I've been employed at Stonebridge shy of two years. In the Nursing field that is equivalent to 5 to 10 years in 2024. Stonebridge of Maryland Heights has been like a family to me. The Residential Care is top tier in comparison to other places, in my 17years of experience as an Lpn. The Dietary Department is great the Director is very passionate about the food and accommodates the Residents with any food preferences. The Housekeeping Department is excellent keeping the building clean and odors down. Maintainance Department is always on top of any maintenance issues. The Administration is Superb Easy Going and very Resourceful with Staff and always giving good advice and focusing on the Residents and Staff. Our Operations Director and Regional Nurse is very knowledgeable and resourceful as well. The HR department is very knowledgeable about the company policies and procedures and very helpful. The staffing coordinator does an excellent job keeping the building organized. To say the least I'm proud to be a part of Stonebridge Maryland Heights Team. If your looking for a Family Friendly job don't hesitate to apply. Families if your looking for a Clean Safe Environment with Great Nurses for your Love ones look no further. Our Management Team Rocks !!!!!

I am a current employee working in Life Enrichment and I absolutely love my job. I feel rewarded working for such kindhearted people, my job brings a bit of normalcy to their lives by keeping our residents active and always listening and understanding their individual needs, treating people the way you want to be treated is a must and realizing that positivity breeds positivity makes everyday at Stonebridge well Lived! It is 2024 when I worked with the residents I had a wonderful purpose, not all the workers care about their jobs or their residents so as family members making choices for their elders please think twice before you leave your loved ones in the care of strangers, I am no longer with Stonebridge so from experience some workers are awesome and go above and beyond but some are harmful and that is any senior facility so always learn as much as possible and think twice never rush for these important decisions!!

My sister is a resident in memory care in one of the 4 cottages. In 2.5 months the improvement she has made is amazing. The physical therapy she received for her mind and body, has been top notch. She entered frail, and unable to a conversation that was ledge able. Now we converse, her memory for the most part actually makes one wonder. The staff is very kind, they know each resident, speak to them with kindness and lovingly. Our Social Worker, at Aspen is always available or returns calls promptly and requests granted. The shared room she occupies is bright, always clean. Residents are encouraged to make their rooms there own. From conversations with friends and others with nursing care experience said they will lose their clothes, be found with other peoples close. My sister is very particular about her appearance. Her marked clothing has been laundered and returned as sent.

By MrJ. I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Let me start out by saying this Nursing Home facility in my opinion is definitely much better in contrast to other like facilities I have visited in the past. With that being said I will try to cover almost everything which I have observed while visiting this facility almost daily for about three months or more. The Dining area and kitchen: The kitchen area in the Aspen building is one of the absolute cleanest facilities I've have seen to date. Kudos to all your staff for allowing me a brief tour of that work area. The facilities over all are in ok condition but definitely require some attention. . After visiting a number of like nursing homes this is definitely in comparison a much better facility unless you are very wealthy or can afford the top of the line care for your love one. What makes this facility in my opinion stand out above the rest is the employees who work here. They truly do care about these residents. And yes in the Aspen building I personally know just about all of them by name. Which is absolutely paramount when establishing a relationship with your love ones daily caretakers. With that being said here are some areas which I have observed that require attention. Areas of improvement: The facilities in the new additions are quite nice but do require some updates such as refurbished chairs, couches, and office equipment. Possibly periodically steam cleaning chairs, couches etc with the resident living and some office areas. I would recommend doorbell cameras that link to desk computers or IPads when the staff are in rooms working with the residents. Would help to track who comes and goes as well during the course of the day Insufficient Office and meeting space: . The Brookview building requires the most attention. The business office although professionally staffed and well managed is not well suited for an establishment of this size. A much larger work area with paint and maybe a larger office with a waiting area would make all the difference in this office. Plus it would make it more comfortable for families while performing business activities. Upgrade the ventilation system: First impressions are lasting ones I assure you. In addition this area as well as other office spaces I've seen within this establishment requires a better ventilation system. Unfortunately the smell is pretty offensive in the Brookview building. The residents common areas also require much better ventilation. The positionIng of air purifiers throughput this facility would help tremendously. Routine maintenance/ replacement of office furniture and dining are furniture: I also notice that some furniture within the adjacent buildings require either replacement or periodic maintenance . The dining area chairs, sofas, and most of the office chairs are stained and or broken.i would recommend possibly routinely sanitized cleaning or replacement/refurbished of chair covers .Adjacent outside living structures: It's recommended in the newer outside locations to establish more permanent overhead structure shaded sitting areas for the elderly residents. Having residents sitting outside in direct sunlight couple with extreme heat can be hazardous and even more so for the elderly. It also wouldn't hurt to have emergency fans nearby in case of an emergency. iPads forkball the spot documenting and photos Lastly I would recommend providing all of your key staff members with IPads or its equivalent which link and document pictures/information directly to your mainframe computer. This will expedite an immediate information flow from the staff regarding a resident daily physical/medical/ mental status.

Stonebridge is an absolute God send! After being abused at other nursing facilities, I found the angels that work here! My mom has flourished and grown by leaps and bounds here. Had no clue how bad she had it at other place, until we came to Stonebridge and experienced the love, compassion, and just plain caring of each and every employee to ALL residents! I love my new family of Stonebridge employees! My mom is unbelievably cared for and truly loved here! Always clean ( facility AND her) always happy, not 1 mark or bruise on her-EVER!!-after years of apparent abuse from last so-called facility! That's huge! NEVER nasty smells-ALWAYS clean and fresh! ALWAYS happy! These employees go above and beyond anything I could've hoped for towards their residents! They are truly a God send and I thank the Lord each day for them-my new family!!! My mother is whole new woman! Participates in activities, and there is always activities! Stands on own-even after last dump told us she could not use lower extremities! Yes, they kept her bedridden at last place. Standing-my mom is standing! Wow! And her color, her actual skin tone, not grey luke last 3 yrs-but rosey and again, no bruises! They got her glasses so she can see again! Oh my gosh she even has 2 windows in bedroom. We put bird feeder outside so she can enjoy! She had no windows at last place! Well... i could go on and on about how fantastic Stonebridge is very easily but you must check out for yourself! I have had a huge weight lifted from my shoulders and a peace of mind that I hadn't had in years thanks to my family at Stonebridge! Love you all! And God blesses you all for all you do! It is such a great feeling that I can sleep at night with ease knowing my mom is loved, clean, comfortable, happy, and well at her new home! And it is a HOME! Thank you
