Mom is in the assisted living area of Benton House, thanks to the caring staff at Benton House she is adjusting. The staff is very patient with the residents and has creative activities that are fun and help our loved ones keep engaged socially and physically active. The staff is not only encouraging to the new residents but, to the family members who are transitioning and entrusting the care of their loved ones during this season of life.

So very pleased with the care and attention my Mother has been given at Benton House of Blue Springs. Benton House of Blue Springs is simply the best. Our mother is 92 years old. Before coming to Benton House she was slowing drifting away -both mentally and physically. She has received amazing quality care from the care givers and her health has dramatically improved. The nursing staff is very responsive to all health concerns, proactive in communication and have given our family the reassurance that she is truly well cared for.Pam was so welcoming and helpful during our initial visit and throughout the transfer process. She also has been very helpful to our family navigating through COVID times! She instantly made our family feel at home!Kim is not only an amazing director but an amazing person as well. She is very organized, incredibly knowledgeable and her genuine love of all residents is evident in all she does. She does a great job communicating information to the families and she clearly works to ensure all residents have quality care in all aspects of her community.Our mother has 6 adult children. We are a very close family. We credit Amy for giving us our Mom back. Amy quite honestly is the most loving, energetic, fun, personable and caring person weve ever met. I am grateful to those who work at Benton House Blue Springs. After our mother lived in two other facilities , we found the perfectlike home community for our 92 year old mother at Benton House Blue Springs. She was welcomed with smiles and caring hands by Kim, Pam, and Sharon. The nurses are available for all health needs and medications. Amy, Tosha, Wendy, and Beverly are with mother on a daily basis with awesome activities, companionship, and kindness. Our mother is treated with love. From Pam, who went above and beyond to help us find the perfect apartment for her, to Kim, who helped with paperwork and always has answers to our questions, to all the other assisted living employees whose names I dont know yet. I recently started working for The Benton House of Blue Springs, also the first time I have worked assisted living. I have never felt more at home in a job. The staff are all more like family, and the residents are very dear to me. Everyday I get to go to work , I also get to bring joy to someones day, bring a smile to someones face,. While I am not able to visit more than a couple of times each year, I feel as if I know so many of your wonderful staff through her. Katie and her extremely thoughtful loving actives, Wendy and her compassionate nursing care, Mary, Angie and Robins kindhearted attentive care-giving and all of the many support staff. We have been so very pleased with the staff at Benton House for the care they have given my Mother In Law Juanita. She did not want to leave her home of course, but once she did she knew it was a good decision! My mother has been a resident for over two years. We transferred her from another Senior Living residency and couldnt be happier. They have so many daily activities I feel like she is on a cruise ship. There are so many staff members I respect and I feel they have become friends to my wife and our family. Megan, Beverly, Pam and Sharon are truly wonderful people and care takers - they truly care for all of their residents. My mother has gone through various stages of health and is now taking a turn for the worse, but throughout of this Benton House has been loving and supportive. Best move my mother ever made.

If your loved one needs only memory care and assisted living care, you wont find a better place than Benton House of Blue Springs. However, the thing you need to be aware of is that if your loved one requires an level of skilled nursing, or develops a need for skilled nursing after a hospital stay while youre there, Benton House will not let you live there. After my husband was hospitalized while living at Benton House, he was not allowed to return, because he needed minor skilled nursing services.

High quality care for your loved one. My mom was a resident and out of all of the facilities and rehabilitation centers we had experienced, Benton House of Blue Springs was THE BEST. The rooms were spacious, private and kept clean. The food was good quality, and there were constantly activities for the residents. I would receive photos by text of my mom during activities. Management was easy to work with and helpful and the staff was knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend Benton House.

We are new here at Benton House of Blue Springs.But one of the things that stood out to me was the wonderful and inviting staff. Everyone smiles and makes you feel welcome. They focus on you and while I know they are busy and have jobs to do, they make you feel affirmed.They appear sensitive in meeting each individuals needs.It is obvious they enjoy what they do.We thank them for their hard work and diligence every day no matter what. Choosing an assisted living facility for a loved one is so difficult. My situation involved just needing a short term stay for my mother. She broke her arm and needed some assistance while it healed so she could return to her home. After quite a bit of research, my brother and I met with Pam, Community Relations Director to tour the facility and learn about the short term services. She immediately put us at ease, answered all of our questions and followed up promptly with us. She had to be flexible since we didnt have a certain release date from the hospital rehabilitation facility. The day came for the move in and Pam and the staff had the room all ready and were kind and compassionate. Her move in was prior to COVID19 and we arranged for 60 days. My mom enjoyed all the social opportunities during meals, games and other activities. All of the staff were professional, kind and helpful. During her stay, COVID19 shelter in place was enacted, which restricted our visits and during a few weeks residents were asked to stay in their individual apartments. The staff did a great job of individually delivering the meals, taking precautions to keep the residents safe. They also found ways to keep my mom active, with bingo in the hall, letting them drive remote control cars in the hall and rewarding the residents with fun prizes like root beer floats, chocolates and lots of smiles. They also sent us pictures, arranged face time calls and other ways to engage us during that time. My moms arm healed and the staff worked with us to bring her personal belongings outside so we didnt enter the facility and put anyone at risk. The safety of the residents is priority one. It was a great experience for not only my mom, but our family knowing she was well cared for and great communication. I highly recommend the Benton House if you or a loved one needs assisted living. My mother was a resident at Benton House in Blue Springs, Missouri for 2 1/2 years. This community of professionals were kind, compassionate and caring. The relationship with my mom was on such a personal level that they became family to her and us. My mother always felt safe and well cared for. In her failing days the staff took well care of her along with the family that was coming in and visiting and staying with her. My mom chose Benton House because of the aesthetics. It is a beautifully decorated and a well kept community. Her apartment was spacious enough that she brought in many personal pieces that made her feel at home and still independent. I felt very at ease with this community to care for my mother when I was not around. She made many new friends and she especially loved Thursday Happy Hour Time. I would recommend this to any family looking for a new home for their parents.

My 93 year old mother has been a resident in assisted living at Benton House in Blue Springs for the past two years. She and we have been extremely happy with her care and the conditions at Benton House. Her happiness is our main concern at this point in her life and she is very happy there. The amount and quality of activities provided are incredible - thanks to Katie, the activities director! My mom will tell us she is never bored with all the activities provided and she also has the option of privacy in her own apartment if she desires.The staff has continually demonstrated professionalism and compassion in their care and concern for the well being of our loved one. The nursing staff goes out of their way to answer questions and offer solutions as things come up. There is a welcoming attitude from the minute you enter the building. Sharon at the front desk always has a kind greeting no matter how busy she is and is more than willing to help and answer questions. It is impossible to name everyone who has helped make my mother feel at home but I wish I could. Thank you all for all you do!! We are forever grateful!!-Debbie McGhee

We have been very pleased with Benton House, Blue Springs. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the food is quite good, and the facilities are quite nice. Our 93 year old mother has prospered here over the past year, and we are very grateful. When we have observed problems or needs, we have kindly let them know and they have been attentive and responsive.

My Mom has been at the Benton House in Blue Springs since April of this year. She has thrived under their care. They keep her engaged in activities to stimulate her mind, body and soul.
