I stayed at this facility for two weeks. I found the staff was very attentive and provided excellent care. I would recommend them for rehab.❤️

I was wheeled into a small, dingy, colorless room complete with scraped up walls, crooked curtains, and what looked like dirt marks everywhere. The friendly staff assured me that I would receive the best of care, but with my kneecap shattered and pounding, I was in no mood to be convinced. I thanked the young woman but told her I would not be staying. Both determined and kind, she offered that if I allowed her to clean the room across the hall, I would change my mind. While I and my family waited, a little sprite of a woman approached me. "I'm Miss Gwen, sweetie, and we will care for you. Don't be afraid, angel." Her smile and her hug warmed me, so when they wheeled me across the hall, I took one look at the cheerful yellow walls and said, "I'll take it." Elena introduced herself, and from that time on, she became my caregiver and my advocate. I had but to ask, and she arranged for me to have it. Jason from Physical Therapy explained all the goals he had for me and how each exercise was to my benefit. His empathetic yet firm approach instilled confidence in me that I would indeed improve. We chuckled and talked our way up and down the halls and even through rather painful maneuvers. The young lady behind the next gigantic smile was Abreale from Occupation Therapy. I enjoyed all my time with her and learned that going home did not have to be so frightening. Along with Megan who helped my husband and me learn how to get me into my car, the entire therapy staff was "off the chart" outstanding. A quiet young girl, Autumn, took care of me on Elena's days off. She was sweet and competent. Miss Gwen and I spoke of life as she cared for me through the nights. Katie was the captain of the ship that led me through all the emotional, painful, and even troublesome waters I encountered at Ignite St. Mary's. There seemed to be nothing she wouldn't do to help me. The entire staff had mutual respect for each other, and that respect became an aura that glowed throughout the entire facility. My last day, as I was wheeled toward the front of the building, several staff members cheered and hugged me, gave me a t-shirt and a certificate. I hated to leave and even shed a few tears. I know I'll succeed towards recovery thanks to these people and their constant efforts to provide the best service possible. I have never been so glad that I had faith in those friendly smiles.

My 91 year old mom was in the rehab facility at Ignite St. Marys in Blue Springs for 2 weeks, after hip surgery. They accommodated our requests to be like home; giving her meds at specific times, etc. I had a lot of questions and the nurses and therapists were polite and professional answering them. I was there everyday for a week to help my mom acclimate to the place and communicate with the nurses her needs. All the therapists were wonderful as well. I hung out at the gym to see the types of exercises they had her doing. Which helped because I bought several of the items that she was using so she could continue doing those at home. My mom is an active person, so having these on hand now keeps her busy. The office ladies, front desk and the events lady were nice and helpful as well. She was released in late January. The facility reached out a few times since then to check up on her and the therapists sent her a card with an encouraging handwritten note. It's on her fridge Also, my mom had home health care for physical and occupational therapy and graduated from that recently. She has come a long way and keeps making progress. Her time at Ignite St. Mary's in Blue Springs was a good foundation for her recovery.

staff were kind and helpful. from the attention to detail if the cleaning and cooking staff. the care takes abd nurses were patient and considerate of the grandmothers condition and progress. when insurance bailed, the GM Mindy stepped in and helped us figure out how to handle the situation. saving money and making sure we had help after leaving their facility

I recently completed 8 weeks of out patient therapy at Ignite Medical Resorts St. Mary’s. My therapist, Megan, did a great job not only during our sessions, but giving me exercises to do on my own for strengthening, mobility, balance, etc. I have come such a long way in my healing and recovery. I have a whole new appreciation for therapists and the work they do. Thanks team!!

I was there visiting someone. You must sign in on arrival and departure. The rooms were adequate. The staff seemed friendly. The person I was visiting was there for rehab such as physical therapy.

My sister worked here and I’ve visited a couple of times. It seems like an ok place, however I’ve never had a loved one placed here. Their reputation was pretty good back when I did work in the long term care industry.

Its a pretty good place. Good food served to patients. Nice large rooms. Almost all staff very kind and helpful. My only complaint is that they seemed to be a little understaffed so occasionally it to them awhile to get to me. Also room & bathroom floors could have been cleaned more often. But all in all it was a great place to stay. They also do your laundry. They have a day where you can get a manicure & have them polished. They also have a beauty shop. But there is a small fee for that. Also movie day & other activities. Much better place then some Ive seen.

I have a friends mother who is here. Its a lovely place. The staff is wonderful. They were playing bingo while i was there. Dont mess with bingo. The rooms were cheerful and bright. Its s great place to bring your loved one. They will be well taken care of.
