I cant say enough about how the team at PHC took care of my Mom, who had Alzheimers, after my dad died. Lets be clear, they arent just babysitters. They took care of my Mom like she was a member of the family. The peace of mind knowing we had someone we could trust - absolutely - to take care of Moms needs, both physical and emotional. PHC is truly a light in the darkness.

We have used Private Home Care several times during the past few years to provide care for my mother from two to six weeks. This is an outstanding company. The management can be contacted immediately at any time of day, responds rapidly to our requests to begin staffing or adjusting staffing needs, has spent inordinate amount of time solving our problems with long term care insurance, shown flexibility when we do not need staffing for a period of time, tries to have the same caregiver working with the same client as much as possible, and sets policies that maximize the value of the care to the patient and the patients family. The staff uniformly like working for the company and believe the management treats them fairlyThe staff arrive on time, has good care giving skills and social skills, care about their patients, and show excellent initiative in determining the patients needs. The prices are fair.n a field where there is a lot of mediocrity and emphasis primarily on profits, this firm really stands out.

I work for a non-profit that grants wishes for seniors all across the country. I was recently in a pinch trying to find a caregiver for a wish we were working on involving a WWII veteran who would be visiting St. Louis. The team at Private Home Care St. Louis bent over backwards to accommodate our request and make sure this veterans last wish came true. I have never dealt with a care-giving service that was so flexible, professional and passionate about the people they serve. The service was 5 stars from beginning to end.

We have been using Private Home Care for over three years. Moms main caregiver was a godsend at a time when none of us knew what to do. After a year and a half, she moved out of state and Private Home Care immediately had a plan and options to replace her while she was still working with mom. Since then my mom moved to 24 hour care and now, especially with COVID, our family is at peace knowing she is in her home with people that we have gotten to know over the years. I am impressed by how everything is handled by management, the responsiveness to COVID in February before it was even an issue here and most of all we are happy with our caregivers. If there is any problem, the office staff look for an immediate solution and dont make excuses. You can just tell that they care about the reputation of the company and are passionate about providing the best service for their patients and for their families. I would recommended this company without any reservations to any one exploring home care options.

Its taken me awhile to write this review. In August, my father, who had been battling cancer for seven years, finally gave us his fight and came home to die in peace. My mother, sister and I would be his caregivers for the next two weeks. We had zero idea what we were doing, what to expect, what we were in for. We hired another home healthcare company previously and it was an *awful* experience during the one time of our lives we werent emotionally equipped to deal with an awful experience. At my wits end with this other company, I stood outside on my parents porch at 6pm on a Saturday and called PHC, fully expecting to get voicemail or an answering service to leave a message with and have my call returned on Monday. But no, a REAL person answered (Angelo--fitting since he turned out to be our angel, lol), listened to my story of family crisis, took only my first name, phone number and parents address and told me someone would be at their house in 90 minutes to assess the situation and get us a competent caregiver THAT NIGHT. During that 90 minutes, unbeknownst to me until later, he lined up 24-7 care for my Dad--without even knowing my last name, without taking my credit card number, without me signing a contract. His colleague, Diana, arrived 90 minutes later, as promised, and got us squared away. Their caregiver showed up as promised and the others did as well all the days that followed--with Diana texting or emailing me just to check in and see how we were doing. All were caring, competent professionals. It was clear PHC treats their staff better than the average healthcare company because they were pulling the cream of the crop in the way of caregivers. We ended up having my Dad transferred to Evelyns House five days later because we were unable to keep him comfortable at home but during our days before that, this company and their staff made our family feel loved, supported and cared for. Its very clear that their hearts are in the right place. I could not recommend them more highly for any time in your life you might need some extra hands--recovering from a surgery or injury, end-of-life care, etc. GOOD PEOPLE.

Great company, great staff and exceptional management. I was especially impressed by the level of care, professionalism and expertise of the assessor that set up care for my mom two years ago. All of our caregivers are outstanding. All issues are addressed and corrected immediately. I imagine a big part of why my family is so pleased with PHC is attributed to not only the caregivers who come into my moms home day to day but also to the availability of coordinator in charge of my moms care. I highly recommend PHC to anyone looking for home health care a loved one.

Our family worked with PHC for the last year of my Mothers life. Diana Tucker and her team were the ultimate professionals. Diana listened to me describe my Mothers needs and sent the best of the best to care take her for four hours a day while she lived on the memory care unit at Stonecrest. My Mother loved Molly and Carmaletha and our family knew she was in safe and loving hands when those two wonderful caregivers were with her. Diana and Molly attended my Mothers funeral. I was deeply touched by their presence and grateful to see them. I have the upmost respect for this agency.I can highly recommend PHC to anyone living in St Louis Missouri. Diana Tucker is the BEST!

My experience with Private Home Care has been excellent. They send qualified, reliable and competent caregivers and are in touch their patients and families. I have been using Private Home Care for 8 months and cant recommend them moreinitially hired another company to care for my mom 12 hours per day. This was gradually increased to 24 hours of care involving many caregivers. Aside from constant changes in the care staff, I was satisfied overall with the other company until one Saturday when a caregiver didnt come to work, the caregiver there couldnt stay and we couldnt reach anyone for hours. I was put in touch with Diane from PHC the following week. We met and she placed a caregiver with my mom for some of the shifts the first company had difficulty filling. I would call Diane with any issue and she always had an instant solution. We soon replaced all but one caregiver with PHC caregivers because Diane felt it was best to keep the relationship my mom had with the only caregiver from the first company that was left since that person had been with my mom for the longest time. I think this recommendation really speaks volumes of the thought, professionalism and ethics of this company. I recommend this company to anyone looking for home health care and encourage you to specifically ask for Diane.

The BEST! I highly recommended Private Home Care St. Louis. We have been with PHC for two years and couldnt be happier. I cant say enough about them, their team, the caregivers that work with my dad and our overall experience. My dad was discharged from the hospital and we did not not want him to go into assisted living without a caregiver that would be dedicated to him specifically.I found PHC by chance and I havent had to worry about him or his care since the very first phone call. We met with Diana and she walked us step by step through setting up the best structure for dad.In the end we decided to keep dad at home and couldnt be happier. We love his caregiver, Anna and Ester, and we can rest easily knowing that capable people are watching out for his safety and comfort. Most importantly, if there is ever an issue, PHC addresses it immediately. I cannot recommend them enough!!
