Well I went for a walk through and I guess the manager at the time was it going home early never contacted me but talk to a couple residents and I like what I heard I like everything about it I just wish I could get in there because I guess there's a 6-month waiting list which I'm willing to wait and I'm still waiting for her to send me an application to my email which she did not do today so I got to call back tomorrow and ask her to please do it right then and there so I'm just saying I'm halfway here and halfway there about if I really like this place or not we'll see better for the doubt first off and foremost!

I have been living here since 2019 and I love it here. There is always something going on for all of us to participate in. They are also health cautious here and have a once a month day where medical staff member who comes and takes our blood pressure and glucose count. They have a Pheonex Senior Advocate here to help us with any needs we may be facing or just to look over documents we are familiar with. Helen helped me with my medical applications (I came from Nebraska to Missouri) switching from one state to another. She also showed me how to get to my doctor's and even Wal Mart. Shelly and Casey are great woman, who manage John Calvin Manor. They have been so helpful in being patient with me. I had some financial setbacks from switching state to state and they helped me get in touch with the right people to help me get my rent paid. The people that live here come from all sorts of backgrounds, young and old people, kind and helpful people. The exterminator comes every other month to your apartment building and sprays for bugs. He uses the (friendly to humans and animals) spray that actually works. I have only seen one little bug in my bathroom sink and it is possible I brought that one in from being outside in this windy crazy weather. I highly recommend this place. They are also pet friendly to small dogs and also cats.

I can’t say enough good things about John Calvin. The staff, volunteers, activities and loads of actives for everyone. My brother has some memory issues and can be a recluse at times, but the staff knocks on his door and gets him out of his funk and he has fun. I would give them more stars if I could. Tracy

This is a BRAND NEW 62 and older or Disabled Property. They are HUD. The rent is based off of your income. They have a community room, on site laundry facilities Plus much much more! This is independent living. Just the perfect size and placement in Lees Summit, Missouri. With shopping and grocery stores just right around the corner. With Public transportation that comes to the front door!
