The staff are friendly, the facility is clean, and i always enjoy going there and saying hello to the residents on my way to see my relative . I had some business that needed to be taken to the staff and it was taken seriously, and was handled quickly and professionally. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in need of their services.

So far I have been somewhat happy with how the staff has responded to my father's needs. When they get to him they do a good job; however, they take entirely too long to respond. When the call light is pushed you wait too long for a response. That's a problem for me!! I appreciate a staff that show, care and compassion for your loved ones which they have; when you can find someone that's available. It has only been a few days so I will continue to keep a close eye on how he continues to adjust. Best,

I recently toured Carmel Hills while looking for a safe and supportive place for my mother who has dementia, and I had a very positive experience. From the moment I walked in, the environment felt welcoming, clean, and caring. You can tell the staff truly want residents and their families to feel comfortable during what can be a very emotional and important decision. The Admissions Director, Ms. DeNesha, was absolutely wonderful throughout the tour. She was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and very pleasant to speak with. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and provided all the necessary information I needed regarding care, services, activities, and the overall process. I never felt rushed or pressured, which meant a lot to me during this search for my mom’s care. What stood out most was her compassion and understanding regarding dementia care. She made me feel heard and reassured that my mother’s needs would be treated with dignity, respect, and attention. Touring facilities can sometimes feel overwhelming, but Ms. DeNesha made the experience comfortable and informative. The building itself appeared clean, organized, and peaceful, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. I left feeling much more informed and hopeful about finding the right place for my mom. Thank you again to Ms. DeNesha and the staff at Carmel Hills for your kindness and hospitality. I truly appreciate the time and care shown during my visit.

Carmel's long term care was far more skillful in supporting my mother in her final days than the previous health providers we worked with. Carmel was an imperfect world during her stay but there were enough staff there that were trying to help and not just trying to get through what appears to be a hectically chaotic job. Those staff who found the time to connect with my mother were able to help her in such a way that it helped reduce her suffering and pain. The 4th star is for the them. Given the health care worker shortages and federal funding getting trickier to navigate, it was hard to find a place to provide competent care and I am glad that we chose Carmel Hill's for the last part of mom's journey.

I visited my brother this evening and he was laying in urine. This is a skilled nursing facility and this isn't the first time family saw my brother being incontinent. I spoke with the nurse when I questioned if he had a brief. She told me she couldn't give me that information due to privacy and I wasnt a contact on file. I.called my mom and she was on speaker phone verifying what I said that I am in fact listed as a second contact.She said it wasnt on record although the onsite case worker placed the information. It was one document with our names on it. Yet, in the computer i wasnt listed. It's shady people that lurk there. Please check on your family members at different times so you can make sure your loved ones aren't being mistreated.Its good and bad staff in any facility,unfortunately the ones who are bad stick around and the good ones are mistreated as well end up quitting.

My sister Shelley has been at Carmel Hills for almost a year! The staff is always so friendly and if I have a concern they take care of it . It's always so clean and they have some of the sweetest people! I love going to visit my sister and a lot of the residents and have gotten close to a lot of staff there!!! We had a great visit today!

I read some of the reviews online and was concerned. I found that my fears were unfounded. The staff was very nice. The facility was clean and the residents appeared well cared for. My Dad was at dinner, which smelled and looked good, and he told me that this was the best meal yet.

I did a walk-in tour, looking for a place for my FIL, Audery was fantastic at answering all my questions and concerns and super sweet. The building was a cute homey environment, residents looked happy and clean, and they were playing bingo. NO smells of urine or stool. I will be in contact with Audrey.

Any positive review is fake, look at other sites and you will find it to be a lie. Lost my husbands wallet, forgot to feed him, he was out of his mind on mind altering drugs and so are a couple of the staff
