I've been working here at Friendship Village for almost 8 years in July. After doing this work for nearly 20 years and working in different facilities, this is hands down, THE best place I've worked thus far. I told Ken(Our Administrator) this is my last stop as far as Nursing goes, and I wholeheartedly meant it! I'm as grateful and over joyed as I was then, as Lisa Howard was a part of my hiring process. To now seeing that same Lisa transcend to our now Director of Nursing! Super proud, and couldn't think of a more hard working, dedicated, humble, kind, more deserving person. GREAT place to work. Its a family environment here which makes it an even greater place to live!

Generally Im pleased with everything. Im looking forward to being in my new apartment and my overall impression is being happy that Im here. Everyone would want to be in their homes but there comes a time when you need to move on. I take part in the exercise classes here and Ive enjoyed the welcome tables.

My experience has been very good. I enjoy the people, the activities, and everything here has been nice. The people have been my favorite part about moving here. The continued care and location made me want to move here. They have very nice offerings in terms of the place and the food.

My husband and I moved here eight years ago and our experience has been extremely positive. The people, staff, and maintenance people are fantastic. If you have a clogged drain or anything, they show up immediately. I dont have a car anymore, but if I need to go anywhere I can take the bus to go to the doctor, hospital, or shopping. My kids dont have to worry about me being taken care of because when I need to have more care, thats all here. I just feel very safe here.

I have lived at The Village almost 7 years and am looking forward to great amenities that will be available at the end of construction. I enjoying playing games and visiting with friends. i really am glad Im here.

I was brought on as a full- time Certified Nurse Assistant. So far Ive enjoyed the environment. Great Energy from the Managers and Coworkers, and the residents are great!

There are very very very friendly people here. They are helpful. If you have questions, theres a way to get an answer. I volunteered at the butterfly house so Friendship Village was very conveniently located for me. The opportunity for programs that are intellectually stimulating has been my favorite part about living here. One of the things I found impressive was the residents themselves sponsor so many different programs that everyone can participate. But its the residents who are initiating the program. Were loaded with talent here, at least I think so.

I have lived here for 6 years and when we moved in, everything was in place as we expected it. We moved into the new building and because we all moved in around the same time, we all got to know each other pretty well. Everyone was so nice. Its appropriately named. Since Ive been here theres been tremendous growth in the Village.

My experience has been wonderful. The staff, and ultimately the life care was ultimately what brought us here. Through the life care, we were in position to plan ahead, whereas without it we were faced with a lot of uncertainty. Now we know what our cost is going to be. Its a caring community, and there are a lot of activities to do. Its been a total blessing for us to be here.

The main reason i wanted to come here was because of the Life Care. After I moved here I thought it was wonderful. The people are nice, and its just been great. It sure beats raking leaves. Its a wonderful place because the people are so friendly. The staff are accommodating and if something happens, they always do their best to help you.

Friendship Village is an awesome place to live. They dont call it Friendship Village for nothing - it really is all about friends here. I moved here from Denver and as much as I loved Denver, I would never want to move back.

I like most everything about Friendship Village. A retirement community really benefitted my mother and I decided that when I became of age I would make the move. I have been here about five years. I wanted to move in soon enough to make the transition an easy one while I still had my car and did outside activities. And I think that was a great thing to do. And I would encourage other people to do that.

Its life care. When you join, they take care of you for your life. Its not just a retirement village, its Friendship Village. My wifes parents lived at Friendship Village Sunset Hills, so we decided thats where we needed to go. Ive been here fourteen years. It became our home.

I have lived at Friendship Village for almost 6 years. Contrary to what Marlynne K says, the food has NEVER been horrendous. With the construction going on we were dining in temporary facilities awaiting the new dining room. During this period, sometimes food service was challenging, but always good. Now with the new spacious dining room opening on November 4, 2019 we have a beautiful dining facility with new furniture, china, etc. all prepared in a new world class kitchen by great chefs. The food has definitely been a solid 5 stars in the new dining room!

Having worked here almost two years, Im greatly impressed with the dedication, skill, and loving care provided by the staff. In addition, the residents are amazing, vibrant people who make this community a wonderful place to work and live. Now over halfway through our complete campus makeover, Friendship Village is being positioned to serve the community well for many, many years to come.

We have lived at Friendship Village for about a year. As the name implies, the staff as well as the residents are very friendly. The food is very good and we have few complaints. I like the fact that we are able to sit where we would like to in the dining room. If you are bored here it is your own fault. There are so many activities to do. We went on an outing to see the holiday lights at Tilles Park and that was a treat. We also like the fact that if we need something we can go to the Village Market on campus to get certain items without going out.

I love living here. Especially my apartment. I waited 2.5 years to get into the Rutgers building. I love the balcony, garage, den, and extra space. I dont have to cook, I dont have to rake the leaves, and I dont have to worry about keeping up my house.

Everyones friendly here. They have a pond and they stock it with fish. The different activities are wonderful. They have so many things to do. They have a wonderful woodshop and they bring in entertainment. Ive been here for three years and Ive met some very nice people. You dont have to cook and you dont have to clean. The people here take care of everything.
