Allegro Richmond Heights is a marvelous place to live for a variety of reasons. This facility provides just about everything I need on an ongoing basis including three very good meals a day, housekeeping services, maintenance, medicine distribution, and many outings and activities. In addition, the facility takes residents to medical appointments when requested. The employees at Allegro are always ready to help the residents. Whether it is the Care Staff, the Med. Techs, the kitchen/dining room cooks and servers, the housekeepers, or maintenance personnel, Front Desk Receptionists, or the Management Team, the courteous and responsive staff is always willing to do their best to assist and care for the residents. There is also a plan to enhance effective communication between employees and residents. This strong effort features regular meetings at which residents are given the opportunity to suggest changes and offer compliments. These meetings are conducted using both formal and informal formats. Allegro is maintained beautifully and provides every resident a wonderful environment to really enjoy and appreciate a superb as well as meaningful life.

My mom lived there for 4 months and I moved her out because I did not think there was quality medical attention. There is only one RN for many people and that person has to be in charge of staff getting laundry and trash taken as well. She never visited my mom's room, and when mom moved in, the nurse talked to her for about 5 minutes only. And when my mom broke a hip by falling, the nurse chose not to send to hospital, just had a portable xray come that missed the break and now my mom is limited in her walking. When the nurse went on vacation, a corporate nurse substituted and she was shocked my mom was not in rehab, and had her sent out to hospital. Her trash would overflow and laundry was not done for the first 4 weeks but was supposed to be done weekly. This was from April to July 2022. Mom ate alone usually because there is no assigned seating or times for meals, so that was not great (she is shy). The outdoor amenities are super limited. It is very urban with almost no parking for visitors. They have nice activities, a great PT service and room, and good food with a beautiful building and floor plan which feels like a very big house, so that is so nice. This place is good for a social healthier person. Wonderful desk staff and some nice care staff.

My mom stayed at Allegro one time for two weeks, and she absolutely loved it. Now she won’t stay anyplace else. She loved the staff and the wonderful people whom she meant. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and the cleanness of the facility. Now my mom has been returning for several years whenever we are out of town. I moved my mom into Allegro after she had lived at a cheaper assisted living for about a year. The other place was well-intentioned, but struggled in a variety of ways. Allegro is about 25%-30% more expensive, but about 100% to 200% better. If you can step up from a cheaper place, my experience is it will be more than worth it. The facility itself is beautiful. The rooms are well designed, with high ceilings and in my mom's unit, a very large closet (so nice for someone downsizing). The move-in-process was vastly more professional and efficient. We walked in, and they had everything ready to go. I won't spoil it for you, but it was very well done. My mom reports the food and food service is radically better. Most importantly, after she moved in my mom found the internet in her room was poor. They tried repeated solutions until they got it right. Given that she was moved in already, I was extremely impressed by how determined they were to address the issue. Overall, if you can afford it, I very very highly recommend it. They deliver a lot of value for the money. It is notably well administered and the staff is really excellent.

Allegro and it’s staff go above and beyond on a daily basis! Their compassion and attention to detail have made our mother’s transition to assisted living seamless! All staff know every resident by name and are fantastic at anticipating the resident’s needs! There are a multitude of daily and weekly activities to cater to everyone’s needs! Their outings are fun and geared towards the capabilities of the residents! An open line of communication is kept with family via text, phone calls and emails! Family is assisted with any issues that might arise and are kept abreast of loved ones progress via conferences. Honestly, my siblings and I can’t say enough good things about Allegro! Its staff and programs have been the best thing for our mother, and because of this, Allegro (and it’s staff) gets our highest recommendation!

My 91 year old mother lived at The Allegro until she passed recently. I couldn't think of a better and happier place for my mom to live. Of course they had fantastic amenities available that mom enjoyed very much but what makes The Allegro such a special place are the staff. The staff at The Allegro are unsurpassed in the personal attention they give to each and every resident!! The "Welcome Party" they gave her when she first arrived was just the beginning of all the kindness and care mom received while living there. The staff in the dining room and kitchen made sure mom was taken care of so well and everyone of them knows all the residents by name. Mary, Sasha, Robert, and Yas have my everlasting admiration for the superb way they took care of mom!! And...I have to give kudos to Yas and his kitchen staff. They make the most unbelievable food. I ate with mom several times and ALWAYS had a delicious meal...like over-the-top delicious!! Joe and Megan in the PT/OT department are just the best! They are incredible with the patience and care they give. It really made a huge difference in mom's ability to enjoy life! Jeff and Eldin were always there when we needed the help of a maintenance man. They came with a smile on their faces and an obvious desire to make mom's apartment comfortable for her. Kim, Todd, Katrina, Jenne, Karmen and Renee were the most caring, personable and professional members of this great team that makes The Allegro such a great place to live!!! And I, again, have to give one last mention to the one thing that always blew me away...Every single person I have just mentioned knew mom, by name, along with every other resident in the facility!! To me, that says it all!!!!

Allegro Richmond Heights is our first experience with senior living so I have nothing to compare it with. Be that said, my husband is very happy with his accommodations, the nursing staff, food and daily care. Calls for assistance are handled in a timely, professional manner. The excellent physical therapy is a must for someone living with Parkinsons. The caregivers are professional and kind. Ive given this recommendation four stars instead of five because frequently, on weekends especially, the facility is understaffed in every department from management, to kitchen, to caregiver, to maintenance.
