bit more expensive than other places in St. Louis but I think you maybe get a little bit more personal care along with that. The rooms are a very nice size, had big walk-in closets, and had a relatively new kitchen, counters, and stainless steel appliances. Everyone had a nice deck with French doors. In independent living, breakfast was included, and you have to pay for all other meals. There wasn't a meal plan for independent living. The food was quite nice with a large, varied menus and lots of choices. They had fancier dining rooms for dinner if you want a special event. It's nice.

I would rate the friendliness at Gateworth at One McKnight Place a six if I could. The staff are extremely friendly. Everything here is going really well. It is a really nice facility. I am liking it a lot here. I really have no complaints.
