I went to go visit my Aunt yesterday. I was very impressed on the cleanliness of the community. How genuinely caring all of the staff members were with my Aunt. The staff are kind and respectful, and during our walk through, Tiffany made all the difference for us! She really made us feel like she cared about my Mom's future there, was incredibly knowledgeable, and took her time to answer all of our questions until we all felt incredibly comfortable with what's proven to be one of the hardest decisions we've ever made. Sunrise is very expensive I find the food to be of not very good quality. The cook here it's not very good at preparing meals. They covers the meat in a not good. tasting gravy on a regular basis. Put to much breading on meat use bullion and teriyaki sauce so food is very salty. Oil used on griddle has a bad taste like its old or gone bad. I drink a lot.of boost instead of eating what is served. The kitchen often doesn't prepare enough food. So many times you don't get a choice of what you're going to have for dinner and wind up with a sandwich. I have had a work order in 3 months for them to fix and put the headboard back on my bed which should take approximately at the most ten minute still not fixedi The caregivers are very good. I like them very much the only problem if you press your button people often don't come for a long long time as much as an hour even more. If this was an emergency this could be a major problem

The staff on the third floor are wonderful! They are a combination of very caring and competent people. They are very effective in handling different personalities with compassion and humor, which is necessary in this environment. I referred a daughter to Bridget to assist the daughter’ father who was in rehab. Bridget immediately responded to the daughter with several resources and ideas to help her Dad. We cannot thank the staff enough for the kindness, compassion and support shown to our parents during their stay and to our family during a very difficult time in our lives. Our father was on hospice and our mother recovering from a broken leg, and everyone at Sunrise was so attentive and helpful. We were overcome by the honor paid to our father when he passed, as staff lined the halls in reverence as he was taken from the community. I asked for and received a hug from each staff member, which was so touching. Our mother enjoyed the activities and friendliness of the staff members, the food, the dining room and meeting new friends, until her passing six days later from unanticipated health issues (or as we feel, a broken heart). The staff members once again were compassionate, caring and helpful. We felt a strong connection to the staff - felt just like family - even though we were only a part of the community for a short time. Our experience with Sunrise was above and beyond the experience we had with the previous community our parents lived in. Sunrise is not depressing! It is full of life and energy! We are so glad that we found you!

I am really happy with our Sunrise experience. I have found the staff to be engaged and considerate. My mom is on the memory floor. There are many daily activities to keep her engaged. The food is good. I particularly enjoy working with Nurse Marissa and Floor coordinator Christine.

My father was moved here rather quickly from a very independent lifestyle. He, our family and Sunrise had an adjustment period as they were in management transition. Once a good Manager who communicated was in place it became my dad’s home. His caregivers were like family and they truly cared for him and he loved them back. It was such a blessing for my dad to call Sunrise home. He asked to leave the hospital on hospice and go home to be in his apartment with his family at Sunrise. His last weeks with us were spent surrounded by people who loved and cared for him. Sunrise provided the quality of life we expected for my dad and the companionship, care and comfort in his last days with us and I am so glad he was there. The caregiving team is A+.

I am so impressed by the loving atmosphere here between the staff and the residents. Kaitlyn the administrator is amazing! It is obvious that she goes out of her way to make sure there are special little touches throughout the building. They even have fresh baked cookies!!!

My husband spent the last seven months of his life at Sunrise of Chesterfield. Our family and friends cannot say enough good things about the kindness, sincerity, and compassion of the staff from the chef to the person who cleaned his room. We had been in several assisted living/rehab/nursing home facilities during the past 3 1/2 years which were all very much subpar if not awful. We worried every time we left him because the care was just not good. Sunrise was different. Everyone is part of a family there. When I signed in to visit daily, I got a report from the person at the desk as to what kind of a day he was having or what activities he participated in. My husband was wheelchair bound and thrived on any activity that may help him become more mobile. Every day he could participate in several activities. The nursing staff was very attentive and truly cared about his comfort. They communicated with me on a regular basis about his well-being and any changes they might make. The staff who cared for him truly loved him and knew every activity he liked to do and made sure he was included in them daily. The chef was wonderful too. He loved the food and he could custom order anything if he did not like what was on the menu. During his last week or so, he was in hospice at Sunrise. We were so glad he could be there surrounded by his family, friends, and the caring staff. If every assisted living facility followed the Sunrise model, families would not have to worry about the care of their loved ones or the stress of putting them in a place where they will me mistreated or lonely. Sunrise of Chesterfield has been an amazing place for mother. My mother moved in three years ago and now is on the memory care floor which they made transition for my mother and me fabulous. My mother has dementia and I do not live in town so I needed a.place where I felt comfortable leaving her since I could not come visit daily. She is always happy and luvs it there. The staff is so amazing and educated in all that they do. When I come visit they are always pleasant and I feel like they are family. When my mother needs something they call or already have it taken care of. The facility is spotless and the food good variety. I must mention a lovely girl named Kellie. She runs the memory care floor as is spectacular. She keeps me informed of everything and makes me feel at ease which is very portant to me since I do not live there. I highly recommend Sunrise of Jester field if you are looking for a assistant living or memory for a relative. I have been very happy.

Went on a sunfa6. There was a large crowd of people waiting, but the wait was only 15 minutes. Server was polite and attentive. Food is typical diner fair, eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc. Hard to mess up. Was good, though. Prices were affordable. Definitely one of the easier restaurants to get into on Sunday mornings.
