Do not let your loved ones come here. This place mistreats their residents and their workers at the same time. One of the older women was panicking about having a shower, in this context she hasn't showered since her husband died, and the care taker that was responsible for taking care of her yelled at her and said "If you don't take a shower we're kicking you out." She only stopped yelling once one of the cleaners stepped and and told the care taker not to yell at her. But instead of firing the care taker, the cleaner was fired. Not only that, they fired her without telling her for a week. The care taker did not receive any consequences until the residents complained about the cleaner being fired, then they finally fired the cleaner. This is just one of the many situations that is allowed to happen in this place. They do not care about you or your loved ones.

My mom has been here since July 2023. It started a chain event that would be the worst year of our lives. But we had each other. And Sunrise really was so very kind, patient and understanding. The staff is good to my mom. After mom was placed here, after a random fall hanging her bird feeder, my stepdad/her husband of 43yrs died 8 weeks later without her. 6 weeks after that I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Trying to be strong for my mom. Handle their estate, get guardianship, all while fighting Cancer is without a doubt the hardest thing I've Ever done. The staff is incredible. The first 9 months I came weekly. Then every other week. But depending on how I'm doing I may miss 2 weeks. I try to bring the staff extra pop when I bring hers. And treats. My mom has adjusted mostly. It took about a year understandably. She lost her husband, her home, her dog, her car and freedom overnight. But the 800 memory care unit is exceptional!! It is all women. It is beautifully decorated. The food is pretty darn good. They do crafts and paint and have fun juice and hot dog and cheese puffs "happy hour" parties. Weather permitting they go outside for group walks twice a day! They have church. They bring in animals to comfort them. They communicate with me. I made the decision to put her here, almost an hr each way, because you will not find a better state assisted living home. The most important thing in the world to me, is that she's safe. No place is perfect. Noone will love your mom like you do. But they care. And she's made friends. I wish I didn't have to work. But knowing that she is provided round the clock care. And I know that they have gone above and beyond knowing what I'm going through. My mom needs me. I'm her world. And she is my priority. But I also must keep my job and get healthy so I can be here for more years to come!! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Angela Beisel

For short term care the rehabilitation team were professional and hard working. However, I would not recommend long term care. Our elderly loved one developed bed sores.

I work at many nursing/rehab centers including this one I work on phones & install cabling The staff at this location are so nice! Because the staff is pleasant......the residents that live there act very happy. Of all the places that I work,,,,,,,these people are the best!

My mother spent the last 3 months of her life at redwood. The staff was absolutely wonderful. They gave my mother great care and were so kind and good to her. I highly recommend this facility.

Wonderful therapy department. The building looks very clean, and I observed the staff and managers working to meet each residents quality of care, and concerns. . Nice facility. Please tour this facility, and I’m sure you’ll be satisfied.

Redwood of Raymore did a great job taking care of my mother. My mother told me she was happy with Redwood of Raymore. The staff was kind and always looking out for her. When she needed something like a good cup of coffee she got it. She felt very safe while there. My mother passed away at Redwood today July-30-2021 in her sleep. On the behalf of the family i say thank you for taking great care of our mother all of you did a great job you made her last days good . God Bliss you all all of you are role models for others to follow.

I was only there for a short time, the room my family member is in was clean, but was concerned about how often the bedding is changed, as my sister is incontinent, her bedding gets soiled, as it was that day. I read some of the reviews, some of them were on the negative side. The staff members I have met were personable and informative. I am not in favor of having to make an appointment to see her, but I understand the situation with Covid.

With all the hard times going on in this world, Redwood of Raymore made looking for a safe and comforting Cardiac Rehab center for my mother and easy choice. Right now, visiting facilities could be dangerous for us all, so the virtual tour was comforting, informative and very upscale. I was able to call their staff with question and they answered all of them, they answered some questions I didnt even know to ask. Its hard handing your mother over to strangers, but with the comfort level this place left in my heart, they made it an easy choice for me.

The charge nurse who cared for my mother was very good. She was able to pinpoint a minute decline and sent her a right out to the hospital. Hospital staff indicated her prompt response and critical thinking skills gave my mother the best outcome.

Redwood rehab center does not keep the place as clean as it should be. the food is not as good as they claim it tobe The patients aren't kept clean the whole place is just gone downhill they don't give pain meds when the patients ask for them when they're do it's just not this place has gone down hill & it needs to be reinvestigated by the feds.

I appreciate the work that the staff at Redwood of Raymore did for my dad. He was there for several months, and without a doubt the ladies there cared for him, and took care of him until his final days. I very much appreciate the caring and compassion that they provided to my dad. He certainly was not the easiest person to help, but they found a way, and they helped him through these difficult times. I am forever grateful to all that cared for him at Redwood of Raymore.

I have had both shoulders replaced, three knees and been in four different homes for rehab and this one so far Is the best in my opinion. Have another two weeks to go.

My mom is at Rehab of Raymore and I couldn't be happier! What was supposed to be a short-term respite visit turned into a great place for Mom to stay. The staff is very caring and kind. They are able to help her with showers and her medications. She really enjoys the activities and has made new friends.
